In Gensokyo, dragons were gods, but not just gods. They were something like the gods of gods. So of course, being new to Gensokyo and seeing people about to actually KILL one (it was probably young...for a dragon), that is not good, not good at all. Of course, Genshuku needed to stop this, though nothing but excessive force, as it is how savages best communicate.
...Well, she did kind of use 'The Force'* in this case. All of their knives which the savages were about to use for skinning seemed to fly from their hands, into the air. The knives then turned around to face each savage that was holding them and stayed there. If one were to grab it, it would simply not budge. Not far away, Gen stood, watching the whole thing unfold. She was probably the reason all of this was happening, even to an idiot's eyes, as the odd hair color, crescent moon spear on her back, dress...everything pretty much. Now the question was: What would they do? Try to explain themselves? Flee? Attack? Any of these things and more were possible, and Gen was ready for any of them.
Gen's internal thoughts are currently tied between saving a dragon and getting praise and just plain saving a dragon for the good of the dragon. Mixed thoughts, but all pointing to the same thing.
(*Yes, THAT force. Someone please kill me. I HAD TO DO IT.)

Well, they ended up running away. Human nature, of course. Bunch of cowards. Oh well, she now had a new set of knives. In any case, where to put them was a problem, so Gen simply put them in a tree, for safekeeping. And then, it seemed the dragon fell asleep. The people were probably behind it again, so Gen stood watch for anymore until it woke up (because it couldn't be dead yet, right?)
And wake up the dragon did. It took out the arrow (Gen was not keen on doing that sort of thing, it was a good thing the dragon did) and proceeded to look around. Of course, this was the time to make some comment, simply because:
"That's humans for you."
Even though Gen might be one herself, it was true.
If Gen had not waited an hour for this thing to wake up, she might have been intimidated by it. However, she became used to it due to the waiting.

Ok, being nuzzled by a dragon was the last thing to expect. However, Gen barely managed to keep her cool about it. Besides, the dragon was gentle enough about it.
What did get her attention was that the people actually had a plan. Therefore, they had a home-base. And if they had a home-base, then Gen knew she could be a target as well. This certainly didn't give her second thoughts, just another worry.
Another thought came to mind as well: Those were some cold-hearted people, trying to manipulate the dragon like that. Humans really were bastards...most of the time. Some weren't all that bad though, such as Reimu. But of course, even here, humans were borderline evil...a sad, sad world.
"People can be so cold-hearted...in any case, be careful when a random group of people asks for help, ok?"
And the dragon did say that she owed her it's life, and that was a compliment to her, so of course:
"Thank you."
This was followed by a bow. After all, dragons were gods anyway, one thanking her would have to result in a bow.

haku nodded at what gen had said "sorry...i was trying to help them...i didn't know humans did this kind of thing..." haku sighed and laid down "i was told humans were nice and peaceful"

Well, at least the dragon understood. Heck, it was a good thing the dragon could actually speak her language, but whatever. Gen understood that it was good to help people as well, and it was a shame at least 3/4th's of them were two-timing bastards. Hell, it was probably the humans that told them that the humans were peaceful. At least the demons most of the time were NOT so. The danger is in not knowing.
That's probably why Gen is so smart. Go figure.
In any case, was it the humans? If it wasn't, they need to get their eyes checked.
"Who told you that anyway?"
Gen was relaxed, but only somewhat. The dragon obviously didn't treat itself as a god, by laying like that, which relaxed her somewhat. Why was she tense? Because not only are humans two-timers, they are also quite sneaky.

And yet another thought occurred. Never is a single race full of only bad things, only that there was sort of like a ratio. Gen certainly knew the ratio for the human race: it sucked, but it certainly was not rock-bottom. (Otherwise, she probably would have died at a young age, that only being if civilization managed to stay afoot.) But the other races? Gen, being new here, didn't know about them, and she wasn't about to pretend she did.
"I should mention that all of a race are not the same. Some humans are good, but not a lot of them. I was raised by them, and I manage to keep my head on, so there's a chance that whatever race you might be talking about might be all bad, or maybe not. But, that certain cat is not to be trusted, that's for sure."
...What she didn't say was that she was surrounded by bad humans during her life. But why mention it? Speaking of which, she wasn't even from here.
"In the end, we know more about our own than the others. But, it's to be expected..."

...Ah, tis a sad thing, not meeting your own. Of course, sometimes Gen wishes she never met people, but of course if that weren't the case...yeah. Perhaps she would not exist, or something. Speaking of which how did this dragon manage without it's own? That was a question worth asking. It actually might be tied to it's trusting issue...but hey.
It was about to ask a question, but it stopped mid-sentence. There had to be a reason, of course. What Gen was certainly not expecting was for the dragon to actually pick her up. If she hadn't already chatted with the dragon, she would have tried to not be grabbed so. But, it seemed she could trust it, as it had enough trust problems with strangers anyway. Trust is best when it's 2-way.
Well, now they were in the sky. Of course, being Gensokyo, that didn't stop a good majority of people, but it certainly stopped low-lives. Perhaps it was safe, perhaps it was not. Perhaps it knew? Perhaps.
"Is it safe to continue? Though, it is sad, you never having met your own before..."
Gen had a mixed feeling about this herself, for all she knew she could be Lunarian. But then again, she could be human too, in which case...yeah.

Gen did feel slightly manhandled, but hey, this was a dragon. Couldn't really be helped anyway. It then said that they came back prepared. Well, had they done so and Gen was still around, they should be prepared with shovels for their graves. But, people were saved from that experience. Lucky them.
"Well, they wouldn't be able to be prepared enough to deal with me~"
Speaking of 'me', Gen hadn't asked it's name nor had she given it her own. Of course, she was more than capable of helping out the dragon. My, how roles are reversed these days...
"And my name is Genshuku, from the outside world."
