Saeryin saw the three small fireballs aimed at her. Well, this was pretty easy compared to the last one.
"Phantom Sign - Protective Shadow!"
Saeryin slid into the darkness, and she could not be seen. In reality there was a huge shadow surrounding her, but it couldn't be distinguished in this much light. The danmaku aimed at her rushed past where she was, and disappeared into the darkness.
Then Shara asked the girl a question. Castle in her basement - what? Wow. Then her house must be huge. Had this girl's mother mistaken her daughter for a princess?
Saeryin decided to listen in.

Flandre blinked. "I'm not a princess, but we're definitely noble blood!" She said. "Oneesama is the greatest vampire ever!" The little girl landed on the ground, seeming pacified for the moment, her curiosity quelled.
"But my house is all kinds of huge. Hallways that go on forever, a library the size of a city... I usually get lost whenever I leave my basement." She said, as if that was nothing odd at all.

Hojou remained where he was, listening in on what was being said earlier on. Apparently, there's some form of castle above them and all of this...including that pond he was swimming around in. Did indeed belong to this blond girl. Hojou didn't want to admit it, but it looks like this was her fort after all. Such a pity...and here he thought he had something special. Eh, oh well...maybe next time?
In anycase, all this talk this young girl was spouting got the axolotl curious on what her home, the supposed castle above ground. It sounded so large and spacious...that library she mentioned sounded like the perfect place to play the ultimate game of hide and seek in, and this was only of the rooms she mentioned in passing.
"Oi!" Hojou called out in an excited manner as he ran up to the group, particularly towards the vampire. "That castle of yours sounds sooo cool~! Do you think, maybe we could go play in it sometime?" Hojou asked to the vampire, his tadpole like tail twitching from the youthful excitement that was simply beaming from his small childish frame. However, a minute or two later, the sparkles in his eyes vanished and were immedieatly replaced with a look of embarassment, mainly towards him running up onto folks he knew absolutely nothing about and not even introducing himself properly. "Oh...uhm...I'm Hojou Gamatatsu. I was...sorta listening to all of you earlier, sorry."

"Uh-huh." Shara said, trying to sound almost as if she believed it, though it would likely be rather obvious that she didn't to anyone who was paying attention. The girl probably had an overactive imagination... Though it probably wouldn't be a good idea to anger her by making it TOO obvious that she didn't think what the girl was saying was true.
At this point, someone else, who appeared to be a young, obviously not human, boy, came rushing toward them out from the darkness... Which really was incredibly dark. As in, Shara hadn't even been able to see anything where the boy had come from, since she always noticed everything...
He started chattering on saying how cool the vampire girl's castle sounded while Shara just stared and Brian also would have been clearly weirded out if his face had been visible. After a moment though, the kid stopped, clearly embarassed, before introducing himself as Hojou Gamatatsu.
Shara said, "Hello Hojou. I'm Shara, and this is Brian." She moved out from in front of her jumpy friend to indicate him to the new boy who'd come from nowhere. She figured that Saeryin would introduce herself if she wanted... As would the vampire girl, hopefully.

Of course anyone who lived in a house that big must be noble, but Saeryin, like Shara, didn't totally believe the girl's story. She figured that the girl must only think it was so big due to the fact that she was so small.
Suddenly, a youkai boy came running at them. He appeared to be very interested in what the girl had built. After he introduced himself as Hojou Gamatatsu, Shara introduced Brian and herself, so it was Saeryin's turn.
"And I," she said, "am Saeryin, the Not Important Phantom Girl of Insanity*."
