The whole world knows mutants exist. A couple decades ago they were no more real than stories of Bigfoot or alien abductions, but as the new century began, everything changed. News programs started showing men, women and children with unnatural abilities or deformities. Some of them were heroes, villains, but they were all inhuman. Fear spread. Some politicians saw an opportunity to unite their public against a common foe. Many militaries saw weapons, waiting to be used, but to most people, Mutants were a threat to them, their families, and their safety. Charles Xavier, however saw a new generation that desperately needed protection. He’d had a gathering of students, his X-Men, training for years, trying to bring some balance to the world, but things were getting worse. The School for the Gifted was opened, inviting dozens of young men and women to further their education in a safe, nurturing environment. Its doors have been open for a few years now, training mutants to control themselves, to protect themselves, but storm clouds are gathering. Join| Forums| Rules| Advertise[/center]
