Name:
Aliana
Nicknames/Titles:
Aliana Ocarina (what she introduces herself as)
Age:
116
Age Appearance:
7
Race:
Tsukumogami (ocarina)
Gender:
Female
Appearance: First appearance picture I made by myself! Huzzah!
The dress is made of ceramic, as are the shoes. The holes in her dress and shoes work like the holes in a normal ocarina, that is, people could play her. She absolutely despises any attempt to play her, though.
Personality:
She’s timid and childlike. Aliana tends to stick around those she trusts and avoid everyone else. And yes, she will not trust you at first. If she sees someone she doesn’t know and trust she will either hide or run to someone she does trust. Currently, the only someone is Katriance (who she calls “Katri”). To win her trust one will have to be gentle and patient.
And the other thing: childlike. Like many young girls, she enjoys playing games and doing silly things such as sliding down railings (she absolutely LOVES to slide down railings). One thing she can’t do without is a parent or older sibling figure. Fortunately for her, she’s found that in Katriance.
Likes:
Sliding down railings, Katriance, music
Dislikes:
When people try to play her like a normal ocarina, evil people, scary places
Greatest Fear:
Losing Katriance
Ambitions/Desires:
To somehow cure her timidity and paranoia
Weapons:
Her weapon is her…song magic. Yes, song magic. If she wants to cast a spell she will sing the melody that activates it.
Abilities and Fighting Style:
When she sings, it sounds like an ocarina being played. And her song spells include the following:
Neverending Song—Aliana will sing a fast-paced battle type melody and the target will have a song they hate stuck in their head (and it will get louder and louder) until Aliana sings the spell melody backwards (She is very good at singing stuff backwards) or the target is KO’ed by the ever-increasing volume of the despised song. The way to avoid the effect is simple—cover your ears or do something of that sort so you won’t hear the spell melody and thus, not the song you hate.
Healing Song—Aliana will sing a soft, gentle melody and the target will be healed. Not fully healed, however, unless the damage is only slight. And again—the target must hear the melody for this to work, so if they are KO’ed it won’t work.
Both of Aliana’s spells have a glaring weakness—if she is somehow interrupted in the middle of casting one so she doesn’t finish the melody, the spell will not be cast.
Strengths:
Determination, offensive spell is powerful, quick at dodging
Weaknesses:
Timid, phisically weak, paranoid
History:
One day an ocarina that had been passed down from generation to generation over the years finally reached the hundred-year existence and went youkai. As soon as this happened, the boy who lived in the house (who was poking around the basement) tried to play her, but she promptly ran away.
Now it just so happened that Katriance was taking a stride through a small grove when Aliana came upon her. Taking pity on the parentless Tsukumogami, Katriance became, more or less, a big sister to her. Nowadays the ocarina hangs around Katriance and so far does not trust anyone else.
