Laharl was bored. His castle was derelict due to a lack of prinnies to clean it up, thanks to Etna* leaving again due to him snacking on some pudding (which was her's, though Laharl didn't and doesn't care at all anyway). He decided to go to a random portal via his dimensional gatekeeper, and ended up in Gensokyo. Where did he end up in Gensokyo?

He ended up in Mugenkan, Garden of the Sun, and the sight of all the sunflowers made Laharl want to hurl.

"Ugh! What kind of place is THIS?"

It was daytime, there were sunflowers everywhere, and Laharl wanted to bust some heads. The only heads that were here to bash were the heads of all these sunflowers, and the occasional fairy. One had the nerve to tease him up close. And with a flick of his sword, that fairy might end up reviving in the near future, but is currently dead. But of course, that was just some nameless fairy anyway. What was more annoying than the sunflowers was that he could hardly see through them, being 4 feet and 4 inches tall**, hardly bigger than the sunflowers themselves. And because this annoyed Laharl, he simply took the path that was most obvious to him, to cut his way through every single sunflower that dared to stand in his way***. He wasn't about to let a bunch of freaking plants get in his way, was he? Certainly not.

Ernn was weak it was not a goo thing for him to be in the sun so he covered himself from head to toe with cloth and laid under the forgiving shade of the sunflowers. If Eeva had not spent all of the money on clothes he would be resting a a comfortable bed than the hard cold earth. He looked over at Eeva who was fast asleep a feet from him and smiled. He could never stay angry at her even when he wanted to. It was then he noticed it. The sound of a blade swiping through flowers. Ernn at once grabbed his blade and stood up only to sway in the spot. He was much weaker in the sun but he had no choice if whatever was swinging the sword came to him he would have to protect Eeva.

Laharl managed to notice a head poking out of the sunflowers, and out of boredom, cut his way there, stopping only when his blade was mere inches from beheading the head of the person which he saw. Then, he asked him a question, because he really didn't know where he was. Then he can get on with his life, possibly after killing whoever decided to be there.

"And just who the hell are you? You don't look that tough*."

Rude little boy indeed.** He didn't even really care who this person was, really.

"And where the heck am I?"

There, that was the more useful question. Laharl pondered making this person his vassal, but he seemed too weak. Meh.

*(Toughness is everything where he comes from.)
**(4 feet 4 inches, to be exact.)

Ernn looked at the short guy and could not help to let a smile show.
Ernn stared at the guy not knowing to take him seriously or not. This person seemed to be under the delusion that he was all powerful.

"And just who the hell are you? You don't look that tough*.

As Ernn did not speak much, hardly at all he wrote his name in the dirt. Ernn Kallisto Klein. He tilted his head like a curious puppy hand still tight on his blade. It was then he noticed a rustling Eeva finally awoken.

"Who the heck are you?"said Eeva as she stood on her feet. "Ha what a tiny thing are you a child or just short?"asked Eeva.

Ernn shook his head from embarrassment and looked back at Eeva lecturing her with his thoughts.
"Yeah, Yeah look I'm sorry for picking at you." said Eeva pouting.

"And where the heck am I?"

Ernn looked back at Eeva to speak for him. Eeva sighed and stretched. "You are in Gensokyo to be more specific you are in the Garden of the Sun" she said bored. "By the way why are your chopping down these beautiful flowers?" asked Eeva.

Fast track to hell. Laharl still didn't pay attention to their names, but instead was pretty much just asking if they were of any significance to him (which they weren't).

Who was Laharl? Well, now would be a great time to make himself known and feared by the people that dared to have the nerve to call him short!

"Who am I? I am the Overlord, LAHARL!"

And with that, he slammed his sword into the ground, and the earth shook with the attack, even uprooting a few of the sunflowers. It had actually caught the attention of someone that was admiring the flowers*, and she started to go to see what all the fuss was about. Of course, this was at the pace of a leisurely stroll.

"And for your information, I'm 1316 years old!"

And he slammed his sword into the ground again, just as hard as last time. He was not in a good mood, and the expression on his face showed this quite clearly, along with his hair and even his scarf.

"Gensokyo...Great. I just need to find who's in charge and beat them to death, then take this place for myself! Haaaahahahaha!!!!"

He certainly had the maniacal evil laugh in him. Perhaps he wasn't a joke?

"And the flowers were in my way, and their so-called-beauty does not fit me, unless they're burning or dead. Now...to kill you now, or make you my vassals..."

To put it bluntly, oh shit.

The earth shook around Ernn while Eeva was screaming her head off Ernn was cool and calm watching, waiting. Calm yourself Eeva he thought to himself. Eeva heard and stood behind him as grabbing the outer fabric of his clothes. Ernn floated into the air above this Laharl and stared below. Ernn eyes began to glow blood red and unsheathed his sword. He was not up to a long fight at least not till the sun set the best he would be able to do is to protect Eeva and himself till nightfall then he could fight. "Stop."said Ernn the first words he said in a long while but he was always able to speak only he never wanted to. Eeva stared at the back of Ernn covered head the last time he spoke was to say he loved her. Now he spoke in a pleading voice for this guy to stop. Ernn lowered Eeva across the field to a safer spot and walked over to Laharl and stood before him. Ernn turned to his side and pointed the blade at Laharl face looking away. "Fight, then Stop."said Ernn in his deep calm voice. It would not be long now before the sun would set and he would have all his powers. This passive stance he was in was the start of the Jigoku Kirikizu Technique(Hell Slash) which cuts a person into unrecognizable chunks. He readied himself for Laharl first move.

He finally spoke. Not that it mattered, based on what he said. Like hell he was going to stop. No grade-F...whatever he was was going to attempt to beat Laharl.

"I've decided. I'm going to kill you, and make the loudmouth my vassal! Haaahahahaha!!"

And Laharl drew his blade at the same time Ernn drew his own. When he said the next thing...well, that's what he was going to do anyway, minus the stop part.

Laharl jumped backwards, then jumped up high, aiming for what looked like nothing. But then his blade turned green, and when he swung it downwards, it created a giant green slash downward at him, also destroying a good portion of sunflowers and possibly catching Eeva in it as well.*

Ernn looked in shock as the slash came his way. As it came crashing down and the dust cleared away Ernn did a body check. He lost a arm and his hair was burned slightly. He grabbed the detached arm and put it in place where it graphed on to him automatically. It was now his turn. He blurred and jumped into the air and lunged at Laharl striking at the eye then the thigh, the abs, the chest then grabbing behind Laharl trying to hold him still used his hidden ability. Bio absorption. A ability that allow him to absorb living things into his body making them apart of him taking their memories and abilities and making them his. He smirked at Laharl as soon he will only exist as a part of Ernn. It was then he notice Eeva knocked out on the ground. He let go of Laharl and ran over to her. Wake up he thought. Please Wake up and be okay. Eeva opened her eyes and stared up at Ernn. "Ouch what a pain, you should finishing him off." said Eeva. Ernn smiled and turned his attention back to Laharl.

Laharl smirked when he saw the damage he had done to the group and the sunflowers, but was surprised when he put himself back together again. Laharl was back on the ground as the man delivered a series of blows, but Laharl hardly budged, he merely blinked to block the attack on his eye with his eyelid*, and when Ernn started to use his power, Laharl let him grab him, then while he had a grip on Laharl, Laharl immediately grabbed at the guy's head. It would be pretty hard to not get grabbed, what with already having a grip and using a power.

Giving that he did grab him, which was all too likely, Laharl would rip Ernn away from his own grip, and say a few words.**

"Not bad. Maybe I'll just make you both my vassals. Either that, or I can just crush your head! Just try to put yourself together after THAT! Haaahahahaha!!!"

And with that, he tightened his grip considerably. He really wasn't kidding, and neither was his evil laugh.

Yuka had arrived at the scene, and...well, it looked wrecked. Whoever destroyed all the flowers was going to have hell to pay after this fight. But, Yuka didn't know which one of them it was, and so decided whoever won probably did it. Laharl was too busy to notice her, though. But, she was visible to anyone that took a look around. Her parasol was open, meaning she was clearly there, and...well, even in this destruction, she looked pretty calm.***

*(Laharl is badass dood. There's a reason 5 strengths are for sheer power, dood.)
**(And on top of this, giving he manages to grab right, anything after and including 'He let go of Laharl' never happened.)
***(Calm while insane, dood. She's really quite angry inside, and looking for a fight with whoever did this.)

If anyone was watching the space right behind Yuka, they would have seen a small rip appear in the scenery, widening until it was nearly as long as a man's height. Ribbons then slithered out of each corner, tying themselves into neat bows. Finally, ten fingers poked through the middle of the fissure and pushed its lips apart to reveal Yukari Yakumo, Youkai of boundaries, creator of Gensokyo and mistress of all therein.

Yukari heaved herself halfway out of the gap and rested the weight of her upper body on its edge, with her head a few feet away from Yuka's arm. She wasn't normally this sluggish but her mind and body weren't exactly working at full capacity after she had to literally gap her way out of a pleasant dream. Her slumber had been disturbed by the sense of a vast power forcibly entering Gensokyo and although she would normally have kept herself asleep she had decided to resolve this issue so that the rest of her nap would be more peaceful. After all, even humans believed that sleep was more pleasant after a little exercise.

The desolation she saw gave a welcome jolt to her tired mind, giving her enough clarity for a bit of her trademark wit. She smiled lightly.

"Looks like I missed quite a bit of the fun."
