Genshuku was carelessly flying over the sky, wondering about her next adventure, which seemed to be far away. Nothing far too interesting was found in her other adventures, maybe she found ruins at one time, sometimes little treasure, but nothing of importance. She had left home after being there far too long: It was boring, she was constantly made fun of, (like all people with special powers that don't use it to beat the crap out of everyone) and she was adopted (and the parents hated her. So she did what she thought best: get her backpack steal her parents money, buy a good dress, some food, and get out. But before she actually got out, she passed a weapon shop. Seeing as she wasn't coming back anyway, she used her gravity power to nab the spear and was off like the devil himself. She calls that the best day of her life, 2 years ago, but that's going to change really soon.

And sure enough, she kept flying, but forgot all about that full moon. When it is full (or very close to full) she loses that power, and is unable to fly around. Yeah, she's gonna fall.

"Thattreeistofarawaydangitgoodbyecruelworldwaitisthataship?--"
She falls straight through the hull of the ship, strangely soft, and cushions her landing. (It was still hard...)
"Owwww...ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow....Wait a second, I didn't die!

She looks around and sees a few things that catch her interest in this wreck: A book, a slightly burnt book, a more burnt book, and a screen, with buttons. Being the book person, she reads the unburnt book first.
"Hm, looks interesting. Let's see...Data...Reimu (shrine maiden...next), Marisa(a witch? hopefully this book is not a lie), Mima(a ghost? why described as a human looking thing though? maybe it's different over there), Ellen(eternally young, sounds nice), Kotohime(A princess police officer? that's what I'm talking about), Kana(poltergeist, sounds lovely though), Rikako(apparently a scientist), and it has a section for the crew too: Chiyuri (assistant professor) and Yumemi(professor and captain.)

"Well that was a good read. Now what about that one..."
She picks up the other book, and reads...
"Something about revenge to the academy...Gensokyo...magic...ship...borders...!"
Now she knows where she is, a ship that will probably take her to this Gensokyo place, but why is the ship a wreck? She reads the last book...
"More of the same...something about a paradox...she can't steer the ship? Hopefully they got out alright...not that it matters now."
Her reading crave was satisfied, and she does what any curious person would, turn on that monitor. (or perhaps try, but to her suprise, it did)

She tries again.

And then the whole machine starts to make noise...
"Come on, take me somewhere, I don't care, just as long as it isn't like home."
And then it teleports.
The Ruins of Ruins, Deep Inside Gensokyo...
Well that story can't be told here, can it? That was the border (or rather just outside it, but in the end that IS the border)
Her story truly begins now, inside the ruins where a battle was fought several years ago...something like a competition really, and then some
