Katrina is bored much of the time due to doing the same thing every day (i.e. maintaining the windmill atop her home). Due to this, she finds herself wanting to run away but is held back by horror stories about bad things happening if the windmill stops turning. She is lonely because no one bothers to go speak to such an ordinary windmill turner, and one of things she wants is one or more friends. If she is to have an adventure, it must come to her, or so she thinks.

To escape the boring routine she follows every day
Weapons:
She has light magic but she doesn’t use it very often. The damaging spells she doesn’t use at all because it’s never needed. However, she made sure to memorize all her spells so that she would be ready if she or someone she cared about were attacked.
Abilities and Fighting Style:
Her spells include the following:
Shield of Light—Just what it sounds like. A sphere of light magic will form around her or a friend of hers and protect them from most attacks. More powerful spells, however, can break it. Black/shadow magic spells are the ones that are most likely to get through it.
Light Orb—Creates a glowing orb of light that she can hold in her hand. She can also throw this at attackers, but its damage won’t be very strong. It will be slightly more of a threat to shadow mages.
Aurora Wind—This is her most powerful spell. A “whirlwind” of light will form around the opponent and then a sphere of light will blast through the “wind.”
Healing touch—If she chooses, when she touches a person they will both be healed and feel strong and confident.

History:
Katrina’s parents were also windmill people. Her life was basically average. When she was 18, her parents moved to another house and she decided to stay behind and tend the windmill, as she could take care of herself now.
Now there was a story behind this windmill. If it stopped turning, bad things would happen. Katrina doesn’t know if it’s truth or myth, but even so, it’s the one reason she won’t leave the windmill, in fear that something bad will happen if it stops turning.
