So those images in the fourth side table on the left side...Two of the three update on their own. Naturally those two are the month and the moon. However, I have to update the weather manually right now. Before I get to the point it's story time! If you don't want to read the story skip down to "So citizens of Gensokyo."
Once upon a time Kitten4u decided to open a Touhou site. She thought it would be nifty to add weather becasue of SWR, so she started learning JavaScript to learn how to do it. First she learned how to muck with time, so she was able to make a code that would update the month code automatically. This icon would be the same for everyone and it would remain the same until the month was over. She wanted to do the same with the weather, but it turned out that JaveScript wasn't capable of displaying random images that would be the same for everyone. So, instead of letting the weather be different for everyone she simply decided to change the weather manually. She used to do this twice per day, but then people started to say that was too fast, so she did it less. Then she got lazy and started to do it once per month if that.
A while later she noticed that no one really uses the current weather IC and it just seems to be there for decoration. She doesn't have a problem with this, but it is annoying that she has to manually change stuff that no one will use. So she is thinking that it might be better to turn the weather table into an emergency setting table that will give people ideas on what the setting should be like if they don't have their own ideas or are simply too indecisive to pick something. This means that people seeing different weather icons, and having a different icon come up everytime someone refreshed the page wouldn't be a problem.
So citizens of Gensokyo. What shall we do?
If the change is made the weather will change every time you refresh the page, and it will not be the same for everyone. If we leave it the same then I will update it when I feel like it and it will continue to not be updated very often.
