In Need of Allies... (Open)

Drake sighed as he walked back towards the village. This probably wasn't gonna be easy. He couldn't just go into that castle alone, but he still needed to go in so he could look for his power. He wondered if anyone would actually be interested. After all, most people weren't interested in going into random places where they could end up being killed... Well, most. The others ranged from actually having a reason, being adventurous... Or just being plain old insane or suicidal.

He saw the village in the distance. He kept walking, hearing the grass underneath his feet. He got closer and closer... And then he was in it. It seemed like a nice place... Definitely seemed Japanese. Now, where to start looking? Well... He supposed he'd start asking around.

He asked some different people if they wanted to come and help him with the castle. Most just looked at him like he was insane. He was beginning to feel halfway insane after all of that... He sighed again. Well, this wasn't turning out that well... "I can't just go into that castle alone..." he said frustrated.

[Augen]

Initially, Augen did not have any interest in investigating the castle, and had gone about his ways... This was before Rikako told him otherwise. And so Augen went to the human village, knowing that if he were to find out more about the castle that this would be the place to look. He did not expect to find the man he had encountered at the shrine. But find him he did, and the mention of a "castle" caught Augen's attention.

"Castle, you say," Augen replied, standing a few yards behind Drake. "Heheheh, I've heard rumors about an invisible castle... And to be honest, I have reason to investigate... Provided that I would not prove to be an interference, eh?"

Mokuko had been watching the two men from a point too far up for them to notice. He'd been to the Human Village so many times that he knew what every resident looked like and he was certain that these two were newcomers. In any case, their clothes were unlike anything he'd seen before even considering the general oddness of fashion in Gensokyo.

For a while now the men had been doing nothing but walking and talking and Mokuko was getting bored. Since they hadn't done anything remotely threatening for a while he decided that they were harmless. He flew down towards them but kept himself alert just in case they turned out to be less harmless than he'd thought they were.

As he got closer, he caught what they were saying about an "invisible castle" and naturally he became interested in finding out more about it. He landed right beside the two and stood there, eagerly waiting to hear what else they had to say about it.

Drake looked at the man who had just approached. Oh, wait... He was someone Drake knew."Ah, hey Augen." he said. "Of course you can come. If you can fight at all, you can help." He sighed. "Hopefully this will be enough. I have no doubt that whatever is inside that castle is quite powerful..."

He then noticed something... "What the...?!" Drake exclaimed, surprised. There was a puppet standing there. No strings on it, nor anyone floating above to control it if there indeed had been strings. Well... He had seen things similar to this on other worlds, and this was a magical world, but... More often than not, those things randomly attacked people, or were controlled by magic.

He said to the wooden boy, "Ah... Can I... help you?"

It's been days sense the last time Marviclay has actually spoken to somebody. Although he seemed talkative, he isn't quite the people-person. After getting lost for days, he's finally reached a place where there is more for than ever. He's been forcing himself the drink the blood of animals (Which was obviously disgusting to pore Marvi). However, you got to do what ever it takes to stay alive, even it's big risks you don't ever want to take. His dark red eyes were closed at the time, and he walk was straight and formal. His arms folded behind him as if he were a general. At the time he wore a dramatically dark red robe with a white tank shirt underneath it, and dark blue jeans. His short silver hair was not messed up at all, as a matter of fact it was quite neat.

Marviclay gave out a simple sigh as he continued to walk further in the village. Thoughts tumbled through his mind sense he started the journey to nowhere. Where was he even going in the first place? Opening his mouth he gave out a long yawn before thinking to himself. ~Through out this whole journey, the many creatures I've passed by has been blabbering about this Invisible Castle that is somewhere in the Forest of Magic....~. Marviclay stopped in his trails and opened his small dark red colored eyes before shifting his arms upward over his head to get a good stretch. ~I wonder what all the talk is about. I would go see, but I'm not sure. I don't think it'll be as interesting.~

Settling his arms back down to his side, he noticed the sound of a random person, the man was talking to a puppet of some sort? Who knew puppets could talk. Marviclay shifted his eyes to the mans direction and blinked once, he just didn't get it. Marviclay didn't really catch on to the fact that the puppet has no strings. He was just thinking the man was talking to himself. ~OK, why is that man talking to his self?~ Thought Marviclay, he didn't get it. Looking away slowly, Marvi just tried to ignore the man. He act as if he wasn't paying no attention at all. Marviclay took a few steps, he just figured Hey! maybe if I walk pass this guy, I'll be able to tell if he's talking to the other man or...the puppet. Intending to walk pass the man, he kept his focus straight ahead.

Mokuko looked up at the man in green, surprised at how much taller he was close up than he'd looked from the air. "I heard something about an invisible castle and I got interested." He put his hands behind his head. "Can you tell me more? Please?"

[Augen]

Looking over at the puppet-like creature, Augen grinned and reached into one of his overshirt's interior pockets in preparation, not trusting the behavior of this creature. "... A mannequin? I haven't seen one walk before... But I must inquire, why do you wish to know details on this castle," Augen asked, suspicious of the wooden being.

Drake noticed that Augen seemed prepared for combat. He rolled his eyes. "Well, it's not invisible anymore. Not when I went and looked... I don't know a lot of details, but there's definitely some sort of eerie power coming from it..."

He sighed. He still felt slightly ridiculous, talking to a wooden puppet. He knew he shouldn't, he had seen even weirder things around, but... Well, whatever. He noticed that a few people around were staring. Not all of them had noticed that the puppet was alive. He must have looked like he was talking to himself... He really felt ridiculous now...

koth walked over to the man talking to the puppet and tapped his shoulder
"your talking about that castle in the forest right?....can i go with you?"

[Lucia Kazan]

It would be right about that time when Lucia walked past the gathering group of men, though she didn't pay them any mind. Instead, she boredly swung an orange fireball around, leading it with her right index finger. Naturally, anyone walking by and seeing this would probably get upset...the girl was swinging a fireball around like a yo-yo. She ignored them, however...not because she didn't care, but because the fireball was nothing more than an illusion...thus was the nature of her orange fire. It was used to deceive her opponents or bluff...or, in this case, amuse herself.

Hearing a little bit more about the castle caught Marviclay's attention once again. Marviclay couldn't help the fact that the whole thing was just interesting. As he loss his focus, he began to stop walking, stopping right beside the man who was talking to the puppet (Drake). A smirk creped on Marviclays face, as he faced toward the man's direction, before taking a good look around it. He noticed he wasn't the only one that seemed to be interested in the whole castle thing. Even though he knew nothing about the castle, it was just interesting to hear about. Random people walking to the man, asking if they could join him in the journey.

"What is this?"

Marviclay asked simply, he shifted his eyes directly toward Drake. For some strange reason, Marviclay just didn't get it after awhile. For all he could remember was that there was a puppet, a strange guy, and another stranger talking about the invisible castle. Now all of a sudden people want to join this man on a journey to the castle. Was he gathering people to join him on the quest? Marviclay looked around again before narrowing his eyes.

"So....you are headed to the castle?"

He asked Drake simply. Not knowing what in the world was going on anymore. Marviclay crossed his arms and leaned a little toward the right, waiting for a response.

Mokuko had been about to answer all the questions directed at him when he caught sight of Lucia's fireball. With a squeak of fear and surprise he ran behind Drake and hugged the man's waist tightly. "Y-y-you KEEP THAT THING AWAY FROM MEEEE!"

[Augen]

Augen looked back and forth between Lucia and the puppet creature before making the connection that 'fire+wood=burning wood'... And then he started to laugh. "Pffff... Hahaha! So, you're afraid of fire, eh," he said, before crouching down and looking at the creature's face. "Heheh, don't worry. Nobody's gonna burn you here, in the middle of the village," he said, before standing up and looking over at Lucia. "Hey... Haven't I seen you somewhere before?"

Drake noticed a girl walking by, who seemed to be swinging... A fireball! She was swinging a big ball of fire like it was a toy... It was. he noticed it pass harmlessly through several people. Still, that was sort of intimidating for everyone around. Drake was about to try and tell her that it might be a bad idea to swing that thing around randomly, even if it was just an illusion...

However, he then heard a stranger's voice, asking him "What is this?" Drake looked at the man, who was also staring straight at him. Drake stared back, unsure how to respond to the slightly unclear question, staring straight into the man's eyes. Then, "So....you are headed to the castle?"

Drake responded, "Yes, I am. Something powerful is definitely inside there, and I need allies to help fight it." He would have tried to say more, but he was interrupted by the puppet boy, who cried out in terror and hugged Drake.

Drake looked down at him "Wha-?" he began, before remembering the girl with the fireball. He noticed Augen trying to comfort the little wooden boy. Drake tried to move towards the girl, but couldn't with a shivering piece of timber clinging to him... He nearly facepalmed at how the thought ended up as. Augen had it handled though, he appeared to know the girl. Drake sighed, and wondered aloud, "Why must everything always be crazy...?"
