In Gensokyo the names they use for the months are different. For giggles, I decided to include what these names translate to (thanks to the Touhou Wiki for providing this).
April - uzuki, Deutzia Month
May - satsuki, Planting Month
June - minazuki, Waterless Month
July - fuzuki, Book Month
August - hazuki, Leaf Month
September - nagatsuki, Long-lasting Month
October - kannazuki, Godless Month
November - shimotsuki, Frost Month
December - shiwasu, Priest-running Month
January - mutsuki, Affection Month
February - kisaragi, More Clothes Month
March - yayoi, Sprouting Month
In Gensokyo new years is April first instead of January first. The calendar is still a lunar calendar, so other than new years everything else is the same as our calendar.
