(open) oni?...

drevin had heard rumors of a oni coming from under ground
he used to have a friend who was an oni...before this whole human thing came up
the oni was killed in a fight with a gang of humans
"well....if im not lost again the oni should have came out somewhere around here"
drevin looked around
with the full moon drevin's staff was at 100%
it was like a battery..it could be recharged many times but every once in a while had to be fixed or else it wouldn't hold a charge
at the moment it was full of moonlight and glowing brighter then normal
anyway drevin sat down and checked the directions he had been givin

[Genshuku]

"Well, this what I get for not checking the moon again..."

Genshuku was in this place in the middle of nowhere, and without her powers that would happen when the moon was NOT full, she was powerless. Literally. This, sucks.

But then, she saw someone sitting on the ground. A curious sight, though she didn't really know how this place worked. Gen already fought off a rather crazy ghost that didn't look like the ones she knew about back home. Anything was possible. Regardless, he had a staff, so in case something did go wrong, that should hopefully become right again, right?

"Hello?"

Gen was dragging along her spear, it being too heavy to carry normally. It was an odd sight to see, really. Now if only she fell somewhere more safe on the night of the full moon...maybe paying attention some more would help.

drevin stopped and looked at her
"oh hello"
he smiled
"you here about the oni sighting's too?"
he looked back at his directions again and thought
"okay so i did go the right way this time"

[Genshuku]

...Crap. Genshuku did hear about the rumor, but didn't expect that she would have a run in with someone searching for said oni. This would be less crappy if it wasn't the full moon, thus making her vulnerable to said oni. And what makes things worse is that if she went alone in the Forest of Magic to get away from said person who happens to be looking for an oni, she would be pretty much eaten alive by the local youkai.

"Actually, no. I was using the gravity power I have to fly around, but of course that stops during the full moon. And I wasn't playing attention to that, so here I am."

She wondered if he actually WAS going the right way now. Some people were just bad with directions...at least she could read them. Right.

drevin patted the rock he was sitting one
"well take a seat then..."
he looked at the directions
"it might be a while if im in the right place"

[Genshuku]

Well, she might as well. After all, she was lost too. And she couldn't really get unlost, either.

"Sure."

She then took the seat, and wondered if the person was holding the map right. If he wasn't, then both of them were lost.

"You ARE holding that the right way, right?"

appearantly they were in the right spot because the moment drevin stood up the ground beneath them collapsed
drevin ended up falling on an unsuspecting oni and knocking him to the ground

"WHAT TH- drevin?"
the oni looked at drevin
"its been forever"

drevin sat up dazed for a moment and looked at his old friend
"CARAMON!...i thought you were dead"

[Genshuku]

Well, it seems she could not ever stop falling. Down she went, perhaps panicking a little, though she was getting used to this. It just happened at an unsuspecting time, and when she got up she was looking at huge wolf thing. Drevin had landed on the oni, and of course angry things bite really really hard. But it turned out they knew each other, so that was a relief. And of course, the question: How did they know each other?

"Whew...wait, you two know each other?"

caramon looked at the human who had fallen in as well and growled
"hu-man you are in the wrong place"
caramon stood up still growling

drevin...not liking death..human or not stepped between them
"she's not a human...she's a lunarian"
drevin didn't really know one way or the other but he felt that he could trust her enough to play along

[Genshuku]

Lunarian? Well, she was certain she was born on earth...maybe of course, after all if that thing existed and her own powers existed, perhaps brainwashing did too. But this thing would kill (or at least try, but it would probably succeed) her if she admitted it, or didn't admit anything at all. To avoid dieing...

That thought felt slightly off. Lying about being a human, whom he didn't trust. LYING about being a human, that he didn't TRUST. Whoa there. If she wasn't pretty much being threatened with death, she would have answered truthfully.

In any case, it was hard to tell the difference anyway, not to mention the staff that fell down with her was shaped like a crescent moon. Really, she was probably about as human as Drevin was. (And yes, that's without knowing.) If he was human, this would be a weird moment for the oni. If he wasn't, it would just underline the point.

"Well, I'm about as human as he is."

caramon nodded
"alright"
he held out his hand
"my name is caramon"

drevin looked at gen
"sorry about him..."

[Genshuku]

It was weird, shaking hands with an oni, especially one that was going to kill her not even a moment ago. But whatever. She shook hands with him.

"And my name is Genshuku, though you can call me Gen for short~"

...I wonder, was he the oni that was seen by the others? She wouldn't go saying it was him for certain, but it's nice to know who the person is and such. It would make hunting for the next rumor or whatnot far simpler. Though she wasn't even trying to find this one...hey, might as well.

"Say, have you gone above ground recently? There was a rumor that an oni was spotted coming up from underground, and now that I'm here, I might as well find out. Speaking of which..."

Gen looked up. The ground was quite above them.

"...how do we get out of here? When we need to, anyway."

[zapy]

"there is an old lift system then we oni fixed up"
caramon smiled and stood up

"we?...you mean there are more of you left alive?"
drevin smiled and caramon nodded"

"and i was"
caramon looked back at gen

[Genshuku]

Well that was good. It was also slightly weird though, how a place that seemed so...old...had a bunch of technological things as well, such as the robots she had taken out earlier. But Gen wasn't complaining, oh no. She had a way out of here that shouldn't accid--ok stop thinking those thoughts. Who knows what could happen...

It seemed that these creatures were hunted a long time ago. Giving that he didn't trust humans, Gen put two and two together and knew that humans were to blame. Ah, no matter where she was, humans sure liked to be evil in some way, shape, or form. In any case, with the rumor going around, they might come back to finish what they started. This, was a bad thing.

"Well, then it would seem that they were onto you. If I'm correct, the humans you don't trust that seemingly wiped you off the face of the earth might try again. So just in case, be careful~"

Unless the humans had changed somewhat. But, Gen wouldn't know how most people here acted, she only got here just a while ago.

drevin's tails swished back and forth for a moment and then he looked at gen
"as far as anyone else knows the oni are dead...we dont want more trouble for them"
he smiled
"okay?"

caramon turned around
"i could use a drink...you could come if you want"
he walked off
