Ok maybe I lied earlier.
NOW this is should be my last character until the end(ish) of my sub-plot...right?
30% chance I missed something.
Name: Seiun
Age: 20
Age Appearance: Take it as you will based on the appearance picture. If you think that 8 year olds look like 90 year olds, then I would be wrong in my age appearance. Now, you can decide. :)
Race: Human/Youkai (explaining can come later)
Gender: Female
Appearance: Click
Why did the demon agree to this wear? Why, if the girl was to ever be found, it would keep the person around longer, and that makes it more likely that that person will end up slaughtered before her very eyes. Fun. When the demon is active, this will be noted by a less 'gentle' expression and glowing eyes, that, yes, happen to be red. Plus it looks nice. Still, the demon hasn't said anything about that train of thought.
Personality:
Split personality. The top is the original one's (the human) and the bottom is the youkai's. Info on this is located at the end section of the profile.
She was once an independent person (well at least in the town anyway) who could care for herself among other things. Yeah, that can pretty much be thrown out of the window, as she's now the regular torture victim. She used to trust anyone (unless they were obviously shady) but now she lacks this trust, and won't be trusting of a youkai/demon at all. She used to stand up to her own problems, but again, throw it out the window. She will take the first step towards getting out of that problem or making someone else deal with it. When active, she doesn't like pretty much anything that can wake up said demon, as it being awake means she isn't, and whatever had caused said disturbance is in for a hell of a ride. She would have other plans and other motivations, but she's too busy being chained to a wall most of her active hours, which happen to be the morning and she happens to be sleepy because the demon stayed up all night...yeah. If encountered, she will try to be as cheerful as possible...which has been dwindling. It will be obvious something is wrong, and she will say what is wrong. Of things I have not mentioned, she's a great cook.
----
The demon itself is, to put it bluntly, an evil asshole. It demands control of the body whenever it wants (always), gets it, and goes off to slaughter things for fun, sometimes with grunts. After all, the best way to follow the orders of making the world a darker place was to destroy the light, preferably as brutally as possible. Oh, and said demon likes it anyway, so win-win-lose. Innocent are the most fun to kill off, the ones that want to die can be tortured forever, heroes can have earlier innocents killed in front of them after beating them down...of other note, the demon is prideful of it's status/hates insults. It is a simple creature, with a simple attitude.
Abilities and Fighting Style:
The actual Seiun does not fight, but if she ever gets out of this hell, she would probably take up light magic. She does have the rather odd power of being one of the best bodies to be able to carry a foreign soul. One that is not working out for her. At all. She can't even use it.
The demon inside, however, has large amounts of darkness magic at it's disposal, alongside some fire. It's also agile, unlike the real Seiun (though they both have the same flexibility, having the same body and all). and with the girl's power, this only gets better.
Strengths:
Demon can defend the body (with the body's full support), making attempts at wrecking said body completely hard. If the human happens to be active at the time of wounding, then the demon would probably be awakened at the scream of her soul as she was cut or whatever. This would make the demon happy on the demented side and unhappy on the fact that someone was trying to harm this body. Infer.
Demon does not feel pain. That goes to the human soul. It's part of the body-sharing magic, and very convenient. However, note the body still has limitations. It makes her less likely to flinch, but makes her more reckless. That makes it a double edged sword, but still more towards good than bad as she wants to keep her distance anyway.
Oh, the actual person can live in the wilderness. (Well, until she's attacked.) After all, she can cook some really good food from many different things.
Weaknesses:
Human feels pain from demon, which is the one fighting. Sucks to be her. Occasionally, the screaming in pain can break her concentration, like how watching something ridiculously funny can distract you. Because the demon enjoys that kind of pain.
Light magic has been known to break the demon's hold, for a while anyway. As the human does not know how to fight, that makes that battle easier.
Demon, sealed inside. Unseal it, demon goes bye bye and floats off to most likely be sent to hell. This won't be tolerated by whoever is in charge, and will probably have a different soul arranged to be inside, but between then and there, she's harmless. Looking the same as the demon did when it was inside does not help at all. Speaking of this, there's not much of a distinguishing difference between demon and not demon forms, meaning a good portion of people would refuse her existence and try to kill her. Even when not there, the demon torments.
History:
Seiun had an average life in an average town. This part is basically your average life, and is boring enough to skip entirely. Though, she herself liked said life, and would have rather had this than what was coming.
In a different area, the leader of a group of demons had a dying general, one that would be a rather sad thing to lose. Actually, said demon was in a suicidal attack ordered by this very demon, knowing it was suicidal, in part of a different plan. In any case, it was off to a town that was completely innocent to raid it and find a body carrier for the soul of the demon. The demons did the job willingly, and quickly rushed the town. They couldn't even defend themselves considering the speed and time of the attack, and eventually they knocked down the door of Seiun's house. The drawback of the magic was that she had to give in willingly, and to a contract that if broken would stop the possession. So, they made her agree to the terms that they would not wreck the town and kill everyone, and she, knowing that they could not break the contract, agreed.
They later enslaved the whole place, and killed some of them, including the girls parents. Hey, never broke it, right? She doesn't know they did that yet.
The renewed demon went to work destroying things in order to achieve the goal of it and it's leader, a world of darkness and sorrow. That, was more fun, even better because the girl had to watch it, and even felt the pain and the killing. When it needed to go to sleep, the demon knew that it could not stay in control of the body. Knowing she could live somewhat normally if that happened, when it was time to go to sleep, the demon chained herself in a house, therefore in the only hours that Seiun was in control of the body, she could not leave the windowless house, or even within a 5 foot area. Life was and is hell.
