"Uh...Yeah...Misty just means that the air is wet. All the time," she just stared at him for a minute, but it was clear that he wasn't getting the idea. "W-what I meant was that in order to get to the city you have to swim to it. Either that or fly," she paused for a moment. Perhaps she shouldn't have said that. It didn't look like he could fly, but this was Gensokyo. That didn't mean anything. "But I thought it was bad for nekomata to get wet..."

That was basically the last chance she had. If he realized that he couldn't get wet then maybe she wouldn't have to worry about saying no. It was pretty clear that she was having trouble saying no, but it was just as hard for her to say yes. It was quite the predicament. Sometimes Nitori wished that she wasn't so nice.

Then she looked back at the weird guy who was now staring at a tree. Was he going to talk to another plant now? Oh little tree, your leaves are so beautiful~ I bet your fruit will be tasty~ Nitori would never understand poetry, nor would she ever be able to write it. Oh well, if he decided to talk to this one at least he would be talking to a living plant and it would get some benefit from it.

Still pondering on the thought he stood there, he closed his eyes ~Go to her? Walk away? Go to her? Dangit...~. He continued to try and make his decision, to the point he finally agreed to go talk to the kappa. Hopefully he is able to find out some information about the Rumor. Hopefully he is able to solve the puzzle and destroy some of the stronger Humans. ~Well then, now that I have finally made my decision, there isn't no time to waste. I must speak with this girl immediately.~

Takiyoma stood straight and put his right hand in his right pocket. His head was slightly down so that he blond hair could cover the grin he had on his face. As the grin disappeared slowly he lifted his right hand to wards his face and fixed his glasses by pushing them up-words using his index finger. Takiyoma turned his head to-wards looking straight at Nitori. ~Is she looking at me?~ He thought to himself. He smiled lightly when he noticed her eyes was on him. He wasn't even expecting her to look at him. He didn't know she would even look at him. However it was slightly obvious. Of course she would look at him. She thinks he's a weirdo, and that is one of the many reasons why he was acting like he was looking for something. That was the reason why he walked to the tree like that in the first place.

Takiyoma continued to look at her before facing his whole direction toward her. His icy blue eyes just piercing at her eyes. The wind blew slightly making a dramatic view making his hair blow in the wind. Well, of course it wasn't him that did that to the wind. They were on a mountain, which is high. So the wind was blowing naturally. However it was the timing of the wind that had made it look a little funny. And even a little dramatic.

He pays attention to every word that's said. "But I thought it was bad for nekomata to get wet..."

Sounding confused, he says, "I'm not nekomata. I'm Akamai. I can get wet."

As the older male approaches, Akamai proceeds to take handfuls of water and dump it over himself. He starts to shiver, as the temperature of the water was still cold. Somehow, he managed to get a message acroos through the chattering teeth, "S-s-see? I d-d-don't g-get hurt-t-t by it-t-t."

His eyes stare at the kappa. The large, expressive eyes scream, Take me with you! Though closer, the cat-boy still ignores Takiyoma.

Water didn't affect it? What the heck? Nitori was pretty sure that water completely disabled all nekomata. Even if they were just a little wet they couldn't move their powers, and the weaker ones couldn't even move. Suddenly this little kitty was much more interesting, though all of her current thoughts were extremely unethical. Fortunately, she was more of an engineer and not a biologist, so she probably wouldn't try anything bad. But this was still a very strange little kitty. There was no denying that water didn't affect it at all. Sadly that also meant that she couldn't use that as an excuse to prevent it from following her.

"But...They...My village...Well...Um...Outsiders are..." she sighed. "I don't think you can get there if you can't either swim or fly. And while the village itself isn't underwater we all live in the water, so you wouldn't be able to follow anyone if you couldn't swim."

If that didn't work she probably would let the kid follow her just because she was that bad at saying no. To make mattes worse, the weird guy seemed to be staring at her now. Nitori wondered if he could get any creepier. Really, these two would make a great pair. The kid that basically wants to stalk anything that speaks and the guy that talks to dead plants and stares at people having a conversation. They'd be two peas in a pod. It was times like this that Nitori cursed her shyness since she couldn't bring herself to talking to the weird guy. It was hard enough talking to the kid.

Takiyoma wasn't going to just stand there anymore. He really wanted to figure out the mystery, it was to intense. Narrowing his eyes just a little he began to walk toward them. His expression seem to be a smile, a smile that was slightly creepy, a smile that was evil looking. It was easy to tell that this Taki was plotting something quite evil...but was he? He thought to himself as he continued to head to them. ~The Nekomata creature is talking to the girl. Seems as thought it wants something really bad, judging by the look it's giving the girl. I'm going to have to jump into the conversation somehow.~ Takiyoma's smile starting to turn less evil, or should I just say, less creepy. His smile started to actually look normal.

~Hm, I have an idea how to jump in~ He thought. He closed his right eye and gave a little smirk. "Excuse me, I don't mean to interrupt on your little conversation you are having, but however int he case can I have a word with you?" He asked simply. His voice rather strong making a slight echo. He was only talking this loud because he was future away. Nothing was going to stop Takiyoma at this point. When he starts he continues until it's over. That has always been the mind state of Takiyoma.

When Takiyoma felt as though he was close enough he stopped in his trails. He chuckled slightly before putting his left hand on his hip. "Oh I'm sorry, let me introduce myself in the proper manner. My name is Takiyoma Kuzawakaski." He said simply. His voice rather less stronger then it was, sense he got a little closer two the two.
