Schala sat down with her book of legendary heroes. She had just started her quest to seek her fortune. She wanted to remain unnoticed, since SOMEONE would find out she had prophecy, so she sat in a corner, reading, with her travel bag beside her.

Elsewhere in the Inn...
More like at the door, walking. Even while the gates to the castle are OPEN, Ozma was getting kicked out. It sucked. But what was she/it going to do about it? The answer: nothing because she couldn't. At least only the first boss was probably going to fall by the hands of someone named Tanis...eh, she couldn't remember. All she knew is that she needed to find notable people to invade her master's castle in order to set the balance right. That, no one else knew. What she isn't keeping a secret was that she was affiliated with her, and she had used the threat of 'destroying the world', which she was easily capable of doing. Anyway, notable people. What better place to look than an inn? All of the RPG heroes hang out in inns. It's a fact. They instantly heal there in most places. Perhaps she might as well just wait next to the innkeeper...
Or sense power levels.
That worked too.
So, looking highly cute but rather off at the same time, she wandered. Certainly, she was at least a 'little' suspicious, being a little girl wandering around alone and having hair and a dress that changed colors in a swirl. She certainly drew glances from everybody. But nobody (or as far as I know, anyway) decided to ask. Common masses generally don't do that sort of thing. Take initiative? Hah. Ozma was aware of that, too, and didn't even give most of these people a second glance.

Schala noticed Ozma walk in, and she decided to to see what the other girl was up to. she was carful to pretend that she was still reading whenever Ozma turned to look at her, which wasn't often or even intending to try to see her. She just didn't want anyone to find out she was a prophetess.

Ozma looked around and about, and noticed someone trying to not make eye contact. Woe was she, Ozma, even in human form, still had 360 vision. She just pretended to only have normal vision. It was good, having a normal form of a giant ball and retaining this vision with her/it's human form. And notice Schala she did. Due to being an envoy of chaos (though not chaotic evil, she struck the balance between chaotic evil and chaotic good, thus being chaotic neutral), she had no problems just talking to her after walking close enough towards her. She was...well, small. But there was some sort of powerful air about her.
"You...seem different. Much like me, but anyway. The question you would want to ask me is: 'What do you want?' or something like that. I'll answer it before you ask: You do realize that the world is in danger right now, right?"
The eyes that Ozma carried about were now looking at both of them. Association was something common masses used while idly standing by to wonder what's going on. A common use, really.

"The world is in danger?" Schala replied, surprised. "I just left home and set out to seek my fortune because--" She stopped. Whew! she thought. What a close call! She swore to herself never to almost slip again. On the other hand, the girl did seem friendly. "My name is Schala," Schala said. "It's nice to meet you."

It seemed she lived in a box within a box. Gensokyo seemed like a box (and it kind of was, being cut off from the rest of the world, thus making news travel faster (and on top of THAT, the fastest tengu in the world delivered the biased news too) and...wait, that isn't good.)
It's a good thing she didn't read the news. Aya (the aforementioned tengu) was VERY inaccurate about that report. Kaosu didn't mind the interpretation (great for attention) but Ozma was not in the mood to be called a random loli hater and a kidnapper, plus having a nonhuman form tended to lower one's opinion of you. But, that was the news. She had to deal with it. And still not hide her name.
And she almost let something slip, much like Kaosu would regularly do if not slip completely. Ozma wondered what that could have possibly been. Magic was more common than technology here by miles, so whatever power she had that let Ozma notice her must had been notable enough for her to hide it.
"You must live in some box then, the news should have been sent everywhere by now. And I do note you were about to finish a sentence..."
...Nah.
"...but you don't have to finish it. My name is Ozma, and it's my job to gather people to stop the world from being destroyed. I sensed that you would be someone to help out with that, much unlike most of these people in here."
Kaosu was well prepared to destroy the world, but her actually doing it was dependent on if people bothered to come, or if the world was filled with common masses like these people. If that was the case, she wouldn't even have a choice.
Ozma waited for the reply that would probably follow.

About ten feet away, a young-looking lady in a brown hakama sat with a cup of tea... Her mind was calm and carefree at first, but then her eyes widened, startled at the words "world" and "destroyed" being used in the same sentence. It wasn't long before she put the pieces together: destroyed gensokyo = destroyed makai = destroyed demons... Something she would not let happen. She looked over at the two conversing individuals who caught her attention, and silently listened. She knew that if something bad might happen to her people, than she might have to get involved... But for now, she knew it was best to just wait and listen. Or maybe that was just her excuse for not doing anything yet.

Schala hesitated. Traveling with Ozma might be a good idea for an adventure, but her fear of being discovered was too big. Finally, after many thoughts, Schala replied, "Okay! I'm up for a little adventure!" She was going to tell Ozma about her prophetic skills eventually, but she hesitated. Would this sever their friendship? However, she pucked up her courage and whispered, "I've got prophecy. Please don't tell anyone."

She probably wouldn't be able to keep a secret from someone who oversaw everything. Anyway, onward.
Good, she wanted to continue with this. It's a shame that she wouldn't be able to go with Ozma, as she was supposed to be working with Kaosu. You know, the one in charge of this whole thing. But she didn't know she was thinking that. So whatever. And when she whispered her secret, Ozma was simply surprised due to 2 things:
1. Why would she bother keeping it a secret?
2. If she knew what was going to happen...no, wait a second. Kaosu is the god of chaos. Of course she muddled things beyond recognition in the long run. There's no way she could have predicted everything about her or whatnot. So just one thing. Ozma said in an audible voice:
"That can't really be that bad, can it? After all, I'm working for that person. The one that threatened to destroy the world. I'm her second in command. And before you react in complete and total shock, you should wonder why she hasn't already destroyed the world if she could. The answer is one I will not say."
Surely she had her beat. Was it a bad idea? Possibly. No, probably.
Ozma's hair, the parts Schala wasn't seeing, moved a bit...was it motioning towards Yuugen? Yes, it was. Quite the alien sight.

The eyes on Yuugen's clothing, as well as her more mundane ones, focused on Ozma's hair. Yuugen didn't want to notice it, but she did, and what's been seen cannot be unseen... And Yuugen knew she couldn't stay static for too long.
"Did you say... Did you say you're working for someone who might destroy Gensokyo," she asked quietly, standing over Ozma. "Why... Why would somebody wish to do such a thing?" There was sadness and confusion in her voice as she spoke. The concept at hand obviously made her very nervous.

Schala took her book and put it in her travel bag. "Shall we go?" she asked Ozma. She was ready for adventure, but she sensed that Ozma knew something about her that she didn't. It was all part of a prophecy that Schala would find something out from her new friend. She picked up her bag, ready to go. Then she noticed tha another girl looked interested in their conversation.

?
"Did you not just hear me.* I work for the Big Bad, the person trying to destroy the world. Why are you not surprised in the least.* Even if I wanted to go back at the moment, I would be kicked out again anyway. I just have to wait for her to calm down again, and then I have to make sure she doesn't mess up. Can't come with."
And after hearing the timid one, added a few more words in there.
"Said story is an incredibly long story which I am not allowed to let the details of slip my mouth, nor will any method of prediction. Did I mention it was the God of Chaos who said she would? There's already other people there...perhaps she could come along too?"
*(That was said as more of a statement than a question, hence the lack of a question mark, dood.)

"I was not surprised because you asked me to not be," Schala said. "I sense you know something I don't know," she added. Schala wondered if Ozma knew what her place in the world was. Even being a prophetess Schala could not predict her own destiny. She also thought that Ozma must be only pretending to work for the bad guy, why otherwise would she have talked to Schala, who didn't fancy herself as bad? All her life she had been kind to everyone. Finally she asked, "What do you know of my destiny?"

Shiro stood outside the inn, his tail swishing behind him. Smirking, Shiro set several tacks upon the ground, waiting for some unfortunate soul to step on them. However, as his stomach rumbled, his mind turned to another thought, CANDY! As Shiro's stomach cried out for sugar, he looked at the door of the inn. Surely he could beg some sweets off someone, AND manage to see when somebody stepped on his prank? Looking into the glass of a window, Shiro switched to human form, and made himself look as cute as possible. He then stepped around the tacks, and opened the door, before walking in. Who was a good target here? Probably one of the girls he could see wandering about inside, after all they just loved cute and cuddly.

Yuugen silently sat, listening to the two other girls while kinda-thinking about what she would do about the impending doom... When after a short while she started to doze off. She looked to be in a deep state of concentration, until she started to snore quietly, but loud enough to be noticable.
