Death Note game
Game play:
- Starting out there are three different types of people.
- The first group and the largest is the International Police Organization. This is everyone including Kira. Their goal is to figure out who Kira is without getting killed off themselves.
- The next is Kira. Kira should be one or two people. Their goal is to kill everyone except himself without being caught. For anyone who is unfamiliar with Death Note, Kira kills people by writing his victim’s name in the Death Note. In this game, the name will just be sent to the Shinigami in a private message. If at any time the International Police Organization suspects the real Kira and has a validated reason for it, Kira loses. If there is more than one Kira, than the one that has been caught is out until the end of the current game.
- The last is the Shinigami. For game purposes, he is the judge. He decides when the International Police Organization has a valid reason to suspect whoever is Kira. He is the one who tells who Kira has killed (for the sake of keeping Kira’s identity unknown.) He gives permission to the International Police Organization for any elaborate traps they come up with or to any plots or ploys Kira has to throw the International Police Organization off his trail. He also makes any judgments that may not have been covered in the rules.
International Police Organization:
- You will RP like you would normally, but as a character who is trying to figure out who Kira is. If you die, just sit tight until the next game begins.
Kira’s Rules:
- In order to keep the game from ending immediately, Kira will only be allowed to kill one person every three days. If Kira doesn’t kill anyone for six days he is not allowed to kill two people off at the same time. He must kill someone, and wait at least three days before killing someone else.
- Kira automatically knows everyone’s name. Knowing the person’s face does not apply in this game.
- Any in depth ploys to throw the International Police Organization off his trail must be approved by the shinigami. Kira ma also set up traps that, if approved by the shinigami, will allow him to kill more than one person in three days.
Shinigami:
- The shinigami will be the same person who was Kira the round before. If you are the shinigami, you have the ultimate say on any questions that arise throughout the game and you are slightly addicted to apples. You are not allowed to give away whoever Kira is, and if you show too much favoritism you will be fired as the shinigami and someone who is dependable (or already killed by Kira, or both) will take your place. You are allowed to RP as long as it is only with Kira, unless of course Kira has made a ploy for someone else to touch the deathnote. If you do RP with Kira, don’t make it public. Just send messages to each other or something so no one else can see it.
For the sake of gameplay the rules may be changed at anytime.
