The trees swayed to the midnight air, it was cold, possibly too cold for any warm blooded creature. Even most of the trees couldn't stand the weather, there was one tree that happened to wither away and die. Why the other trees continued to grow and get rid of their lives when the seasons changed, this tree never went through such a process. It seemed to had just....given up.... Ryuuoshi didn't care much for the change in weather. Things came and then they went by. People walked through this place to only get to their true destination. But Ryuu didn't know where his true destination was, he would go somewhere but didn't stay. He would always find himself wondering off to somewhere else. He wasn't known anywhere and he'd like to keep it that way. Never wanting to stay in one place at a time.
Ryuuoshi was a vampire and he has been a vampire for many years now. He has seen many things and learned many things. Even a few things of the different races that traveled through these parts. So many years had gone by Ryuu had forgotten how he turned vampire or if he was born this way, he doubted it though. He didn't mind the silence. It was calming, though it bothered him that he was alone. Letting out a light sigh, the vampire looked at the sky, eying the moon with narrowed eyes. Oh how special that large star thinks he is, amongst the other smaller stars he thinks himself the best. Ryuuoshi rested his back amongst the dead tree as he breathed in the cold air. Folding his arms over his chest. "What now..." He muttered to himself, closing his eyes for a moment as he listened to his surroundings.

It was winter, and it was cold out. This made a certain ice fairy very happy. Cirno loved the cold and thrived during the winter. In fact, she needed considerably less sleep during the colder seasons, so even though it was late at night Cirno was still awake. She had just been flying around freezing random objects just to see what would happen when she noticed a figure standing amoungst the trees.
Fairies were very easily amused, and harmless for the most part, and Cirno was no different. She was stronger than most fairies, but she still couldn't be considered a real threat unless that person happened to be extremely weak to ice and the cold. Fortunatly for this person she had already randomly attacked someone earlier today, and wasn't in the mood to do it again. Instead, she would mearly prank this...Well she couldn't tell if it was a human or a youkai, but it didn't really matter to her.
Cirno snuck up on her target as best she could. Her wings buzzed as she moved, and she couldn't help but giggle quietly to herself. This was going to be fun. She used one of her favorite skills known as "Perfect Freeze." Several brightly colored orbs that looked like hailstones rained out from under her. As they feel the suddenly lost their color and looked like ordinary hail. They didn't move like ordinary hail, but Cirno hadn't thought that far. She honestly thought that this guy might think that they were ordinary hail stones and touch them. Touching them would give any normal human frostbite. It would do the same to most youkai (unless they were as strong against the cold as she was), but it wouldn't be nearly as severe.

Ryuuoshi opened his eyes and narrowed them lightly when hearing an annoying buzz and a light giggle. The silent moment was broken by this unknown newcomer. If this newcomer was trying to approach him un-noticed her attempt had sadly failed. He stood up straight from his leaned position and turned his head to look towards the direction of the buzz from the corner of his eye. He blinked and looked at the hailstones, or what seemed to be hailstones. He sighed in annoyment and looked back towards the blue headed girl who seemed to be a fairy of some type. "Who are you? what do you want?..." He said as he turned his eye contact back to the heavenly bright moon, obviously this fairy wanted something if she didn't then she wouldn't have approached him.
He carried a empty body, guess when some called him dead weight they actually meant it. He became curious to if this fairy knew what he actually was. If it was that obvious to tell him apart from a human/youkai to a vampire or did she remain clueless. He waited for his questions to be answered, looking from the corner of his eye to the hailstones, if they really were hailstones. What were they? why did she summon them. Ryuu looked at the blue headed girl. There had to be a catch. He thought. Curosity bringing a very light interest to mind. He forest green eyes continued to glance at the girl.

"Uwaaa?" Cirno squeaked when she was 'unexpectedly spotted.'
She did what almost any fairy would do, she flew away as fast as her little wings would take her. Cirno didn't actually fly out of the area since she still wanted to see what this guy would do. Instead, she darted behind the trunk of a nearby tree and poked her head to the left of the trunk just enough so that she could see this person. She thought that she was well hidden, but it was pretty easy to spot her.
Why was she here? Well, that certainly seemed obvious. She came her to freeze stuff, more specifically him. However, it didn't seem like he was going to touch one of those little hail stones much to her displeasure. So this begged a question. Did she stay hidden, or did she try something else? Well, first she had to stop being distracted by the pretty ice patterns that were forming on the area of the tree she was touching, but then she would think about that. Cirno's little blue eyes peaked to the left of the tree trunk again. He still wasn't touching her hailstones, and she was getting sick of just watching him.
"The frost patterns on this tree are pretty~" she knew that she was the one that created them, and she did enjoy bragging about her work. "I am Cirno," she continued to poke the tree and make more frost patterns. "Freezing frogs was getting boring, so I wanted to see what happens when you freeze other things."
Cirno had some fond memories of summer. Freezing flowers and cherry blossoms was a lot of fun, but there weren't many flowers, and no cherry blossoms bloomed at this time of year. So, it was time to explore and find other things to freeze. In this case, it was this guy and this tree, though the tree was proving to be far more amusing.

((Mysterious Figure: Hm.... We seem to have lost. Ok, we need time to regroup. Let the fairy go...for now. And leave the...oh, a report? Let's see...a traitor? I can't let this end too soon, it's against my plan. I have to antagonize them long enough, and gather the fire from that girl, it's a perfect source of chaos energy. That and the temper of people here, and their strength...)) ((Commander: You don't mean this place is...)) ((Mysterious Figure: Perfect. For my plan. I might have to do good things later to make up for this 'bad' streak I gotta go though. Ho hum.))
Honoo had gotten her rest from the previous fight (she slept in a nice campfire she found in the Forest of Magic), and was keeping most of her heat inside her (and on her surface) because she was rather cold. (It's winter, and therefore, cold.)
Then she noticed somewhat of an extra-chilly breeze. Normally, she wouldn't go toward cold winds, but this is abnormally cold winds. If it is just the wind, she would probably wonder how it got so cold...otherwise, burn the source. That'll make it warmer. Anything to make it warmer.
"Cold....cold........cold.......I....HATE....THE...COLD....."
(Of course, she can't see Cirno or Ryuuoshi yet, she is just merely heading over there. She will probably run into one of them soon. If it's Cirno...well...oh dear...)

Ryuuoshi blinked several times in confusion when she flew away. He sighed in annoyance and looked back towards the sky, watching as a small clutter of clouds blocked part of the moon. The silence returned but h knew it wouldn't last long, either footsteps would be heard from him walking away from the fairy or she would answer his questions. If she did not answer, Ryuu really didn't want to be bothered with her. He narrowed his eyes as he glanced up at the covered moon, the light that the moon had given to the forest below had started to grow back when the clouds continued to move on. A chilling breeze brushed past Ryuu, but it didn't bother him much, he didn't even care to shiver. For there was no need, his body was already freezing cold. He turned back to take a glance at the fairy. She had frozen the tree and when she spoke she was obviously bragging about it. He wondered if these hailstones had anything to do with her freezing powers.
Cirno..... so that was her name. He hasn't heard anyone speak of such a name so it didn't come of any interest to him. "Hm..." She said she wanted to try freezing other things? And he guessed that the tree was one of them. What else would she attempt to freeze? She asked himself as he glared at her with narrowed eyes. Ryuuoshi didn't trust anyone and that was kinda obvious if you were to approach him. "Cirno?..." He said making sure he pronounced it correctly before continuing on. "Is that tree the only thing you wanted to freeze?" He asked out of suspicion.

Cirno actually had to think about that question for a moment. Not because she was afraid about what he might do to her (she is the strongest after all), but because she honestly didn't know the answer. The obvious answer would be 'everything,' but did she really want to freez everything? It was impossible to freeze fire, and freezing water really wasn't all that fun. Cirno just stood there for a moment, looked at the ground and put touched her lips with her index finger.
"Hmm..." she pondered, "I guess I'd like to try freezing everything at least once just to see if it's cool and fun."
Cirno honestly had no idea what she was saying. She didn't actually freeze people for the most part. She only did that when she was really bored or was just flat out attcking someone, which wasn't the case here. Sure, she wanted to play a fairly harmless prank on the guy, but if she really wanted him to freeze she would have just poked him.

Through the trees Honoo went, thankful that trees were actually blocking the cold air (perhaps trees just weren't meant for burning after all) when she finally found 2 people, one being a seemingly normal person while the other was... A fairy. With ICE wings. Freezing a tree. FREEZING. ....(#) Obviously this thing is the bane of existence itself, and was bent on the destruction of the entire world, so now she had her 'excuse' for setting this girl on fire until her freaking WINGS melted. Oh, and she was obviously responsible for the cold wind from earlier. And if she denies it's an obvious lie. And if ANYONE denied it they were being brainwashed. Obviously.
Honoo had made this all too obvious as her previously inward heat quickly went outward and escalated to a bright glow as she stared at this 'abomination', with a slightly insane look on her face, also 'activating' her own wings of fire, and spreading them out. Honoo completely ignored the other person, and didn't even care for his safety (he would obviously be much safer if she was gone from a 500 mile radius to him anyway. Or permanently. Permanently. Or at least temporarily.) In any case, she was bound to go nuts very soon. (Just not yet.)

Ryuuoshi listened to the fairy. When she meant everything, did she mean EVERYTHING, including him. If she decided to all of a sudden just start freezing things, he would know if she wanted to freeze him or not if she sent a freezing breeze toward him. He had the strange feeling that they were being watched but he simply brushed it away (Not noticing Hoono). Ryuu looked back at the hailstones. "I don't suppose these have anything to do with your powers?" he asked looked back towards her from down at he hailstone. Since these hailstones appeared some time when she did he was pretty sure that she had something to do with it. He awaited her answer while taking a quick scan of the surrounding area. There was something weird going on, he could just feel it. He wondered if she could feel it too, looking back at Cirno. He was pretty sure that this fairy wasn't stupid and oblivious to everything. Though he could admit that she probably didn't know that he was a vampire. Not many people did know until touching his frozen shell of a body or seeing his powers or fangs.

"Huh?" Cirno had forgotten about her hailstones for a minute there. "Oh right! That's my signature move. Pretty neat huh?"
She put her hands on her hips and grinned. Cirno was very proud of that skill and absolutely loved it when people complimented it. At least, she assumed that's why he asked about it. She wasn't attacking the guy, nor was she trying to freeze him, so anything that implied that she was trying to do either just went right over her head. Fairies weren't exactly known for being intelligent.
At this point all the hailstones were fairly far away from the guy. They moved in random directions, so some sank into the ground, others flew into the sky, one ran into her and made her shiver for a moment, and one started to fly towards Honoo. Of course, Cirno didn't actually notice Honoo yet, but she did notice that it was getting a little warmer. She was very sensitive to heat, so it wasn't that hard for her to notice. She didn't really think anything of it though since she was far too distracted by this guy and the tree she was freezing.

No one noticed her, surprisingly. That didn't stop her from getting mad at Cirno's existence though (ice and cold are instinctively hated by something that stands for fire itself), and when the 'hailstone' went by, she simply stepped out of its way, most likely vanishing as it landed. Honoo then finally lost it and proceeded to go 'dynamic entry' on Cirno by pulling out a spell card:
Charge "Rage of the Fire Fairy" [High Power]
And proceeding to go completely ablaze in a huge fireball as she charged Cirno, screaming "BLAZING DYNAMIC ENTRY" because...she had to scream something really, that's just what came to mind first.
Of note, the 'living fireball' has a trail, meaning chasing her would be rather dumb. Directly anyway. Of course, that in general would be a dumb idea, but note that the trail is actually there. It stays for quite a while.
(OOC: This would remind you of M. Bison's 'Psycho Crusher' really. Only the trail is also prominent. It's scary D:)

"I guess...." Ryuuoshi said, agreeing to the hailstones being cool. Though he took it kinda literatly, since the definintion of 'cool' would be: Cold or something cold, a chill. Ryuu yet again observed the hailstones watching as they floated away and most of them landing and freezing things. He narrowed his eyes as he watched one float off towards Honoo, of course, he didn't notice Honoo but he could sense that someone was there. He kept his eyes on that spot for just a short while until slowly beginning to look away and once he did another fairy bursted from the shadows yelling out 'BLAZING DYNAMIC ENTRY'. Ryuu floated back, away from the new fairy since it obviously seemed like she was going to attack. He didn't know who she was going to attack and he didn't want to take any chances.
The vampire was ready for a fight if thats what was soon going to happen. He wouldn't bare his fangs if he was absolutely sure that the newcomer wished to fight him and not Cirno.

He guesses? He GUESSES?! How could he sound so apathetic at what could be easily considered to be one of the greatest things this side of the boundry? Cirno could only stand there in shock for a few seconds. She simply could not understand how he thought. Then again, she didn't really understand a lot of things, but that was irrelevant.
Before she could say anything Cirno nearly choked on her own breath. There was a giant fireball heading straight towards her. She had no idea what caused this, nor did she really care. Cirno didn't just dislike fire, she was downright afraid of it. Even a small torch would be enough to prevent her from attacking someone, and she certainly enjoyed randomly attacking people that came near her home. And that was just a flame the size of a human fist. This monstrosity nearly made her wet herself. She was literally paralyzed with fear for a few seconds, but as the blazing ball of fire got closer and closer and she got warmer and warmer the feeling returned to her wings, and she turned to fly away.
Well, first she ran into the tree she was freezing, but how could she possibly pay attention with that thing out there? Cirno didn't really have time to pull herself together, so she just crawled on the ground until she remembered she could actually fly. All that was on her mind now was getting away from that as quickly as her little icicle wings could take her.

(Muse is critically low, pardon any errors. That and welcome back Ryuu .-.)
Well, Honoo had missed, but of course something made of that much evil had to at least be remotely skilled in order to not have been hunted and completely destroyed by someone else. Obviously. In any case, it seemed as there was someone else here, and he took a fighting stance. Well it seemed as though a fight was what was coming in his eyes, and the fairy was happy to retaliate, and maybe question him later, after all he was somewhat peaceful near that...thing.
...Oh what the heck, just burn them both, makes things far more simpler.
Honoo, after missing Cirno, went though the remaining sticks attempting to turn around and gain height so she could run down Cirno again, but because burning something that can stand being near the ice fairy is also a good idea, she decided that she would aim it in such a way that it hit both of them, because whatever this thing was, it sure wasn't welcome.
((Mysterious Figure: ...I'm bored. Do you have an idea as of what to do right now?)) ((Enigmatic Being: Look at the location of the fire fairy. More importantly, look at what it is doing.)) ((Mysterious Figure: Oh, it's in a fight?)) ((Enigmatic Being: Yes. And with her in a fight, action can be taken when she is tired or perhaps down. This all could have been a lot easier than a direct attack...and yet you didn't consult me about it. What am I do do with you...*sigh*)) ((Mysterious Figure: ........Oh. Your lucky you are what you are, you know that, right?)) ((Both: Right.)) ((Mysterious Figure: Though I must ask: Why are you smarter than my Commander?)) ((Commander: I won't answer that.)) ((Enigmatic Being: Because she does what you say, most likely out of fear that you'll blast her because your easily angered.)) ((Mysterious Figure: ...(#) )) ((Enigmatic Being: Now let's not prove my point inside. Or outside for that matter.))
(I'll eventually have a profile up for both of these mysterious characters, but who knows when eventually is. >.>) (And maybe the Commander, who may be getting a role inside my mini plot thing.)
