They finally arrived at the shrine. Aya had gotten some decent pictures of this girl to use in her article, and she knew that the chances of anything bad happening to this girl at the shrine were very slim. Put simply, she really wasn't her problem anymore. She hated to put it that bluntly, but that really was the best way to say it.

"Here we are," she smiled. Aya looked around the shrine for a bit, but it looked like the slacker shrine maiden wasn't here right now. "Reimu must have gone out. I don't think she'll mind if you stay here. People come to the shrine all the time."

Aya streached her obsidian wings and prepared to fly back to the tengu village on Youkai Mountain, but before she left she realized she was forgetting something.

"Before I leave, is there anything else you need?"

It was strictly a common courtasy thing. Aya honestly didn't care if she needed something else, but she felt like she should ask. Of course if she did need something else asking meant that she would suddenly be obligated to fufil that need to the best of her ability. Really, she just hoped that she didn't need anything else.

"No thank you, I'm fine. Thanks for bringing me here. "

She finally starts to ease up, things should be going uphill from here.

"Twilight Spark."

What happens next, is that the sky is pierced by a huge yellow laser, ripping it apart and causing a fair amount of noise, making the area around glow fairly bright and a shade of red.

Gen's spear thrashes around uncontrollably (even with minor gravity hold) and eventually, the 'entity' breaks free.

Mima.

And Mima says: "Ok, for not being cooperative, you can die first <3"

Added note: She knows nothing about this spell card system, and isn't likely to listen unless she is stopped here. She isn't planning on dieing anyway, so it's not like she's going to be persuaded otherwise. Battle to the finish, better win, spell cards are null.

"Lalala!"

She hummed on her way back to the Shrine. She didn't expect anyone to visit her on a Saturday, well, actually - that was wrong. She knew someone would probably come by - like always, un-announced. Reimu particulary didn't care about people, ghost, Youkai and other beings stopping by the Shrine. But lately it seemed a troubled feeling had been driving poor little Reimu nuts. She kept telling herself it was nothing and went out for some ice cream. Sweet, sweet ice cream. It was a piece of heaven to Reimu - she barely had time to herself lately.

"Vanilla. Yuuum!"

She squeeled - happily, before taking a long lick at her ice cream cone. "I don't care what other's say, this has to be the best flavor - ever!" she exclaimed, before coming upon the steps leading up to the Shrine. But Reimu had noticed two different presences, oh great. "Waah!?" a flashed of light seemed to glow from ahead. With out a second thought, Reimu dropped her ice cream and rushed up the steps. Sliding against the gray pavement, before heading for the back of the Shrine.

"What's going on?!" she questioned, before stopping - but as she tried to stop. She so happened to slide right into a tree. Splat - sliding down the tree, Reimu shook her head. "Ow, when did this get here?" she asked - herself of course, but the tree had been there for years now. She was just being klutzy. "Hi, hi. I'm Reimu, I'm the maiden of the Shrine, welcome!" she hoped back up onto her feet, waving her hand at Mima and the other person. "And it's not nice to threaten people, Mima!" she scolded, pointing her finger at her accusingly.

Reimu, miko of the shrine, had arrived just in time to save Gen, who was in a heap of trouble. After all, Mima was not exactly in the best of moods, and was feeling particularly wrathful. So, she pointed the weapon at Gen and said: 'Twilight Spark' once again, at the area Gen was standing.

Gen knew her limits. No way in hell was she pushing that away anytime soon. Especially not right after waking up. So she moved out of it's way, using both her own strength and her gravity power in order to (just barely) get out of it's way.

Well, that's a big crater. In front of the shrine too.

Afterwards, Mima quickly told Reimu that: "I know, though it isn't nice keeping me locked in a weapon for several years either" and absent mindfully got out the orbs* and proceeded to shoot rapid blasts from each, while the orbs spun, paying more attention at what she was going to do after this.

Mima seemed to be in a bad mood and was blaming her for something. Reimu didn't remember sealing Mima away in a sword. Actually, she was pretty sure she didn't seal Mima away. "Mima!" She yelled out - worried about her actually. Mima may have a temper - she could be even considered evil at times. But Reimu felt that she could possibly change Mima into a better person/ghost. "I wasn't the one wh---" She was interrupted by the big bang - she had attempted to destroy the other girl obviously. Her eyes widen in shock, before seeing the girl get out of the way safely.

But this matter was far from over - Mima probably felt betrayed by Reimu right now. How could she get Mima to understand? To believe her? Reimu wouldn't seal Mima away! She wanted to be friends with Mima. So this is why Mima had suddenly vanished from the Shrine and hadn't been around to bug her. Now she understood why Mima was absense - she would probably be ticked off if she was sealed away for years in a sword too!

"Mimaa!" The true fight had started now, Mima started throwing random blasts around the yard - destroying half of the Shrine basically. Reimu was running around in a distorted manner - dodging every which way. Trying to avoid the blasts that Mima was shooting off. One hitting her shoulder - blood dripping down her arm. "MIMAAAAA!" Reimu screamed out, she had to get the other girl out of here and fast. Otherwises, she might get hurt during this. "Mima! I know your hurt! I know you feel betrayed!" she yelled, still running around from the orbs blasting around the place.

"But I didn't do it! It wasn't me who sealed you!"

She tried to explain, but it probably fell on deaf ears. Slipping into her kimono's sleeves - she got out spirit wards. Rushing herself around and around the Shrine. Her arm stilled injuried - sliding over to "Gen". She whispered a simple request and went on her way.

"Distract her."

You obviously couldn't stay in one spot for very long or you would of been blasted by the orbs.

Mima was not in the best of moods. Now that she has drawn blood, she gave a sadistic smile, almost acting like her old self again, only slightly older than that, when Reimu first met her. Then, she was hungry for power. Now, she was hungry for revenge against when had never happened. (but she didn't know that second part)

When Reimu had said that she knew how she felt, Mima almost laughed. How would she know? She simply can't. When she said that she didn't do it, of course she said that. To avoid the brutal beatdown she very much deserved and was now going to get. So the words indeed fell on deaf ears, as she got out the wards. Those tend to be used for, of course, warding things like ghosts and demons and the like. Of course. Ghosts. What's next, Evil Sealing Circle?

Reimu had whispered her simple request, and Gen was all to happy to help, giving a quick nod to Reimu. She indeed did know her limits, and these blasts were far far easier to redirect than the spark, and so she dodged some, moving opposite Reimu's direction, and redirected some more at Mima. Though the orbs took some hits, none had broken and she was hit just a little. Though, that was enough to get her attention, along with the fact she was moving her shots out of the way, to the point she knew the battle would be harder with her in the way. So of course...

"Get out of my WAY."

She then sent the orbs around Gen, which circled and came closer, got tighter, and would ultimately converge on her. But, a forceful repelling gravity field slowed that down considerably, long enough for Reimu to do something if she had it planned. Plus, the orbs were no longer in the way.

With the request heard, she could only hope Gen would help. By the looks of it, Gen had decided to distract Mima. This was a good time to think of something - while Gen made her way the opposite way of Reimu, as the two kept dodging the blasts from the orbs circling around Mima. Gen seemed to send the blasts more at Mima, then anything else. She was doing her best to help Reimu stop Mima from destroying them both! Redirecting was a pretty good idea, it would probably help in the long run.

"Blinding sign!"

Reimu screamed out, as she changed her direction of running. Now she ran directly at Mima - while the orbs were distracted by Gen. She was going to bind Mima for a few hours - to make her cool down, or to at least try to talk to her. If Mima kept it up, she would have to seal her away or at least her powers. Charging up her power with in her hands, a light shock went around the wards with in Reimu's hands.

"Mima! Calm down!"

She yelled, but knowing Mima, she wouldn't listen to anything - unless she was under lock and key. Reimu throw the wards at Mima in attempt to bind her there. If the wards hit, they would automatically shock her and keep her from moving, if they didn't hit the mark. She would have to come up with another blinding attempt, before the last solution, which would lead Reimu to sealing Mima away or her powers into something. Either way, this was gonna be a difficult task.

Well, Mima heard what Reimu said, knew what was coming, and dodged the cards as the orbs continued to circle around Gen, getting closer but not quite ever reaching.

And then the cards hit.

Wait, what?

Gen noticed that Reimu threw the cards and of course they were going to be the 'big hit' or whatnot so of course Gen would not let the 'big hit' go to waste. So she decided to help out for that attack, and as Mima dodged them, Gen prepared to gravity push them behind her as soon as they all went by.

And Mima totally fell for it. It would have been nicer if Gen wasn't around to ruin things quite so much. But now that she couldn't really move, she could do nothing, the shots stopped coming from the orbs, as they vanished as well. Gen, knowing better, did nothing while she was down. After all, the point wasn't to beat her up, right?

Of course, now that everything else was stopped, Mima's ears should be open, right?

Reimu's hope was shattered once the cards went on pass Mima. Gosh, this was a total fail, maybe she should of been a bit quieter on the spell casting. But if that didn't work - what would happen to Gen? She was surrounded by the orbs that were closing in on her. . . Reimu turned her attention towards Gen - hoping she wasn't smashed up. All the sudden - the orbs stopped and started to fade away. Was Mima giving up? Hopefully - her attention went back to Mima.

"Huh? Wha?"

She was shocked to see the wards on Mima - causing her to freeze up. Woot, now Reimu could enjoy her ice cream! Looking back to her hand that was -suppose- to be holding her ice cream, realizing it wasn't there. A horrified scream echoed through the air - as Reimu fell to her knees in disappointment. "My ice cream!" She pouted - obviously sadden by this. She had spent time in the sun getting that ice cream.

"This is all Mima's fault!"

She hoped up onto her feet and started to glare over at Mima's direction - before stomping her way over to the girl. She was obviously ticked off. "You made me drop my ice cream! You so owe me, Mima!" she demanded, placing her hands onto her hips. Her right foot tapping against the pavement. "I didn't seal you up." she said - in a serious and angry type tone. She had enough of Mima being a spoiled little ghost.

Wait, what?

It seemed as though Reimu was complaining about the ice cream, but...no, she better not be complaining about the ice cream. There were...other things to complain about. Like the wrecked shrine.

Gen noticed that Reimu knew Mima's name before she said it (which did have a reason, Gen just didn't know it yet) but decided to wait for that explanation, which was needed.

Mima answered her ice cream accusation with an entirely different answer: "Yes, I'm not really sorry for destroying the heck out of your scrap pile of a shrine."

As for the 'sealing up' answer, Mima noticed that if she actually DID do it, she would have done it again by now. So, she was finally believed. But the question was: "Well then, the question now would be who did? Not that you would know the answer to that question..."

All this trouble over nothing - Reimu wasn't even involved with her being sealed away. Now how to punish Mima for ruining her Ice Cream and Shrine. Reimu eye'd Mima with an angry expression upon her face. "You are in so much trouble, you ruined my Ice Cream and my Shrine!" she scolded - she wasn't pleased with this whole out come. "You owe me, Mima!" she exclaimed - raising her index finger to point at her accusingly. A small sigh escaped her lips - before she turned to Gen. Who was this girl exactly? A friend of Mima or something?

"By the way, who are you?" she asked, wondering. She was the one who brought Mima here, right? Or so she thought, but what was Mima sealed in anyways? "And what did they seal you in, Mima?" turning her attention back to the rotten ghost. Her shoulders shrugged to Mima's question. She had no clue about this situation - actually. This was the first time she had even heard about Mima being sealed away. "I sort of wondered why you weren't here bugging me." obviously - this was the reason. "You're right, I don't know who did it." she replied in an uninterested voice, this was Mima's problem, not hers.

"You have to help me clean this place up." Reimu ordered - crossing her arms over her chest. "Oh, yeah." while remembering Gen's help - she turned to face Gen now. "Thank you for the help." she was basically grateful for Gen's help during the battle, with out Gen's help she would probably still be battling the angry ghost.

Reimu's scolding only irritated Mima: She didn't even want to be here anymore she wanted to figure out who the hell sealed her up and then do generally whatever. But no, first she had to clean up the stupid shrine. But as she was currently outnumbered, she couldn't actually beat them up for the sole purpose of getting out of here. It was a shame. Mima let out a sigh and said: "Fine, fine, I'll help you. Though it's not because I want to."

When Reimu turned and asked a question of Gen, she answered: "Oh, I'm Genshuku, though I can be called Gen for short. Pleased to meet you~"

And when she turned back and asked Mima what she was sealed in, she pointed at Gen's weapon, which looked exactly like her own: "That, though it hardly matters now."

When Reimu thanked Gen for her help, she simply said: "Your welcome~".

It was to be expected from Mima; her bitter tone wasn't anything new. She seemed to always be in a grumpy mood - oh well, it couldn't be helped. But it was only right that Mima cleaned up the place, besides, it was her fault after all. Causing such a fuss over something Reimu didn't even do. Ruining her ice cream and Shrine for that matter. Reimu only flicked her wrist - in a waving motion; basically saying for Mima to get started. She wasn't going to wait all year for her Shrine to be fixed.

Her fingers went up to her earlobe - tugging at the edge. A small yawn escaping her lips, eyes shifting over to "Gen." "Wanna go get some ice cream? I know a nice little shop, it should be still open." smiling happily, she skipped over to the stairs leading from the Shrine - before glancing back at Mima. "When I get back, I expect some work to be done!" she huffed, still sort of disappointed about everything that had happen.

"And later on, I guess I'll help you find out who was behind it. If I'm not busy."

She probably wouldn't be busy, but she was lazy and hardly liked doing anything that involved labor.

Mima didn't want to do this, but decided that she would just get revenge later or something, and went to work, with wind magic to brush away the lightweight rubble first. A sad day it was, even if she did get out.

Gen's response to ice cream was of course going to be positive. The place looked like it was feudal Japan or something, but hey, it had ice cream. Ice cream was always good, especially after that battle.

"Sure~"

Mima heard what Reimu said, and responded in a quite irritated voice: "Yes, yes, I know...", and the other comment was met with an inner thought: She really never changed, all this time...though her wear was slightly different and everything seemed to be off color. But, that could just be her mind. It's easy to lose parts of it when your trapped for so long.
