Age Appearance: mid-20's

History:
Rikako was always a good-natured Gensokyan. She kept to herself, always following her beliefs like any good girl should... Problem was, most people shunned those kinds of beliefs. Science. Those who hear of it often claim it to be a plot against the gods. Rikako, rather, whishes to use science to understand the universe. "Why can't people see that..."
One day, the opportunity arose. The appearance of some mysterious ruins, which even sages seemed to know nothing about. Obviously, it must be something they didn't understand: Science. Many magicians strove to learn the secrets of these ruins, and many a magician fell into it's trap. When Rikako found herself at the core of the machine, her assumptions proved true. A scientist and her assistant awaited, with a variety of caged Gensokyans they planned to take with them upon leave.
Rikako learned much from these intruders. That they come from a world governed not by magic, but by science. That their machines rely on a source of power known as "Nuclear Fusion"... And most notably, that they would grant her one wish, provided that she could defeat them in danmaku combat. Should Rikako lose, however, she would be taken to the other world and used as a guinnea pig.
... Rikako lost, and was caged just like the other Gensokyans who tried to battle the foreigners. Rikako thought it only a matter of time until she'd find herself tied to a table with all sorts of machines poking into her... Instead, the scientists' leave was interrupted by the arrival of the maiden from the shrine, who came to defeat the foreigners in return for an artificial maid. Rikako's hear broke as she watched science once again fall under the foot of divine energy...
Fortunately though, the maiden neglected to notice that her intrusion provided some of the imprisoned Gensokyan's enough time to escape their cages. Rikako included. She proceded to continue her life in silent research.
Then, as years passed things changed. The rise of Yukari, the appearance of the Moriya Shrine... It seemed as though more subjects were pouring in from the outer world. At first, though, nothing had happened to alarm Rikako until word got out that Kanako had gifted a youkai with Nuclear Fusion, the same power Rikako had almost acquired a decade ago. This infuriated Rikako, but as the youkai in question was a resident of Hell Rikako dared not assault. Yet, at least.
Some hope of revenge, however, came with another agent sent to Gensokyo by the scientific community. This time, however, the agent found Rikako, claiming that he was sent to study the dimensional structure of the border as well as test out artificial Akasha magic created using scientific knowledge of magic. Rikako, being a scientist, seemed to Augen like a good choice as an ally, and offered his services as a mercenary in return for assistance in studying Gensokyo. She agreed, but decided that it'd be best to wait a little while before sending him to Hell. He was only human, after all.

- Her magic is very powerful. However, she chooses not to use train it due to her disliking of magic. As a result, her magic is pretty much limited to basic spells (energy shots, lasers, barriers, ect), though they pack more of a punch than when used by most spellcasters.

- Rikako has a pair of jet-thrusters that she sometimes wears, gifting her with the ability of flight.
- Possesses a variety of advanced machinery, including a stun-gun, a radar, a spybot (looks like a little floating eye), and various tools.

- Is a very good mechanic, skilled at building and repairing machines.
- Can "summon" machine-based attacks, such as laser drones.
- Her "spell cards". (See below)
- Rikako has a pair of jet-thrusters that she sometimes wears, gifting her with the ability of flight.
- Fighting style: Rikako prefers to use her machines in combat rather than her magic. As a result, most of her so-called "spell cards" use technology rather than magic. Said spellcards include:
Tech sign - Round Gear: Rikako releases several round objects, which spawn around Rikako and then begin to do an intertwining orbit as they move forward. These don't only harm enemies, but can also protect Rikako from enemy attacks.
Tech sign - Homing Gear: Rikako releases a bunch of gear shaped machines into the air, some of which home in on enemy targets as they plummet to the ground below, bending in path to strike Rikako's enemies.
Tech sign - Pincer Shot: Rikako summons several turrets, which shoot spread danmaku inwards at a point, which upon passing form a very large spread expanding from the central point.
Science sign - Science Believer: Rikako is washed in the holy light of science, as she releases an outward blast of various machines and chemicals, which include large gears and fast spread danmaku, which she releases from eight elemental orbs which orbit around her.
Magic Sign - Magic Science: Rikako rarely uses this technique, not only because of her disliking of magic but also because it gives her almost everything you hear about in the petpo-bismol commercials, minus the pepto-bismol. Pretty much she combines chemical formula with magic to create a large beam, similar to the master spark but with half its energy being capable of penetrating anti-magic fields. - Strengths
- Very powerful offensive abilities.
- Innovative machines and tools.
- Very quick and evasive.
- Very powerful offensive abilities.
- Weaknesses
