There was nothing to be thought, only things to be said. Well, besides wondering who wins and who loses, but worrying about that before the battle was silly.

Ozma knew first hand that is was a complicated thing to teach. A normal battle it was then.

"Guessing that means you don't, so a normal battle it is then. You get first strike~"

karada nodded and stepped into a hand to hand stance
"then we shall fight"

"Ready when you are then, and you do get the first strike mind you."

Ozma wondered what the delay was, perhaps it was him not being able to take the girl seriously? He should really speak his mind about that one. Of course, not being able to take her battling skill seriously probably had something to do with BEING a little girl, but Ozma had figured out that in 1v1 battles, it was actually easier to fight in this one, so she wasn't changing anytime soon. But if he wanted to know that he was not battling just a little girl...well, why would she be asking the psycho that question?

(Kaosu: All worry about this and worry about that, there IS NO NEED TO WORRY. I have everything under control...except this...and that...and maybe that too...but that's it.)

Ozma thought about it, and accepted. After all, as handy as magic is, Ozma had pure power behind it's/her back as well, and skill on top of that. Of course, Ozma would be holding back on the power part, and possibly on the skill.

"That works. Now are you going to have your first strike or not, if you for some reason don't want it then just say so."

Ozma stayed focused, because there wasn't a reason not to. Cautious as always.

he spun around with a sweeping kick

Ozma jumped backwards in order to dodge the clawing, and being agile made her jump back far enough to dodge the followup sweep kick in time. Her position upon landing was a great one to follow up with a reckless, fast jump forward at Karada, and when she got close (in midair of course) she would follow up with a punch (in midair). Combining their momentum would seriously hurt, though if dodged it would leave her back open.

Though of course if it was NOT dodged, you would be sent back some. And if it was dodged, Ozma always had a plan B.

(Kaosu: And that, and that, and that, but really, nothing else wrong.)

he flipped back to get some distance and stepped into stance again

karada was his by a magic dart from drevin's staff and was knocked off of his feet
"leave the damn girl alone karada....of all the people to attack this is low even for you"
drevin walked over to them his staff a golden yellow from being charged with sunlight

Ozma too spun around, knowing such a reckless attack would seem like it was too reckless, and guarded at his elbow. It didn't hurt Ozma much, but he certainly got a point there. Really, Ozma was still testing him, to see just how easy she should go. Obviously, he was skilled enough to dodge and attack.

"Maybe."

But then the other person had interrupted. Go figure, everywhere she/it went it was like some circus was following her/it around. To signal that she could take care of herself well enough, Ozma cast a quick flare spell, making fire appear for a second in the air, close to Drevin's head. It was not intended to hurt, rather surprise instead.

"I'm not actually being attacked, though if I was, it would be no contest."

(Kaosu: And that, and that, that too.....crap. Ok, so maybe I am doing somewhat badly here. But Ozma can wait, as I have training to do. Have to prepare myself for the eventual guests...)

drevin jumped and looked at ozma
"sorry then...i can't hurt him with that unfortunately"

karada got up...unharmed
"you always pop up at the worst of times"

Actually, Ozma was glad that he took no damage. If he did, that would be unfair, after all.

"Oh, that's good. Can't have my sparring partner hurt during the spar, right? That would be...unfair."

But when he noticed that one knew the other, there were a few questions to be answered.

"Wait, you know him?"

they glared at each other for a moment

drevin looked back at ozma and then at karada
"isn't she a little young for you tto be sparring with?"

Ah, rivals. Ozma sweatdropped at that thought. But it would be nice to continue the spar...

And the other one then commented on her looking too young. Really, she was probably older than all of them, and possibly older than everyone here. But in order to look like she was not just an 8 year old...

"Ok, so no one misunderstands my age, I am older than I appear. This should be more convincing."

If by chance any of them were about 7 meters away from her, she would ask them to "Stand back.". Then, she transforms into her natural from, which was more like a weird sphere, and certainly didn't look human.

She then transformed back as quickly as she did before, and said:

"That convincing?"
