Sikieiki was definatly glad when Dorei decided to fly out of the fog. She may not be human, but it wasn't like she wasn't feeling the affects of the poison. Once she couldn't see him anymore she finally allowed herself to cough. Showing any sign of weakness in front of the people she was trying to change was just unacceptable in her mind. Not because it was wrong or bad, but because she felt it would make them less likely to listen to her. Eiki fell to her knees and continued to cough for a second. She felt a little better after that, but she knew she should get out of this cloud as soon as possible. Plus, she needed to make sure that clone didn't actually kill him.
Eiki could fly, but she couldn't fly very fast. Walking was actually faster than flying in most cases, but it would be rather difficult to chase a flying creature from the ground. Plus, she wanted to get out of this cloud. She pushed herself off the ground and slowly started to float. Her stance didn't change much when she flew, she always stood up as straight with her feet together.
"So I see you find yourself scary as well. Just come back here. I won't let it kill you."
She just hoped that he could actually hear her. Her voice was a little hoarse from standing in his poison. She also hoped that he would be smart enough to actually come back to her instead of attempting to run away. Considering she was the one controlling it, it seemed like it would be safer just to stay near her. Then again, he claimed the afterlife didn't scare him even though the judge of hell just told him that he would experience unimaginable suffering if he continued to live like this, so it was hard to tell how he would react.

Dorei let out a growling noise , he didnt want to head back towards her but he did, knowing she was the one controllin gth clone that was following him around. He flew back, beating his bat like whings ( which actually hurt quite a bit cause those too were gashed). He let out a growl however, his eyes were narrowed so much as he perched himself on one of the branches of a high tree, sitting almost like a gargoyle.
" well it makes sence if you think about it.... I scare the crap outa people... I scare myself sometimes..so its quite simple really" He crossed his arms a little bit, still having his legs bent much like a gargoyle would sitting on top of a stone piller.
"So..are you going to stop me from chaseing me?" he asked, growling again, obviously angry that he had to flee, his blood still dripping and makeing a sizzling like noise as it hit parts of the branch.
~~
the poison fog has started to clear now, considering dorei wasn't there spilling more into the area. Sarah still was hideing in her little spot, her mouth and nose covered. She hadn't stopped coughing and she only had her large eyes opened up half way. Her ears pin strait back against her head. "D..Dorei...Dorei flew...Dorei flew off?" she squeaked softly. closing her eyes and coughing a bit more "i..I breathed too much in..."

Sikieiki closed her eyes and chuckled quietly. The irony in this was delicious. "Hm...I wonder if I should..." she tapped her rod against her chin. "I thought that 'weak things that can't survive on their own should be destroyed.' Why are you asking me for help if that is the case?"
Eiki simply looked at him with an innocent smile on her face. Hopefully this would show him just how unreasonable his so-called philosiphy was. It's amazing how easily people change their minds when their ideas are turned against them. Sikieiki did have some control over the clone. It was easy to make it stronger or weaker, so in this case she decided to make it slower. With a wave of her hand she made it look as though it was flying in slow motion. She could always make it speed up again if she needed to, but right now Dorei might actually need a moment to think. Being interrupted by a bloodthirsty clone would make it much more difficult to come to a descision.
"I could desummon it quite easily, but I am very confused. If the clone is stronger than you should I not just let it kill you?"
Eiki paused as though she was going to say something more, but never did. She wanted to say that perhaps she should let that little girl kill him since she is far stronger than he was, but she decided that was a concept for another time.

Dorei smirked some "The clone is only stronger then me at the moment because I used one of my stronger poison attacks. Thats the simple answer, that particular kind of poison I have to use the card for, other kinds I don't, but that kind is powerful to knock out an enemy larger then a tree..yet deliquite enough not to kill them. Heh..Quite simple..when you thought earlier..that I was planing on killing the little runt, that is wrong, I wasn't going to kill her. If she was dead her brother would have no poison to come look for her...no... I just want her to suffer...and actually.... I quite got that pert quite nicely, since she most likely did breath in a good amount of that poison, sure, it may not kill her, but I'm sure its causeing her tiny body pain"
He was right, if he hadn't of used that poison, he would be able to fight with the Clone better then he had at that moment. and The poison was hurting the little raccoon demon that had hidden herself under the tree in a little space to keep herself hidden from the poison that had cleared up mostly by now.
"my Philosophy still stands. and yes..the clone is stronger then em...but if I had my strength up then we would be Equal, plain and simple as that..."

Sikieiki just laughed again. He was only digging himself a bigger hole. She floated towards him until she was about her arm's length away. Once she was there she waved her hand again, desummoned the clone, and watched the card disappear in a puff of smoke. It served its purpose, there was no need for it to be here anymore.
"I personally don't think you would have been able to beat it even if you hadn't used a spellcard, but I guess I can't exacly prove that now. So," she took another step closer to him, "What about me? Why should I let you live? That clone was one of my spellcards, so you could say that I already did that much damage to you and you have barely scratched me."
Before she even finished speaking, Sikieiki swung her rod at Dorei's forehead. She did it with enough force to hurt a lot, but not enough to permanently injure him. That was much more difficult than she would have liked to admit, but she was pretty sure she found the right balace.
Eiki wanted to say that he hadn't hurt her at all, but that would have been a blatant lie for more than one reason. She was feeling a little better now, but that poison was definatly unpleasant. However, that wasn't what was hurting her the most. The thought of sending anyone to hell was the second most painful thing she could ever do, and it was only second to the actual act. He needed to wake up. There was still a chance he could be happy.

Dorei shook hiss head some " Maybe not. but I would of flown away still" He seemed to shrug off waht he said very simply. He didn't seem scared anymore. he seemed just as calm as he had been earlier when taunter her once again. Dorei's moods tended to change fast, it was just something about him, he could switch moods in an instant, without thinking. He closed his eyes some and let out a slight Sigh" I Enjoy the way I live, I am Happy with it. "he smirked some. "I Like evreything the way it is..."
He was stopped when he was whacked with the rod, makeing him fall over on the branch. It did hit the poison boy quite hard, actually it seemed almost as if he passed out because it hit hard. After all, The poison boy was full of sin, The boy lived sin normally, considering he liked to kill things just for fun.
He just laid on the branch after the Staff his him, the corner of his mouth twitching a little bit.

Goodness he was cocky. No matter, that trait worked in her favor this time, though idealy it should be beaten out of him at some point. Exessive pride could get people into big trouble both with Sikieiki herself, and with just about everyone else in the world. She floated in place for a moment. Apparently she hit him just a bit harder than she thought she did. Hopefully no permanent damage was done, as she would never be able to forgive herself if she did that. Eiki was actually not that familiar with mortal physiology, so for now she would assume that he was fine can continue as planned.
She floated over to the tree and grabbed his wrist while he was still just laying there. Eiki was reasonably strong, but it wasn't out of the question for a mortal to be stronger than her. Her great combat strengths lied in her magical abilities. She hoped that would be enough to prevent him from running away, and even if he did manage to run it would be rather difficult for him to force her to let go. So, she would probably be dragged along with him. She hated on relying on simple "hope" this much, but all that seemed very logical in her mind. She would begin speaking again once he seemed to be concious.
"So once again I have proven that I am stronger than you. By your own beliefs I should kill you now. You are clearly incapable of defending yourself. You clearly can't live without the assistance of another at the moment. If you truely believe that those who cannot live on their own should die then should I not kill you? Are you going to try to run away? You are lying to yourself if you truely believe you can run from me. You are moral. All mortal beings die, and all mortal beings in Gensokyo come to me when they die. Every. Single. One of them. That is assuming you actually manage to make it across the river, but if you do not then your soul will be devoured anyway," she paused.
"I love you," it was obviously not a love of attraction, it was more like how a mother loves her children. "I have been telling you that your very existence is in danger. I am giving you the oppertunity to live in an eternal paradise, and I am not soley refering to your afterlife."
She still didn't believe that he was truely happy. She also wondered if he had experienced any form of love in his entire lifetime. Eiki didn't really know if she should continue to try to scare him straight, or if she should act more like a parent. Really, she was just running out of ideas. She knew that she could never force someone to do anything, but she always wished she could. It was always sad to see such a pityable creature like this.

Dorei had his eyes opened part way. he let out anouther growl, His eyes narrowed in an angred way as he looked at her before sitting up. Keeping his eyes fixed on her. He snarled" I dont live completly on my own.." he said glairing some "I do live Assisted by anouther..." he tugged back with great force to get her to let go " But I am assisted by someone that belives wat I belive, and thats it!" he hissed again "I'm going to live my life the way I see it Fit, and if I die in the process so be it But I am ging to Live what I believe!"
He voice was much more serious then it had been before, and he almost seemed more angry as he snapped this at her. His red eyes narrowed at her more. " Like I had said before I don't fear the afterlife, I don't, simple as that. " he hissed again.
" And becides, I'm going to finish the goals I set out to finish!" he glared down at the ground. "Nothing s going to make me change my mind about that!... Not even Death" He made his wings spread out as son as he said that. He was rather thick headed, he wasn't one to change his mind about something he believed in.

Sikieiki losened her grip on his wrist a bit. He could probably escape fairly easily now if he really wanted to, but he would be in for a bit of a surprise if he tried, at least if he tried before she was done talking. She just turned her head to the side a bit and rubbed her chin with her free hand. Despite everything that's been happening she seemed rather calm. Perhaps she's just used to being ignored.
"You seem to be very confused about many things. I shall start with the easy parts: the facts. First, I am not death, I am judgement. Death does not come to you to inform you about your mistakes; they come to you to end your life. When one comes to you, you will have to fight it. It is another inescapable battle, and one you will likely not win. If you lose you die, and a different shinigami will ferry you across the Sanzu River. The width of the river depends on the baggage the soul carries. If a journey takes to long the shinigami will simply through that soul into the river. In your current state it is entirely possible that you would not even make it across the river. If you did manage to make it across the river that is when you meet me. It is actually very unethical for me to kill anyone, so refering to me as 'death' is simply incorrect.
"Second, you have told me many contradicting things about yourself. First you said that anyone that cannot live on their own should be killed, and yet you admit that it is impossible for you to live on your own. You are correct in saying that it is not possible for someone to live completely on your own. Both humans and youkai alike are social creatures; they are not even meant to live on their own. I cannot comprehend why would would even think that those that band together should be killed, but I cannot comprehend a lot of things. You also told me that you did not know what to believe in. Sadly, that is actually very normal. You will have to discover your purpose on your own, though I can help point you in the right direction. I can guarentee that your purpose is not to murder other people, the rest is up to you to figure out.
"Thirdly, I understand that you do not fear the afterlife, which is why I ceased to speak of it. I was actually speaking of happiness with in this mortal life you are currently living. You claim that you are happy, but I have yet to see any evidence of such. I have yet to see you smile a genuine smile. I have yet to hear you laugh out of joy. I have yet to see any evidence of any warmth inside of you. All I have been able to see is fear and depression. You even said that you were afraid of yourself. I have spoken to many people, but it is rare that I see a creature as pityable as you are. As I said, you seem confused. If you have any questions about your life I may be able to answer them. But for now I believe I have said everything I can say."
Eiki let go of his wrist and floated back towards the ground. She certainly tried her best, but there was just no reasoning with him right now. Hopefully putting the ideas in his head would be enough for him to at least begin thinking about reforming his life. Still, after this conversation she felt a very familiar feeling: failure. It hurt. She had grown used to it over the years, but it was not a feeling she enjoyed experiencing. Sikieiki started to walk away, but before she got too far she stopped.
"I wasn't being facetious when I said I loved you," she didn't even bother to turn around, and she continued to walk off once she said that.

Dorei actually listened to waht she was saying for once. letting out a small growl. He was trying to ignore waht She was saying but he couldn't really. He didn't like to question things, but she was actually makeing the stubborn Poison youkai think.
As soon as he let go, he huffed some, turning away form her. His wings spread out again. he finally spoke some genuine words "Your right..I'm not happy..." he said, glaring off into the distance. " And the creatures that caused that unhappiness will pay..." He was meaning humans of course, something humans did made the poison boy angry. "and as for the little runt and her brother.. I have anouther reason for hating them... Her brother dosnt deserve any happiness, so I will do evreything to make sure the bastard is miserable..."
with that said the boy took off into the sky away again. going faster then he had been before. ~~
Sarah whimpered more. She wasn't hearing what was said, she was just hearing voices and the sound of wing beats near where she hid. She let out a loud whining noise.
She sighed some when she herd the wing beats, that meant Dorei was away, she still herd the other person though. She was still coughing and shakeing some from the poison and it made it so she couldn't move around allot" I..Is...is he gone?" her little voice just squeaked out softly, sounding terrified still.

Sikieiki smiled and looked back for a moment when she heard him speak. At least she was able to get him to admit that much. While it was just a small thing it was still progress. One step at a time...Maybe by the time he died he would finally understand everything she was saying. Then again, Eiki wasn't one to merely rely on hope. Perhaps if she gave him a few months...years...decades...she might be able to get through to him.
However, there was another issue at hand. That little girl. She seemed to have breathed in some of the poison, but Eiki wasn't sure what she could do to help in this case. She was no white mage, her abilities lied soley in judgement. Currently, that girl did not need her abilities, she was doing just fine on her own. Sure, she wasn't perfect, and there were areas of her life she could improve on, but there was no reason to discuss such things with someone who was in no danger of being sent to hell. Still, she felt like she should at least say something.
"Don't worry, he's gone," she made sure that the girl could see her, though she didn't get to close. "This area is dangerous. You should head home before nightfall."

Sarah nodded her little head and pulled her little self out of the space under the tree where she had been hideing. Her stuffed toy still held firmly in her little hands. She coughed a little bit again and her legs were shakeing cause she felt a little dizzy but she was okay pretty much asides from that.
She squeaked and fell back a bit, landing on her bottom and she shook her little head some, okay made the poison had a bit more effect then she had thought before, it was okay.
"i..I know...a..allot of areas are dangerious though.." her ears twitched back "a..and I..I though..I thought big brother migt be out here cause h..he doesn't like to be near people..s..so I thought..m..maybe he would be in a place with no people in it..." the little girls logic made sense, even though it wasn't safe for her to be out there by herself.
Her ears dropped back sadly though "h..home?....." she looked down and whimpered some. She didn't really have a home, not anymore anyway. it was destroyed, and the only family she had left was her big brother who she could not find a trace of.

Once again, she wished she could help mortals more than she was allowed to. It would be easy enough for her to find this girl's brother. All she really needed to do was glance into her mirror. However, apparently that was doing too much, this was apparently one of those things she had to figure out on her own. It was such a shame, Sikieiki hated not being able to help people that needed help. Well, she would do the only thing that these "rules" would allow her to do.
"Do not worry," she smiled, "You'll find him. I cannot help you though," she paused. "I am sorry."
She continued to walk away. While this girl did need more help, there wasn't anything more she could do.

Sarah's ears twitched back a little bit, She paused and watched Sikieki walk away, looking down some, then around the area. Her fluffy tail dragged across the ground a little bit. Her ears flickered up then back down to hear any more noises around and make sure nothing else was close, before she looked right back over to Sikieiki, smiling a little.
"I..It's okay M ..Ma'am ..." Sarah bowed a little bit before starting scampering in another direction "h...Hes gotta be close by after all..t..thank you for making Dorei go away though..thank you.." she was a very respectful little raccoon. She was to anyone she met.
She started scampering away then, still a little wobbly and falling over on occasion, but she seemed okay otherwise.
"h..He dose have to be close...right Usagi" she looked down at the stuffed toy she had as if it would answer her again, she noddeD" yeah..." she looked out" hes gotta be..."
