First thing's first. This first thing has nothing to do with the poll. All the unfinished profiles are bugging me, esspecially since several of them have been sitting there for several months, so I'm going to purge the unfinished profiles at the end of the month. If the unfinished/not accepted profile was posted this month (IE after November first) it will not be purged. So, for those of you have have unfinished profiles make sure you either finish them or archive them on your comp.
Now we get to what the poll is asking. Everyone knows that Kitten4u is a total perfectionist when it comes to stuff and she wants people to have as much fun on her site as possible. That generally means she thinks way too hard about silly things. That silly thing this time is the profile template.
The reason I changed it in the first place was because I felt like I wasn't getting to know some of the characters well enough. But when I changed it I realized that filling in some of those details might be annoying because some people give me descriptive personalities etc. already.
So I'm thinking about giving people the option to choose between two different templates and giving people the option to mix and match those templates as they choose (really as long as it have the info I want I don't care what people do with their profile). I still have to work out some of the details, but this is basically how it would work. One would have this:
Name:
Age:
Race:
Gender:
Appearance:
Personality:
Abilities and Fighting Style:
History:
The other would look something like this:
Name:
Age:
Race:
Gender:
Appearance:
-Height:
-Weight:
-Skin:
-Hair:
-Eyes:
-Build:
-Clothing:
-Distingushing Feature:
-Other:
Personality:
-Positive Traits:
-Negative Traits:
-Likes:
-Dislikes:

-Desires:
-Habits and Quirks:
Weapons:
Abilities:
-Magic:
-Physical:
Fighting Style:
History:
So yeah, the second one is just the first one expanded for people that prefer filling out lists over writing paragraphs. It might also help some people that don't know what to say for certain things.
And as I said they can be mixed and matched. So, for example, if someone had a picture for appearance and they didn't feel like filling out all the appearance details they wouldn't have to; they could still post the picture and use the descriptive template.
So citizens of Gensokyo! Should I implement this?
