If you know me you know that there's a mentaility in the role playing community that I absolutely hate. It's that having more words somehow makes you a better role player. Being wordy does not make you awesome, in fact, if you can say something in less words you are generally a better writer. So that's the basis of this contest: you're going to create a character and you have very few words to use.
The Contest
So yeah, PM me if you want in. I'll give you a name, gender, race and ability and you'll create a character around that. Use the application template to do this. However, you only have a limited number of words you can use for each section. If you go over you will be disqualified. Here are the maximum amount of words you can use for each section:
Name: 4
Nicknames/titles: 10
Age: 1
Age appearance: 1
Race: 1
Gender: 1
Apperance: 50
Personality: 100
Likes: 10
Dislikes: 10
Greatest fear: 10
Ambitions/desires: 10
Weapons: 25
Abilities and fighting style: 50
Strengths: 25
Weaknesses: 25
History: 200
Again, if you go over, even by one word, you will be disqualified. Going under is perfectly fine. UBBC and coding does not count in the word count.
Once you finish PM it to me. If you post it in this thread you will be disqualified. Then I'll randomly send the profile to someone and they will write a post that is no more than 200 words. I will give the subject of the post. Once they write that post they will also PM it to me. Then I will reveal all the profiles and the posts and everyone will try to identify which profile goes to which post. Whichever gets matched the most often is the winner (IE there are two winners, the one that wrote the profile and the one that wrote the post). If there is a tie Gen and I will break it.
Rules
1.) You MUST send the profile and the post to me via private message. If you send it to me any other way, or post in this thread you will be disqualified.
2.) You cannot go over any of the word counts. If you do you will be disqualified. Going under is fine though. Yes, I will be counting the words.
3.) You may only send one entry and that one entry must use the name, gender, race and abilities I give you. If it does not you will be disqualified.
4.) Don't talk about your entry until after the contest has ended. Doing so will disqualify you.
Prizes
If you win you get 1000 yen. There will be two winners; the person that wrote the profile and the person that wrote the post.
