karada lay in a tree watching a unsuspecting tengu in the next tree
tengu really ticked him off..no one was better then the nekomata
and he was going to prove it...he can come all the way up here just to stir up problems.
tendrils of darkness wrapped around his arm and then he whipped them around
they wrapped around the tengu and silently dragged it to where karada was....where he drained it
the tengu fell out of the tree screaming something about humans tearing out it's wings
with an evil smile he dropped down and stuck a shell next to the tengu
he was more then happy to blam the kappa for this attack

Ozma (in human form) was in a bad mood. Kaosu, now even more tense than ever thanks to recent events, was not in the mood to be criticized, and had kicked Ozma out once more. Ozma, knowing that there was even more time to waste, decided to head towards that rather big mountain. But of course, there was something else that needed attention, signaled by a scream. Ozma then (casually, actually) walked to the source's general area. When Ozma got there the source seemed quite dead, and a rather suspicious figure was about. And of course, it was going to talk, it wanted to or not.

Though as odd as Ozma looked, she gave off the harmless look. But if he were to attack...well, never be too sure.

karada looked at the girl and then back down to his victim
he started to walk away but something was different about the girl...she only looked human
he simply jumped back to his perch in the tree and waited to see if she would introduce herself

So, there's a dead body there and he simply walks away...and with something else on the body that most certainly was not on the body before it died. This person was up to something, and Ozma was not in the mood to just let it happen. Chaos energy had better uses, after all.

"Speak. You have something to do with this body, probably about it being dead and whatever object you have placed on it."

Ozma lost the harmlessness tone, but still, she looked like a little girl, though one that seemed irritated.

If he were to continue walking, he would be in for a rude awakening. But, with her pinning down what had gone on here so well, would he leave her alive? And why is she not scared of the dead body?

"he's not dead...just comatose"
karada hung upside down holding onto the branch with all fours
"he's watching is worst nightmares right now"
karada he an evil smiled
"never like the tengu...all high and mighty....it's about time someone brought their ego crashing to the ground"

Ozma knew at the very first thing he said that this kitty was not the kind you would let on your lap and such. Thankfully, Ozma had the ability to keep cool, but even this was somewhat slipping. When he said that the person was watching his worst nightmares, it slipped even more. But, he never explained the object. Then again, would he need to? And on his mention of the inflated tengu ego, Ozma could understand this...as she has seen many people overdosed with chaos energy in her/it's lifetime. This man was quite insane.

"You never quite explained the object, but perhaps you may be overdoing it just a little. Just a little."

The 'just a little' was spoken with a slight edge of sarcasm, both times.

What a bold little girl.

"its just a piece of a kappa's shell"
he got back up into the tree and layed down
"what is your name?"

The question was: "And...oh, I get it now."

Ozma, being the smart one, answered her/it's own question. Framing people for others actions...as fun as that is to do, perhaps it was one of the worst things to do with nightmare traps. As for the name question, Ozma hesitated, but then simply replied: "Ozma. Your's?"

Ozma kept a close eye on Karada, as if he could suddenly change location either towards or away from her, which was possible depending on how the conversation goes.

"OZMA!"
karada dropped out of the tree and landed with a bow
"i've heard so much about you my lord"
he smiled and put a hand on his necklace
"this was given to me by one of your worshippers"

...Wait, what?

No way...no.

...No.

No.

There was no way there could be anyone worshiping Ozma, as Ozma tried to keep her/it's secret. But, here this person was, doing so. There could only be a few explanations for this:

1. Trap. Quite possible, and the first thing Ozma always assumed.
2. Grunts got out of hand, called Ozma their leader (which was not entirely so, Kaosu fit that role better), and he took their necklace.
3. This person is insane, right? What's reason then?

Well, Option 1 seemed most likely, but even if Ozma wandered into the trap on purpose, it was unlikely that true harm would be done. Option 3 seemed least likely, but it was possible. Option 2 seemed the most sophisticated, but...

"Wait...if I in fact DO have worshipers, then why would they be giving you a necklace? Just asking."

"this necklace makes anyone i drain see their nightmares until they recover fully"
he stood up
"and it was made for me because like you i like to cause problems"
he smiled
"makes this world a more interesting place"

...Did they know that much already? A curious question, one that Ozma would probably go back to base to answer. But, perhaps some people here worshiped chaos and misunderstood it as chaotic EVIL and only such. There was chaotic neutral as well, and even chaotic good. Ozma liked chaotic neutral, and leaned slightly towards chaotic good at times, at others slightly towards chaotic evil. But it seems whoever gave Ozma the necklace found out that Ozma existed and not Kaosu, and therefore wrong assumptions were made.

"...Hm. As much as I like causing problems, I would know that things like these lead to over-the-top violence, which can be a good or bad thing, though here it would be more of a bad thing. And, they actually might be worshiping the wrong person. Though I already know who they should be worshiping quite personally...she kicked me out again. That's actually why I'm here. Though it would be interesting..."

Really, Ozma wanted their full attention on Kaosu, as if they fight amongst themselves, Kaosu's plan would end up failing, and more doomsday would end up having to be had. As chaotic as Kaosu was, being the god of chaos and such, doomsday wasn't her thing. If a war was to be waged, the chaos energy would be harder to get, making everything harder. Have to pull the sword from the stone somehow...

Chaos can be good, evil, or neutral. And so can order.

karada looked at then body and then back at ozma
"well my lord would you like to join me on this fine day"
he bowed again
"or should i just continue what i was doing?"

In both cases, he would continue. So, take a third option, of course. This third option would be of course, needless violence.

"Or, I can take a third option. A spar, perhaps, with a bet. You win, and I'll join you. You lose, and you stop doing this. That will actually benefit me in ways you have yet to know and won't be finding out anytime soon~"

"Oh, and I'll go easy on you if you wish, as your power probably can't be measured up to mine."

Which was certainly true when Kaosu was around, but as she wasn't, that had less backing. However, it still had backing anyway.

"Oh, and if or when I win, and I see more, it won't be pretty~ And lastly, if you decline the challenge I win by default."

A challenge. Win or Lose, she was getting chaos energy from the battle. He refuses to do any, and it will be less of a spar and more of an actual fight. If she wins, it will be easier to attract attention towards Ozma and Kaosu when the time came, which was drawing ever closer...

"but i can't say no to a good fight"
moved the tengu aiside so it would be out of the way
