I am just over six feet tall with my shoes on, though I am pretty skinny so I don't think I look all that intimidating. Despite my height I'm still pretty light, I think I weigh around 115 or so pounds. Of course, it would be difficult to fly if I weighed too much, and since I'm sort of a bird I naturally weigh less than humans. I have short, easy to take care of, black hair and I normally wear a red tokin on my head. Sometimes this tokin will have what looks like giant, white cottonballs coming off of it. In contrast to my hair, my skin is actually very light, and my eyes are somewhere inbetween. They're a deep red. My wings are naturally the exact same color as my hair. They are big and soft as well.
I normally wear a loose-fitting, short-sleeved, white shirt. The sleeve are a little puffy, but are a little tighter where they end. It's a button-up shirt, but it doesn't actually button at the top; I tie the top with a black ribbon instead. It's mostly white, but the buttons are black and it has black trimmings. My skirt is exactly the opposite; black with white frills and trimmings. It's a simple skirt that only has a few frills at the bottom and absolutlely no other patterns on it. I wear a single-toothed geta on my feet, which makes me a few inches taller. They're bright red with a bit of white at the bottom of the tooth and white laces. I generally wear frilly socks because I think they look cute.

I consider myself pretty easy-going person. I live a simple life and I do my best to bring people information on what's going on in Gensokyo. I try to be honest whenever possible, but I'm not afraid to lie if I think it's the right thing to do. However, I do not print lies in my newspaper. In fact, I actually go out of my way to find the truth. I do tend to exaggerate a bit, but that can hardly be called lying. I honestly don't think I deserve the reputation I have. To me, it's just a sign that people do not like to see themselves for what they really are and that they fear the truth. I look forward to seeing a day where there are no secrets and we can all live in complete honesty and harmony with each other.
I am polite most of the time and all the time when interviewing someone. It can be difficult, but I think it's very important to be polite to the people that you're interviewing, even if they're not polite to you and even if they don't deserve politeness. I am nosy, inquisitive and I love gossip, so naturally I write a news paper and I enjoy finding new things to put in it. I am very socialble and I like being around people. I think parties are a lot of fun, particularly when a few people get drunk.
Abilities and Fighting Style: I have the ability to manipulate wind. I'm actually not completely sure how strong I am since I rarely fight at full power, but I do have some estimages. I know that I can summon winds strong enough to blow over even sturdy buildings. It's also strong enough for me to use dirt, leaves and loose bits of grass as danmaku. I can also suddenly stop wind to create tornadoes. Or, if I so choose, I can make the wind weak enough that it would barely be strong enough to blow someone's cloak away. I have very good control over this.
I'm also very fast and very strong. Even most of the tengu cannot keep up with me and the tengu are known for being very fast. I can not only unleash devistating physical attacks, but I can do it quickly as well.
History: Writing an article on myself like this is awkward enough, I'd rather not reveal this information. ((AKA I have no idea what Aya's past is and I don't want to make one up in fear of being wrong. There's a reason I made this optional for canons.))
