Going to see Kaosu (inn people)

[Augen]

Nothing could save them now... There was no way to avoid this one. No matter where they stood, they'd be standing in death's path. Something needed to be done...

"Don't move," Yuugenmagan said, hovering over to where her companions stood. Those balls were going to burst soon, so she needed to be quick about this. Five abyssal eyes opened, staring downward at the floor. From their pupils poured rays of laser light, which connected them to the floor.

"... SPIN," Yuugenmagan yelled, her eyes spinning circles very quickly, creating a cylinder of laser light around the heroes. Hopefully this would work.

[Five-minute Cat Nap]

Weee! Cool! Shiro thought, his eyes taking in the colors. before he began to walk a bit, though making sure not to get in the way of Yuugen. He then laid himself down again the floor, his paws under his chin. Not much to do but wait while Yuugen cleared everything up.

[Genshuku]

And thus the balls exploded, destroying everything in their path...

Except the people covered in laser light. The shards vaporized when they went through, the only things that got through were splashes of water, and seeing as none of them were nekomata or vampires that did nothing except make them mildly wet. Only mildly.

Kyoujin was expecting flawless victory. What she got was...flawless defeat. Her plan was negated by those laser shields. Blast it all...

"E-eeh? Nuuuu, my plan........FINE! I'LL JUST BLOW YOU UP ALL AT ONCE! EAT LASER, JERKS!"

The spell and spell barrier went away right after that, as she changed again.

Uber Magic "Cry! Scream!!*"

A completely huge rainbow spell circle appeared under Kyoujin, which quickly spread to include almost everywhere in the room, save a foot or so on the outside perimeter. And then, it...glowed harder, followed by the shaking of the room. Whatever was going down, it was REALLY going down, and it was going down pretty soon.

She did lack a barrier however, and seemed slightly vulnerable in this state.

Well, there's a phrase for these moments. Heaven or Hell, let's rock.

*(Share's it's name with the final boss's theme of a particularly hard game, the final boss being really fat, ugly, and having a laugh that can back up her killing you with purple danmaku. Song's great.)

[Schala]

Whew, Yuugen had saved Schala and Shiro. The ice balls melted and a bit of water fell on her. That was okay.

"Thank you, Yuugen," she said.

Suddenly, a huge rainbow circle was headed right for them, and it looked dangerous. There was no way out.

Unless...

"Yuugen!" Schala cried. "Help us!"

They were trapped by the lasers unless Yuugen dispelled them.

[Augen]

Yuugenmagan's eyes closed, but now she was spinning instead... Or at least she was, for a few seconds, followed by her flying around aimlessly and then diving headfirst into the floor, laying there and trying to hold onto it, as though she were falling away from the ground. Which she wasn't.

"Wh- Wha? The room's all swirly," she said, her head moving in a circular motion as she struggled to look up.

[Five-minute Cat Nap]

Switching back to Human form, Shiro looked at the palette of colors represented around the group. "Woaaaaaah boy this look bad" Shiro muttered, before making a break for Kyoujin. "No more pesky barrier! Gotta get my daggers!" Shiro exclaimed, though he wasn't above using something unexpected to get Kyoujin. He searched through his pouches for something he might be able to use. His hand felt around, before coming around a few rubber balls, which he decided to throw at Kyoujin's head.

He was sprinting now, the bright gleam of his daggers' steel visible to his eye as he overshot the sorceress. He dived, and managed to grab one, the other slipped out of his grasp. He aimed and threw, but he didn't expect it to do much. Barrier might be gone, but a badly aimed throw has all the chance in the world to miss.

[Genshuku]

And with this, the lights and shaking grew even more intense. It was reaching a breaking point!

Schala, freed from the protection, has but a few moments to make her move.

(MEANING: Only Schala may post next. Why? Because she was unable to really take action last post, and now she can. I wouldn't want to:

A. Let her slide
or
B. Give her no chance yet letting everyone else have one

So I have to let her. However, Augo and Nappy have taken their actions, so they can't. Now, do the action that seals the fate of this battle.)

(Seriously. Heaven or Hell, let's rock.)

[Schala]

Well, this was it. What Schala did would determine it all.

She picked up the katana that was conveniently nearby, aimed it at Kyoujin, and threw it like a spear.

After that, she raced for the wall and barely made it. She didn't know what would become of Yuugen and Shiro, or herself for that matter. Even if the katana hit, the rainbow beam would probably reach her*. There was no escape.

(*Lucky girl doesn't know it's her safe spot.)

[Genshuku]

Perhaps as soon as Schala touched the wall, most likely still looking at the wall, she heard a noise. A loud, roaring, searing, everything is being exploded noise. Everything on and above the magic circle became engulfed in a rainbow, high contrast light that rended and destroyed everything inside it, complete with even more shaking. If she turned around, she might be blinded, too. The katana and the daggers thrown at her were instantly vaporized as well, down the their own little atoms that made them up. They came close, but never touched Kyoujin.

Yuugen and Shiro, especially in their current condition, stood no chance against this searing beam, and were promptly destroyed. Luckily, the Mirror always keeps the 'character data' of the people that use it, so they were still 'alive', if you will. Just, not in the battle any longer.

But, Schala still was, and the battle was already over.

In using such a terrifying attack, Kyoujin had used up all of her magic, not to mention that such an attack, and she fell over instantly afterward.

A voice, matching that of the Mirror's (because it was, obviously) spoke right afterwards.

"Kyoujin is knocked out, due to stress and 0 magic power remaining! The victory goes to the challengers, in a close battle! Prizes will be given based on performance, and the after battle talk will take place after the special prizes are given! As for the people that....don't exist right now...Well, I'll just save what I just said to your character data, and resurrect you with it right away!"

What followed was a purple glow where they had met their maker, followed by the instant appearance of their bodies and souls, where they should be. They heard what the voice said of course, because it saved that data to their data.

"Anyway, the prizes are as follows! The parenthesis is for a little explanation on how you got it, by the way."

Well, they were all there, and they pretty much got their stuff back (Schala's katana appeared where she found it, and her 'drop' appeared in a pocket or other storage area, Shiro's stuff appeared back where he stored it) along with a sudden, refreshing feeling. As Yuugen and Shiro were already healed, it did nothing more than feel rejuvenating. For Schala, it full healed her, restored her magic, ect.

And Kyoujin was...still on the ground, but a faint blue glow surrounded her. She seemed to be waking up, but she just seemed far more calm.

*(Rainbow Drop: A one-use item. When held aloft with the intention to use it, it becomes the 'Rainbow Sword', an incredibly lightweight sword that also gives it's user flight when held, not to mention does a great deal of damage. Lacks ranged capabilities, but deals massive damage against 'dark' enemies. Only lasts one battle until it vanishes. Use it well. It's a little crystal, not a liquid. It's said that if you use 7, something special happens. And yes, that is the inventory description, and you KNOW what it does.)

Schala was just about to scream when she saw Yuugen and Shiro vaporize. How could she have let this happen to them? She should have tried to do something, she should have dragged them with her, she should have--

That is what Schala heard. And right after that, Yuugen and Shiro reappeared, unharmed.

Her relief was great. She ran up to Yuugen and hugged her with shouts of "You're alive!" "I thought you'd died!" "I'm so glad you're safe!"

She was about to hug Shiro too when all of a sudden something else came up in her mind:

The katana she had lost did indeed materialize in her hand, as did a rainbow-colored crystal that she knew the function of thanks to the Summoning Mirror.

After sheathing the sword and storing the crystal in pocket, she proceeded to hug Shiro with the same shouts of relief and joy.

Then she noticed Kyoujin. A blue glow was surrounding her and she was waking up, however she seemed unusually...calm.

"Are you alright?" Schala asked.

[Augen]

Yuugenmagan felt very strange... She couldn't remember anything between, well... Dying(?) and now. Yet she felt as though a thousand years had passed. Obviously, though, that couldn't be the case.

After being hugged by Schala, watching the screen, and gathering her "sanity", Yuugenmagan also turned her attention torwards Kyoujin.

"So you beat her, Schala?" Yuugenmagan licked her lips a little before stepping forward. "... Can we eat her?"

[Five-minute Cat Nap]

"Wheeeeeeeeew! That was wierd, but fun!" Shiro stated, now happily back in his erm, somewhat human form. His tail wagged slightly, as he took in his surroundings. Yuugen was fine, seemed to have been hugged. And- "SWEET! My stuff is back!" Shiro exclaimed, looking into his pouches, as well as grabbing his cloak. Now then, he heard his prize. "Ooooh, 600 credits huh? That's neat! Wonder what's available in the shop with those!" Shiro muttered to hmself, though he let out a bright smile.

"So we wooooooon! Nice!" Shiro exclaimed, moving over, and leaping onto Schala, giving her a glomp. Though, his eyes followed her gaze to look at... "Eh, Crazy Girl goes glowy once defeated? Wonder if she makes a good lamp!" Shiro stated.

[Genshuku]

And with that done...

Well, the room didn't unseal quite yet. There was a conversation to be had. Mainly, Kyoujin begging for forgiveness and trying not to be eaten. She woke up, but didn't stand. Her voice was almost pitiful.

"...No game over screen? But....I still can't get out of here...I don't wanna be eaten.....I'm poisonous...."

The glowing became brighter, and one could no longer see her through all the glow. Then, it got dimmer, and she looked like this now. Of course, she was still on the ground, and seemed to be almost fearing for her life.

"...I'm sorry for beating everyone up....I really, really am..."

Mercy? Y/N

[Schala]

Woah! Suddenly Shiro was leaping onto Schala and hugging her tightly.

She looked around and heard the whole conversation.

Schala glared at Yuugen. "No, we're not going to eat her," she said.

She then stepped up to Kyoujin. It wasn't easy with Shiro still on her but there were loose ends that had to be tied up.

"I forgive you," Schala said. "If there's anything I can do to help you, name it and it's done."

She held out her hands for the girl to grab so as to help her up off the ground.

Well, explainations seemed necessary now.

"This is the castle of the Goddess of Chaos Kaosu," Schala said. "She wants to destroy Gensokyo, so we're here to stop it from happening. Her shikigami informed us of it."

With any luck Kyoujin would want to team up with them. Judging by her strength she might be a really useful ally.

[Augen]

Yuugenmagan was just opening her fanged mouth as Schala spoke the words "No, we're not going to eat her". Yuugenmagan's mouth closed and she sighed, crossing her arms and looking away. Standing there silent and waiting.
