Personality: It's rather difficult to summarize your own personality without seeming conceded, but I suppose I can try. I am very calm. I can come off as extremely serious and humorless, but that is far from true. I don't mind if people insult me as long as their insults have some base, and I will make jokes myself. They just tend to be rather subtle. Subtle humor tends to be more humorous anyway. Though, do take life very seriously. I am human, and I am very aware of our short life spans. Unlike youkai we don't have time to waste doing unneeded things, so I try to put every second of my time to good use. Wasting time is the greatest sin a human can commit in my opinion.
I enjoy being around large groups of people and I enjoy socializing. I find small talk to be rather annoying, but it's a necessary part of life. I like having lots of friends, so I try to make friends with every human I meet. Youkai are another story though. Most of them are barbarians that aren't even worth my breath, let alone my time. On top of that, they eat humans, so I don't like that they even exist. I have dedicated my life to defending humans and eliminating all youkai that do not live in the human village. The ones that have the same dedication as myself can be deemed acceptable.
I will never back down on my principles, and I will always stand up for what I believe in. Some people say that this requires great strength, but to me it's just common sense. I do not understand why anyone would pretend to be something they're not, nor do I understand how anyone could possibly not stand up for what they believe in. People that live like that might as well be youkai as they are not worth the time of any human. I'm not sure if they could even be called human, as they seem to be much lower than even dogs.
Abilities and Fighting Style: I am a youkai exterminator, so naturally my abilities rival that of a strong youkai. I guess you could say I am a jack of all trades, master of one. I'm stronger than a lot of people, but my physical strength could never rival anyone who has actually spent time building their muscle mass. I am reasonably fast, but I could never hope to keep up with the tengu. The list goes on. I am well-rounded, I consider that one of my strengths as well as my greatest weakness.
Now, I said I was a master at one thing, and that one thing is turning my opponent's strength against them. I am very good at counterattacking, but I can do something even better than that. I can create "clouds" as I call them, and anything that goes through those "clouds" will be turned back at whoever cast that attack, only it'll be about three times more powerful. This only works on magical attacks, and it doesn't actually make their attack dissapear. I still have to find a way to avoid that attack.
I only have two magical abilities: the one I just mentioned, and I have what I call an "Illusionary Eye." It does not mean that my eyes don't actually exist, rather that I cannot see illusions. I see whatever is really there, and I would never be able to tell if there's an illusion there or not unless someone told me there was. This ability actually makes my eyes look a bit unnatural. They're an extremely bright blue, but even stranger than that, I don't have pupils. My eyes are simply a darker blue where my pupils should be.
I fight with a simple rapier. It's not magic, though it's still an extremely beautiful weapon. Naturally, my style revolves around using as little energy as possible, and is mostly poking. It's coated in silver, so it's very effective against vampires and other youkai that are weak to the metal. It wasn't originally like this, so it's a little heavier and bulkier than it should be, but I found the trade off to be a worthwhile one.
