"Hit the road, Jack, and don't cha come back no more, no more, no more, no more! Hit the road, Jack, and don't cha come back no more." The small, five foot tall, tengu stepped silently along her way, a long, black wolf tail trailing behind her. Her celestial eyes seemed to shimmer with happiness while she walked, completely content with the words to the song she was singing.
Her gaze shifted upwards, watching the clouds cover the sky. It was quite dark, especially in the forest. Not only was she shadowed by clouds, but by trees as well. The girl left a soft sigh in the air, continuing on her way. The jeans that were on her body hugged her hips cryptically, going down to her ankles where they cut off abruptly to reveal a pair of black and white converse.
"I wonder when I'll find that spot like last time..." the girl wondered, thinking to herself. It was true; last time she had ventured into the Forest of Magic, she had found herself in a gorgeous place. The sun had shone down specifically on that spot, as if it was made for her to be there. She smiled at the thought, and while her teeth were caught in the open, you could see the slightly pointed teeth.
On the top of her head, her onyx colored wolf ears twitched aggitatedly. She spun her head around at the noise, slowly, only to find a bunny trailing behind her. She smiled again before continuing on her way. So pretty today, even though its cloudy. I wish that someone were here to enjoy it with me... [/color] She reached up, touching the collar of her shirt. A vest, more like it, with a white T underneath. The vest, however, consisted of dark gray and black coloring. A red tie hung down from her neck, giving her the only sense of brightness about her. Well, except for her socks, probably. This girl always had a pair of socks bound to brighten someone's day.[/blockquote][/size][/font] |

"oh great lost again"
drevin sighed as he walked
"i lost count of how many times that is this month"
he stopped and looked around
"and now im talking to myself.....where is a bar when you need one"
he sighed again as his staff flashed white showing that it was recharged on moonlight
"well at least i dont have to worry about that"
he scrached behind his ear as a habit and he thought...something he did a lot when he was lost.

Continuing on her way, the girl was completely oblivious to him walking along his own path. Her blue eyes were cast forward, and she hummed softly to herself, keeping the rhyme in her head as her converse kept moving forward. The black wolf ears on her head twitched ever so slightly, and she flinched a bit before turning around. Probably just another bunny... [/color] she thought, however the thought was quickly thrown into the trash as her eyes met those of another. The girl's body grew a bit rigid; she had never been a people person before... She never liked hanging around with people... Even though she had friends and stuff... Hanging around with people she hadn't talked to for a while creeped her out. She almost spoke, "Who are you?" but the words only came out as a tiny whimper of dismay. The girl was frightened, it was easily seeable, as she stared back at the man. The man... That was the other problem. If it had been a girl, she probably would have been fine, but a man... She was febile... A tiny little tengu against him... A shiver ran down her spine at the thought.[/blockquote][/size][/font] |

drevin looked at the girl and stopped what he was doing
"oh hello there"
he smiled
"can you help me....im a little lost"
drevin laughed nervously

The girl let out an "Eep!" once the man had spoken to her, and she fled behind a tree, peeking out gently. What did he want with her? Directions? Pfft... An obvious LIE! Her dark blue eyes began to well with tears, her black ears lying flat against her head. The bushy black wolf tail behind her stopped swaying, and was now lowered by her legs.
"Please don't hurt me..." she whimpered, a small, yet adorable, look strewn across her face. [/size][/font] |

drevin was really confused
"why would i want to do that?"
he set his staff down infront of the tree she was hiding behind
"here....just to prove im not going to hurt you..you can hold onto my staff until you beleave me"
he smiled
"i promise i wont do anything to harm you"

The onyx colored ears on her head laid back as she leaned forward, picking up the staff as gently as she could. It was pretty, she had to admit, and she admired it slowly. Cheyenne wished she could have such a pretty thing...
She looked over to the man, watching him curiously as she rotated the staff in her hands, her ears picking up lightly. A smile soon grew on her face, revealing the small canine teeth in her mouth. "Uhmn... What did you want to know?" she asked, her tail twitching a bit.
She may have been a tengu, but not all tengus acted like a tengu. Cheyenne grinned a bit wider, blinking her celestial eyes softly in the filtered light. [/size][/font] |

he smiled again
"like i said before im not going to hurt you"
he looked around and then scratched behind his ear

Cheyenne's onyx wolf ear twitched slightly, and she twirled the staff in her hands gently. She never had a good sense of direction herself... How... strange that someone who wanted directions came to her... Of all people...
She frowned, biting her lower lip. "Gee... I wish I could help... But I'm not so good with directions either..." Cheyenne admited sheepishly. Her face flushed. "But... I could accompany you if you'd like." [/size][/font] |
