Hey I'm Ataru. I'm glad this isn't one of those places that requires you to make a new account for each character so everyone actually knows what to call one another outside of the characters they play. In the CB I'm SyaoranWolf, a throwback to one of those high school anime RPs I stuck with for the three days it took me to realize it was a high school anime RP (when they mix the word 'academy' in you can never quite tell sometimes...)

I greatly dislike stuff that's all based around drama and I am entirely convinced that Japanese anime/games/manga are (and should be) all about the moe. If it doesn't give me a nosebleed or make me want to hug it, what's the point? This is why a Touhou-based RP was deeply intriguing to me. I mean what could be better than combining a gigantic cast of attractive girls with traditional Japanese monsters as well as an intricate and branching storyline?

Nothing! That's what! Nothing!

Well, maybe not nothing but it's late so I'm just doing a stream of thought here.

Anyhow. I'll probably open up an OC first just to get used to things, though I'm already eyeballing at least one canon that I wouldn't mind playing as. I check my two RPs every day (this will be my third), and faithfully respond to any thread I'm involved in... my main weakness is creating threads so please give me lots of invites. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Um. Else? My favorite animes are the When They Cry trilogy (Higurashi, Higurashi Kai and Umineko), Figure 17, the Nanoha trilogy, Kanon, and Code Geass. Favorite manga artist is Mitsuru Adachi for his wonderful sports dramas. Video game I was most impressed by in my life: Suikoden 2 (I don't have what you'd call a favorite).

I tend to play young characters because it's easier to avoid drama that way and just concentrate on saving/destroying/having fun with the world.

Other than that, glad to have found this place and I hope it stays active for always for ever and no matter what.

Those multiple account things are silly. You would have to log in each time you wanted to post as someone, and when you have multiple characters and such it can get rather annying...plus it makes the member count lie, which is just wrong D:

Well, there's a lack of traditional japanese monsters, in the traditional sense of the word. All the monsters are also your said 'attractive girls', and they still want to eat you all the same <3

As for the animes, I've never seen any of them, and if asked I'd be too lazy to watch. I really am uber lazy D:

But you should be inpressed by Touhou, for certain. All the normal shooter games (maybe not the PC-98 ones, but who knows, and certainly not the fighters, that's done by a small group in addition to the following) are all made by one person: ZUN. ZUN is god, I swear <3

I tend to avoid 'unfun' drama, but tense moments and a few sensitive ones are coming up when I'm not too lazy to post~

The only question is if you stay active, and now that you've said that, you have to or else I'll stalk you >
