A Hopefully Uneventful Trip (Open)

Rika finally got to her destination, Youkai Mountain.
In reality, compared to the previous events, it was pretty peaceful.
Now, where is the food...
....
There just had to be something wrong. There's ALWAYS something wrong.
"You didn't happen to bring any food, did you?"

(It says (Open), but good luck not getting shot. ;P)

Issun sighs, "The food I had was in that fire... Along with my house..." He was thinking what a waste that venison was, also the tree house that he made. It took three days to make it as nice as it was; only to catch on fire, as he was distracted by Rika. That is why he was with her now.

"Will we need to hunt then?"

[Genshuku]

"Would seem we have no other choice than to do that...well, hunting should be easier in this thing, right? Only catch is that we are looking for food near Youkai Mountain...but that can't be too much of a problem, because this is the Evil Eye Sigma! "

Mood: Irritated but Happy

He frowns at the idea, "Didn't the weapons on that vaporized the fairies? Wouldn't that mean if you hit something, it disappears?"

He holds his stomach, in an attempt to make it stop rumbling. "Anyways, don't Youkai live around here? And didn't you say they would kill us?"

[Genshuku]

"Yeah, but those were the vaporizing weapons. I have a few that won't vaporize, so that would take care of them. And not to worry about the youkai, even they can't beat up this thing. I had once used this on someone in the way...almost got her too, but she was WAY better than when I used the Flower Tank...but a few enhancements here and there (and her lack of training, I heard she was lazy) I could probably rough her up.....I'm rambling. The short version: Youkai take more hits than the fairies and give more of a fight back, but they aren't getting through. Let's see...Eye Blast, Danmaku Spreadshot, Twirl Shot...Stun Blast. I think that works. I wonder if youkai are edible..."

He looks at the tank, "Won't everything get scared away? It's not exactly quiet or stealthy." His stomach growls again, making him whine, "I don't care, please find something. Please."

He couldn't stand being so hungry, it was pure agony.

[Genshuku]

....It seems as he has a point there, it wasn't exactly made for being stealthy...

"Well dang....you have a point there...well, that's no good. Looks like we will need a plan B, and I don't have any of those..."

Rika is at a loss for words, excuse the shortness of it all.

"...should have built that cloaking device add-on..."

The hunger spurs an idea, "Can it aim long distances? If we go in the air, high enough where nothing we can be heard, then we can just aim, shoot something, then land and make it into food."

Please tell me she can do that? His plan is modified from what he normally does. Takes a spear, go up a tree, and throw it into the prey.

"Perfect~ I still have the magic touch, right? Aim..."
"Aim..."
".....There, a deer. Steady....."
Rika was glad the boy had figured something out, and now, she could make up for having accidentally contributed to his house burning down. Plus, she was hungry.
"And...fire."
She fired a rather quick, discreet blast from the sky, hitting the deer dead-on, knocking it unconscious, for an easy actual kill. Of course, most of her other weapons either caused a fire, massive bangs, or other things that would go overkill to the target. She landed the vehicle in order to reap the reward of dinner.
"Of course, the stun weapon only stuns, and my other weapons would cause things like massive fires, damage, and other overkill things. So I just need you to land the finishing touches and then, eat."

After the deer was hit, he didn't bother to pay attention to Rika. That was because he was looking for his tools, "No! They were in the house! If I don't have my tools, I don't know how I'm going to cut up the deer." His voice screamed out the frustration, then quieting down. Tears came to his eyes, "I worked hard on everything! I made the tools, the house, the food... I've been out there, by myself, doing everything."

Though he wasn't trying to cry, he was sad for all the wasted effort he had put in. He intended to live in there for the rest of his life. That was how determined he was in running away and building his shelter. He wanted to shout at Rika for distracting him; if he had watched the fire it would've never happened. Why did she come! She had to keep me away from dinner! I hate her! I hate her! She shouldn't have came! His muscles tensed, bite his jaw shut, and eyes filled with fury.

Luckily, Rika didn't have a stupid passenger. But... But, I forgot to put stones around the fire... I didn't have to go looking for her... I'm the idiot... His muscles relaxed, as his face stared at the floor. He took several deep breaths, to get rid of the feeling. It wasn't working that well, but he felt calm enough to ask, "What are we going to use to prepare dinner?"

Luckily for Issun, Rika was a mechanic. She could probably build a tool for cutting so very easily. Heck, she could build this kid a metal house if she was bored enough. (But he didn't mention that, so...) Matter of fact, she was pretty bored. She wasn't particularly ready to face Reimu yet, and she needed to do some improving. And if there's a reason to build something, she might as well. Though she didn't respond at first when he screamed (she wasn't going to respond to THAT) she did feel like responding to the other thing he said.

"I could probably make something for that. Shouldn't take long, if I don't already have something else that would work. But first we have to land~"

Descent, followed by landing.

"Really?" The boy was skeptical of her, as she didn't seem like the responsible type. Looking around the tank, "I'm guessing you have it on you." as he didn't spot anything for carving. "Also, what are we going to do about a fire? I don't have my flint with me. Then are we going to set up camp or sleep in here?"

Issun was asking a lot questions, as he wanted to make sure they have all the bases covered for spending the night safely. Though he guesses it's safer in the tank, he rather not sleep in it. It's small and the seats weren't comfortable.

Well, she wasn't quite the responsible type, but she certainly knew how to take care of herself at least a little bit. After all, she didn't live with anyone else. Such would be the total reliance on a person's whims, which wasn't the best thing ever.

And it turns out she had a tool for it all along. Though not normally used to this purpose, she always kept a knife around. One would ask why, and one would get an answer of: Because. "Oh right! I forgot I had this thing...because I never really used it...." And she pulls out the small case, followed by the knife. Though of course, she didn't hold it menacingly, as that would just be wrong.

"You mean to ask how to start a fire? With this thing? It would be better to ask how I don't accidentally burn down the forest with it~"
Well yeah.
"I can fire controlled shots, don't worry. I'm pretty good at that~"

The same way that they had gotten in before opened up, and because ladies first, Rika got out first. Well, they had landed.
