My greetings to y'all, denizens of Gensokyo! I am Augen, a n00b to Touhou but a fan nonetheless. I currently have all of the games, but I have yet to beat any of them. Furthest I've gotten was in Mystic Square, where I was eventually defeated by the final boss. Anyway, I look forward to meeting many of the users here and overall I hope to become an active member. I just hope I don't come off as the type who talks too much.  |

If you're new to the games I recommend playing easy modo just because playing on a mild difficulty will help you figure out the game faster. More specifically I recommend Imperishable Night's easy with the Border team (the first one) until you have a good handle on your hitbox, how to stream and how to counter-bomb at the very least if you're one of those people that hates playing easy. Anywho, yay for more Touhou fans~ And welcome~ English patch can be found on the Touhou Wiki. I have a link to it in the Touhou Resource Thread. |

Teehee, thanks. I'll probably stick with normal for now, as I've almost beaten a few of the games. Still, I do need to work on using bombs when they're needed. ^-^;;

You GOT to Mystic Square's final boss? Geez, that makes you better than me already. Try Lotus Land Story. It's easy. Somehow.
Oh and Imperishable Night Easy. Cause it's fun. Yay Border Team~
But Magic Team is the best. Marisa FTW. Alice FTW. Together, FTEW. (For The Epic Win).

It took me awhile to be able to bomb right (it's suprisingly difficult to tell when you're going to die), so don't feel bad. Though, if that's all you need to do then sticking with normal is probably smart. Hope you get your first 1cc soon~ Then you can torture yourself on the extra stages. |
