Yuka is 'slightly'* insane. Notably, she will attack strangers without any reason whatsoever (of course not to death, but until beaten). She is also seen in a bad light by most people (and guess why), and due to the fact she is extremely tough, is generally avoided. She certainly isn't evil though. Just don't touch any flowers. She'll kill you. Matter of fact, if she happens to be amongst the flowers, just stay far far far away from her. Let her be, or she'll kill you.
Speaking of flowers, she enjoys flower viewings, being near flowers...ect. A flower freak for certain. Don't let her hear you say that though. If she can beat you up without a reason, she certainly will with a reason.
One thing is for certain: She does not care about you if you are not strong. And oddly enough, if you don't know the face, she also does not seem very strong, even somewhat looking like a normal human. But obviously, she is not a normal human. She is an abnormal youkai.
Normally, she resides in The Garden of the Sun (the faeries located there tend to stay away from her for obvious reasons), or in the area of the Hakurei Shrine. You may also be able to catch her buying flowers from time to time, of course. She is a flower youkai after all. Speaking of the the shrine, there's a reason why Reimu hasn't gotten to exterminating Yuka yet. No one really knows it though. Besides, the shrine maiden is lazy.
Abilities and Fighting Style: The ability to manipulate flowers. That ability is usually not used for combat however: instead she quickly and easily blasts the crap out of anything that she feels like, or punches them/it into oblivion, because she's also a super strong youkai. Heck, she could battle it out with Suika and not lose horribly (and Suika is the strongest youkai in Gensokyo (or at least Aya says so, and she met both of them), if you didn't know).
Just know this: Chances are, if you fight her, you will lose. It's why she has rules for battling. If one loses, the other shall not continue. Of course, this is when she takes the initiative. If you are the one to start the battle (even on accident) then she will probably just kill you.
Strengths:
-- Yuka is Yuka. Physical strength is through the roof, along with pretty much every other strength. But certainly physical. Definitely physical.
-- Do you know what Yuka is thinking? Most likely not. This is a strength.
-- Her umbrella blocks danmaku, making it an excellent defensive tool that is also lightweight and fitting of her. (Mostly because it's a flower. In fact, it's a flower that never withers. But didn't I say this?)
Weaknesses:
-- A bit slow. And by that, I mean movement speed, not brain. Movement is slower than most things, so it's easier to run away when she randomly attacks you. This is slightly negated by the fact she can shoot lasers that move really fast, but hey, at least it will only be for a while.
-- Fire and other nature killers, but especially fire. Speaking of that, you try any of that near her or her flowers and she'll kill you. But it is a weakness, and should be mentioned.
-- Not well liked due to the fact she's 'slightly'* insane AND a powerhouse. If anyone could get the nerve to actually do so, she would be one of the first targeted for extermination. Did I mention she doesn't take most battles seriously?
