Name: Zeroa
Age: 157
Age Appearance: 16
Race: Kitsune
Gender: Male
Appearance: Picture
Personality: Resentful and unsure of himself, like a whiney teenager on most occasions. Due to his situation, however, he bears an incredible determination to do things once he sets his mind to it, and that in itself makes him appear often harmless and comedic when he tries to do something anti-social, like chase away intruders and such.
Abilities and Fighting Style: While he does possess the magical traits of his race, he cannot use them effectively, which, as explained later on, is the reason he was banished. He's quite honest when he doesn't often intend to be, and as such, has a hard time of tricking others with illusions or at least maintaining a facade he created.
Physically, however, he's quite nimble and agile, and uses cunning and ingenuity to come out on top of any engagement he finds himself in. He doesn't pack a punch, however, and find himself using inventions as an armament when things get hairy.
Strengths:
- Intelligent, Creative.
- Physically fit, nimble, and agile.
- Determination.
Weaknesses:
- Bitter, sarcastic attitude.
- Cares too much what people think (of course some may praise him as "sensitive to others")
- Cannot perform magic and illusions very well.
History:
His original name has long since been forgotten, having acquired the name "Zeroa" because of his ineptitude with magic from the people of his village. While he is in a sense "young", he's spent the majority of his existance in exile, after finally being banished from his village because of the aformentioned reason above.
For a while, he wandered around, ashamed of his existance and his inability to be more like a Kitsune, before finally settling down in the Bamboo Forest. There, he decided to bide his time and work hard to hopefully one day be able to return to his village. While he technically "can" do magic, he's horrible at it, and so, along with extensive practice, Zeroa began to delve into other forms of creativity, such as mechanics.
Were one to find his home in the forest, they would find a ramshackle structure with more metal, piping, and woodwork (to name a few) elements than seen outside the modern day japan. The whole hustle and bustle of his work underground can be heard miles off some days, and be ominously quiet on others. Zeroa prides himself on creating things that may help him gain acceptance to his former village, though most of his work and inventions end up serving no more purpose to him than to anyone else. He has managed to create a series of noteworthy things dealing with illusion, weaponry, and locomotion, namely flying apparatus and underwater exploration apparatus.
Note: His name Zeroa is the village term for "no use", given to him because of his obvious ineptitude.
