So, I could not decide on one picture, so have two pictures and a facial expression chart.
As for the expresions...I might as well list what they mean. You know, just because. From left to right, starting at the top.
Normal, Loud and Boastful, Boastful and Daring, Angry, 'Um...', Unnerved, Agitated, Calm (and possibly smug), angry and hurt, 'defeated', slightly unnerved, 'Sigh...', Shocked, and Royally Pissed Off.
Of other things to note, he is 4 feet and 4 inches tall. This is, of course, without the antenna hair and the scarf (which must be compensating for something).
Personality:
Self-centered, arrogant, little brat.
That sums it up quite nicely, but I shall go in-depth anyway. He is like this due to his mother sacrificing her life to save her son, Laharl, and therefore hate love and anything to do with it. Thanks to Flonne, however, he has become ever-so-slightly more accepting of it. You ask him about it, and he will viciously deny it, and possibly try to kill you depending on how far you go with it. Truth is, he is kind at heart, but you have to dig really freaking deep to find mere tiny shreds of it.
He's cruel. Yep. He is also collecting vassals due to Etna running off again, and will probably attempt to beat you down in order to make you his vassal. By the way, vassal means servant. And why is he in Gensokyo? Why, to become it's Overlord, of course. Expect him to be hostile to you. He thinks he has the land deed to everything, minus the actual deed anyway. Of other note, he's looking for Baal, the Tyrant Overlord that took his father's life. He's managed to beat it several times, but Baal has ended up getting away time and time again.
And yes, he comes from another universe. He, however, is completely unaware of Kaosu's existence. But regardless, expect to not know what he's talking about. Levels? Status screens? Titles? Beats me. But he probably won't stand for anyone trying to destroy the world he's trying to take over, though he might end up trying to destroy it in a fit. Yes, he's that much of a sore loser.
Abilities and Fighting Style:
This is Laharl. He uses a sword and magic to attack, mainly in the form of special sword techniques, netherworld lightning, giant fireballs (Called 'Overlord's Wrath' by Laharl), and a meteor, which he does jump on when sending it to the ground.
He's fast, strong, durable...you do not mess with Laharl. Incidentally, strange properties in Gensokyo have enhanced his magic abilities.

- He's an Overlord. This means he is strong, fast, powerful, ect, ect ECT. This like, counts for 5 strengths, here. He's just that good. Even when he's NOT the main character.
Weaknesses:
- Women with 'sexy bodies', aka big breasts. And yes, this is an actual weakness, actually hindering his fighting ability. But of course, it has to be glaringly sexy to actually work. Just having breast doesn't really work, there either has to be cleavage with big or they just have to be freaking huge. (Why did I go into detail with this...)
- Optimistic sayings ('Eternal Love' is an example), especially anything to do with 'love'. And yes, that actually hinders his fighting ability as well. Don't get me started when one with a sexy body starts saying kind words.
- Limited cooking ability, and Etna, with her prinnies, ditched him again. Living on junk food and canned tuna is detrimental to one's fighting ability.
- Selfish, lazy, arrogant, the works. This is what makes a good demon in his area, but still. Gensokyo is full of people that could call themselves Overlords, and with people in Gensokyo willing to fight for no real serious reason, Laharl will end up being in constant battle and can actually meet his match here. It's a good thing a large amount of ladies in Gensokyo don't have breasts to speak of (tsurupettan, tsurupettan, tsurupettan).
- When fighting a main character (Reimu and Marisa), he seems to always be beatable. And here, there's no clear cut way to become the main character, so he ends up fighting them to see if he can take that title. And due to this weakness, he fails in succeeding, every time. Go figure.
- Small. He must be trying to compensate for something, what with the antenna hair and the scarf. He's actually quite sensitive about it. It's the 'Berserk Button' that doesn't also weaken him.
