History:Percival was, of course, born on the moon. His parents were both historians, and Percival learned much from them of course. As he grew up, he followed in their foot steps. He chronicled the life of his friends', he wrote down what occurred with meticulous detail whenever he went on an outing, he even practiced his penmanship to make sure his handwriting was easily readable. Percival also read a variety of books, in order to learn as much as possible.
At the age of 60, Percival was gifted by his parents a special quill and book. A pen, while more convenient, was far less elegant, such it was that the quill was a fine one. The two were enchanted, of course. The quill was never to run out of ink, the book to always have a blank page open for writing. After gaining these two items, Percival's ambition to have information on, well, everything was born.
Percival began to make profiles on a variety of things, as well as copy in information on subjects already covered by books he had. By the age of 80, he had compiled a thorough list of things on just about everyone within the area he lived, as well as had other things chronicled. By the age of 270, he had learned of the world below, Gensokyo, finally taking his nose out of his chronicles long enough to decide to go there.
Percival wished to study these Youkai, of course. But one does not simply travel alone without protection. Thus, Percival began his training with the spear. Percival managed to acquire books on spear fighting through various means, and began to practice. His parents acquired the weapons for him, they were rather proud really. So, Percival set to work on that, as well as on Magic.
It took quite a few years, actually, before Percival's parents allowed him to travel to Gensokyo. He was age 304 when he had finally gotten enough expertise in both magic and spearcraft in order to sate his parents. As soon as he arrived, Percival dived into his studies. He took notes on the plants, the youkai, all manner of things for many years. He broke down food that he hadn't seen before into its base ingrediants and noted down the texture. This was the routine for many years, Percival wandering across Gensokyo noting down and compiling information on, well, anything he came across.
At the age of 340, Percival took up the flute. Having chronicled a variety of things, much of what he had left to do was try to compile information on the residents of Gensokyo, as well as to jot down observations on the weather. After 20 years, Percival was actually rather proficient, and even better, it helped him with his work. Percival was rather ecstatic, really, who knew Music would aid him so greatly in seeing different sides of people? Of course, at 360, he also learned how using different emotions also allowed him to learn more about a person.
Percival is now traveling, still compiling his information. There is much left to write, of course, but Percival will be ready to write, write, and write. Do be sure that you give him enough information about yourself to satisfy him, though, or you could find yourself in a most aggravating situation.

Blast Wind- As Percival attacks with his spear, a light buffer of wind covers it. Upon finishing the attack, wind rushes forward, striking the enemy with gale force winds.
Explosion Wave- Percival stabs forward with his spear, upon the tip's impact with an object, it will give a mild burn to the area of contact, before an explosion occurs in the air around the tip. The explosion will occur without contact with an object, albeit it will take several seconds, and the blast will be much less concentrated.
Feuer- Cauterizes any wounds Percival has using fire magic. Painful, but can be used to stop bleeding and burn off infection quickly.
