Tal stood on a branch swaying to and fro with the wind
as he did this he played out an imaginary fight in his head
his hands kept up with this fight...while keeping his bal-
-CRACK
Tal lost concentration and looked for the source of the sound after a few moments the branch he was standing on broke sendiing Tal falling to the ground
he landed on his back and didn't move....with his anti magic up he didn't have any of the abilities of a vampire and therefore didn't recover as quickly
Tal layed there not moving

A figure of a woman could be seen, for it was only a figure because of the darkness. She wasn't cloaked; only the darkness made her appear mysterious. It was freezing outside of the forest, but inside it was only cold.
Skylar was walking slowly due to the fact that she was on her normal walk. It gave her cardiovascular motion that, well, she really didn't need but wanted. Her red kimono looked clean and washed, as well as her hair and face. Her face held the same makeup it always had; Skylar made sure that she looked appropriate.
She neared a tree, and she placed her hand upon it. It didn't take her long to realize the person laying down a few feet away from her. A gasp caught in her throat before she swallowed it; Skylar gracefully walked towards the figure. "Are you alright?" she asked, cautiously.

he sat up and looked around for had asked him...a woman...with horns?
well tal wasn't really too shocked...after all this was the forest of magic
wait...if this was the forest of magic why was she here...this place was dangerous
tal shook his head and stood up
"thanks though"
he smiled at her
"what are you doing in a place like this?"

Skylar watched the person cautiously and backed up one small step once he got up. She nodded to him, and showed a small, sly smile when he thanked her. Her seagreen eyes shot up the tree and inspected the broken branch. What this guy a kultz?
Her eyes shifted back to him and gained a look of laughter when he asked his question, though her face remained still. She inspected her answer. "Walking," she said in the kindess manner she could find.

tal sighed as he looked at the tree
"the branch i was standing on decided to break"
he looked back at her
"how about i walk with you...can't let someone like you get hurt out here"

Skylar looked to her right side, she was a little offended. What did he take her for, a girl? No, she was strong enough to be on her own. "Yes, I'm walking alone in the forest, I always do," she said in one breath.
She looked at him, again, her eyes filling with halarity, "...you may accompany me if you wish."

he didn't know what she was or what she could do but at least he would make a friend
he looked at the sky for a moment...sunset

Skylar stiffened once he started to come closer to her. No, she wasn't scared, just over cautious. She tried to read his emotions, but nothing really came up. She mentally sighed, he was going to be a tough cookie to crack.
He introduced himself, and she didn't want to do the same. She stayed silent, thinking. It was only polite to give her name, also, so she took in a small breath before speaking out in soft words: "Skylar."

"nice to meet you...kinda wish i didn't fall out of a tree before i did though"
he walked with her
tal dropped his anti-magic aura now that the sun had set
as much as he hated being a vampire it felt really wierd with his vampirism suppressed by the aura
only issue was this made him vulnerable to her trying to read his emotions
at the moment he wanted to protect her..he thought she was in a dangerous place and that someone as beautiful as her shouldn't fight
yes...tal was slightly attracted to her

Skylar laughed lightly and nodded, "I bet that hurt." Her tone was slightly sarcastic, but she was really sure it hurt him. To her, he just seemed like a regular human. An Oni was said to have feelings of distrust for humans, but the way Skylar saw it was that he never did anything to her, so nothing to not trust.
Minus the fact that she had no clue who he was. But, hey, life was about being spontaneous.
She instantly felt an amount of pressure subside in her head and her vision became clear. His emotions were slightly twisted in a sense; always changing. He was probably being protective right now, which could have made her laugh if she wasn't so self-gaurded. She began walking, enjoying the crisp, cold air.

Skylar kept walking until they reached a huge tree. She stopped and looked up into it's branches. She heard something amoung the darkness that was falling, and it concerned her. But, she couldn't help but smile at what he was saying. Martial Arts? That impressed her, but she couldn't help but wonder if he was just trying to impress her. But, she held her cunning little smile, "Recovering easily is needed when a foe launches an attack."
She didn't continue to walk, but, instead she leaned up against the tree for support. Skylar began to fiddle with something in the sleeve of her kimono.

he began to look around when he heard something out in the darkness
tal nodded as she spoke
beside her there was something or something else nearby
tal stepped with his back to her looking for whatever made the noise

Skylar pulled a knife out of her kimono's sleeve. It shined greatly in the moonlight; a swift, sly smile appeared on her face. Another noise was heard, a slight rustling, as if someone was playing in leaves. Her smile turned downwards until her face was completely mellow.
"You know I could've killed you by now," she said, slyly. She put her left index finger to her lip and her lips curved back up into a smile. A slight giggle escaped from her lips. She flicked the knife over in her hands before shifting her head to the side.

he activated his anti-magic aura..just in case she actualy want to hurt him
"i dont know what you are...with the horns and all...but im not a normal human"
after a moment he showed her the bite marks on his neck
