Freezing Frogs (DONE)

To Cirno this was a perfect day. The clouds blocked the sun, and made the misty lake much cooler than it would be on a sunny day. Cirno was an ice fairy, so she liked the cold. She flew around the lake aimlessly for a few hours before she finally noticed something intresting. There were several frogs on the edge of the lake. She smiled brightly, and clapped her hands in excitement. Finally, she could have some fu--er...practice her ice magic.

Cirno dove to the surface of the lake until she was just a few inches above the water. The frogs didn't seem to know what was about to happen to them, they just continued hopping, swimming and...doing whatever else frogs do. Grinning, she started to freeze one of the many frogs, but she messed up some how and the poor anphibian shattered.

Cirno just rubbed her chin and wondered what went wrong. This seemed to happen a lot, about one in every three frogs she froze would just shatter into pieces instead of simply freezing. She really didn't know why this happened, and no matter how much she thought about it she could never really figure it out. That kind of made her upset too, watching the frogs thaw was way more fun than watching them shatter into pieces. Plus, when they shattered that was one less frog she could freeze in the future. Oh well, there wasn't much she could do about it now, so she continued to freeze the frogs and giggle as they thawed.

All the comotion heard from the breaking of ice from the frogs could be heard as Tetsu walked closer into the pond, with a backpack on him, he said nothing as he looked back and blinked. "Eh, why does it sound like something is breaking." He said to himself, slowly he looked back and placed his hands in his pockets, his eyes then closed as he began walking forward once more.

He slowly, and quietly then looked around the corner to see a small girl, who was seemingly freezing amphibians, that was dumb to him, yet he only sat and watched her silently blinking. "How much fun could that bring?" He whispered to himself, he then drooped forward. "i have been so bored." He said to himself once again.

Cirno continued freezing the poor frogs until she noticed something out of the corner of her eye. Some guy decided to come to the lake today, awesome! It had cleared up a bit since earlier, but now there was a chilling wind blowing, so it was still fairly cool. This was great, not only was it still fairly cool, but now she had a target! Why did she want to attack this passerby? Well, he was there, did she need any other reason?

Cirno just looked at the man for a moment, before a michievious smirk spread across her lips. Then, she bolted into the sky until she was about thirty feet above the surface of the water. She spread her arms and summoned about twenty large, sharp icicles and let them rain on her target. They didn't cover a wide area because she was aiming directly at him, but they were fairly fast.

That day just got a lot more fun to Cirno. She hovered in the sky after her sudden attack and waited to see what her target did.

As soon as he felt the air shift and change, he opened his eyes and then leape dout of the way of the attack, his fists clenched as he watched her with a frown. "Sorry, but I don't like hitting women." He said simply, with two blinks. "Don't make me, or you will regret it, that is the only warning."

He then stood straight, as he watched her rain down more icicles, and with this jumped from ground, to tree as he flippe dforward and stopped as he began to run, his eyes fixated on what was ahead. "I really hate it, when they don't listen to me..." He said in a plain voice, scratching his head as he ran further.

Was he trying to run away? Well that's no fun. It's not like she was trying to kill him or anything, she just wanted to fight him as she tried to do with everyone that she saw. Clearly he must be afraid of her awesome fairy strength and didn't want to fight her because of that. Cirno just laughed at her thoughts and decided it was time to mix things up a little.

"Hit me? Do that and you might get frostbite~" she shouted in a playful voice.

That was actually true. Her body radiated cold, so the air around her was always cold, even during the summer. If someone who wasn't resistant to cold physically touched her then they really could get frostbite. While she wasn't really strong enough to be considered a threat, she was strong enough to be annoying.

Right now she really didn't want this guy to run away, so she summoned a large collumn of icicles that would surround her target. He would just be able to step over them once they hit the ground, but Cirno hadn't thought that far ahead. As far as she was concered her icicle collumns were enough to keep him there. After she fired off her icicle collumns Cirno continued to fire icicles at him. This was far more amusing than watching frogs thaw.

The icicles reached him as he leaped toward a tree once more, to the limbs catching his footing, as he used his leg strength, to in any case leap towards her, within the air, as he did, his arms went wide open as to catch her within flight, at quick speeds. "I said stop!" He said watching her as he flew across the air.

When he spoke Cirno actually did stop for a moment and looked at her target confused. "Why?" she asked while raising her eyebrow.

Cirno was enjoying herself, why should she stop? She didn't care if her target wasn't enjoying this, in fact it never crossed her mind that she might be irritating him. She rarely thought about that kind of thing.

Cirno didn't really care that he was attempting to grab her, that would probably hurt him more than it would hurt her. After all, it was fairly dangerous for warm-blooded creatures to touch her.

The boy had touched her, but something weird had happened, he wasn't frozen, with this, he flipped in the air, and landed on the ground watching her. "Now, stop this bull crap, and be a good little girl." He said to her as if a father.

So, he touched her and fell back to the ground just as she expect. Though, he did manage to survive a thirty foot drop and land without hurting himself, so he probably wasn't human. It didn't really matter to her though, if it moved and wasn't carrying fire Cirno would generally attack it just because she could.

"Why?" Cirno asked him again. He still hadn't answered her.

Even if he did give her a reasonable answer she probably wouldn't stop attacking him or anyone else that came by here. Cirno still wasn't attacking since she was curious as to why he didn't want to fight her and actually wanted him to answer.

"Look if you don't I'll have to get rough, an di haven't even used my fighting skills against you, I'm not afraid to hit kids, or women, but I don't like to, so if you don't stop I will do something, YOU will regret." He said growling. "Got it?!" He said in a roar.

Cirno didn't really understand what he was trying to say. He was SUPPOSED to fight back, it would be kind of silly if he didn't. It was the whole point of playing games like this, if he just stood there and let her pound on him it wouldn't be nearly as much fun. She was still very confused, and it showed on her face. Ah well, it didn't really matter anymore. She was getting sick of waiting for a real answer.

Cirno started playfully fluttering around in the air, not changing her altitude. What looked like bright, colorful hailstones started to appear around her, and soon after they were created they fluttered down towards the ground like snow. However, after they fell for a few moments they stopped falling, turned white and started moving in random directions. Some of them moved upward, some continued to fall towards the ground, some moved left and right, and others didn't move at all. Cirno didn't really know how each of them would move, she just created them.

"The hell is this now?" He said watching the hail a sit twisted and turned around him, his eyes moved forth and back as he then growled. "You don't listen you brat!" He said as he sighed and stood shaking his head as his fist clenched. "Fine, let me show you something..." He said as his fist began to turn constricted as his fisthit into a rock close at hand, breaking the rock with no difficult at all.

"Again I ask you, stop or that will be you, brat."

Cirno honestly didn't understand why he was so upset. It was just a fight, like many faries, this is how she played. Did he not want to play with her or something? Jerk. And what was this, treating a fight as though he were actually supposed to kill or seriously injure is opponent? He was a very silly person.

That was a silly demonstration. They were over a lake, and he didn't seem to have the ability to fly. If she just flew a little further it would be difficult for him to reach her. Not to mention the flury of ice stones around her. They didn't look like much, but if he actually touched one it would hurt a lot. It wouldn't cause death or permanent injury, but the area that came in contact with it would be in a lot of pain for awhile.

"Is that supposed to scare me? I'm a fairy, we like magical strength," she said nodding her head.

She summoned a few more ice stones, and stopped for a bit while she spoke. Once she finished, she pointed her index finger towards the sky, and several, small, fast icicles began pouring out of that finger. It was a fairly thick barrage of icicles, after all, if he wanted to show his raw power she wanted to show hers as well.

He said nothing as he grabbed a rock and then placed it in his hand. "Let's try to see who's the most accurate then, me or you?" He said simply throwing the rock up and down in his hand. "Throwing a rock at you or many, if thats the case, isn't really hurting you, because you need to learn, to stop playing with me, I wanted to relax today damn it!"

Throwing rocks? Geez this guy has no sense of humor. Honestly, Cirno was just glad he was trying to fight back instead of running away. If he ran away she wouldn't be able to play anymore, and that would be sad.

"Is it who has better accuracy or better range?" she giggled.

Sure he was strong, but Cirno could fly. Could he throw rocks 50 feet into the air? 100? 200? 500? Her attacks where going down, so she had no vertical range restrictions. She just wouldn't be able to see him from so far away, but that didn't matter much, she would just summon enough icicles so it wouldn't matter as much.
