On ## day I, Aya Shameimaru, was searching Youkai Mountain for a missing child when I came across the goddess of chaos Kaosu and her shikigami Ozma. As it turns out they had the girl I was searching for, but that wasn't it; they were actually abductiong a poor, little girl for nefarious purposes. This goddess wants to destroy Gensokyo. Both Kaosu and Ozma claim that they don't want to destroy Gensokyo, but they have to. They also refused to explain why they absolutely needed to destroy Gensokyo, so I was forced to come to my own conclusion. But first, I must report the facts.
The first photo is of the goddess of chaos Kaosu and the second is her shikigami Ozma. Kaosu lives up to her title on...several levels. First...Well just look at her. It's really a shame that my camera can only print black and white pictures because she is so colorful that she puts Kaguya's Rainbow Danmaku to shame. Her personality seems to change quickly and frequently as well. About the only thing I can say about her is that it is impossible to predict what she will do next. Third, her danmaku is very shiny and colorful. There is absolutely no reason to doubt that she is the goddess of chaos in short.
Kaosu came her from a different universe (though she didn't say much about her universe), and she brought her castle with her. Her castle is in the Forest of Magic. I decided to fly over there before writing this to see if I could find it. Well, she claimed it was invisible when I first spoke to her, and her shikigami also said it was invisible when I interviewed her(?), but when I flew over the Forest of Magic I could see it quite clearly. So they were either lying or they happened to make it visible while I was flying over there. I have no way of telling which it is.
Kaosu wants everyone in Gensokyo to go there and beat her up. Supposively this will help with whatever the reason is she's trying to destroy Gensokyo, but I honestly think that's just an excuse. So, I asked her shikigami why Kaosu didn't just put her castle on Youkai Mountain if she wanted to be beat up so badly. After all, the tengu wouldn't stand for it, the goddess of the wind and the rain Kanako Yasaka would be furious beyond description, and some strong humans, including the happy shrine maiden of paradise Reimu Hakurei and the thief Marisa Kirisame, would probably go up there too. So, why the forest of magic? I quote "The villain's castle is supposed to be in a dark and scary place." Well I suppose the Forest of Magic is dark and scary, but I'm still not sure what I'm supposed to think about that.
So, I think it's safe to say that Kaosu is completely insane. She wants people to go beat her up, she put her castle in an inferior place for a rather odd reason, and she talked to herself on the battlefield. Fortunately, being completely insane suits the goddess of chaos in some strange way.
So, why do I think she really wants to destroy Gensokyo? Well, when I first saw her she was abducting two young girls. They were both inside of her shikigami Ozma, so I was unable to see nor get a picture of one of the girls. The one I was able to save was a young raccon youkai. She's very cute.
Sarah (pictured) was saved, but her friend Zi was taken to Kaosu's castle. According to Ozma, Zi has the ability to manipulate energy and therefore she would make a very good power supply, but this reporter has to wonder if that's the only reason that child was kidnapped. Sarah was bawling her poor little eyes out, but it didn't seem to affect either of them at all. So, I have come to the conclusion that Kaosu simply hates young girls. Since that's what about 95% (estimated) of Gensokyo's population is it makes perfect sense for her to want to destroy it. At this point I have no reason to believe that she does NOT want to destroy Gensokyo. She claims she doesn't, but has yet to tell me why she has to, so it just sounds like an excuse.
So why would she make up something like that? After doing some research I found something from the outside world that explained everything. They are called "video games," more specifically "RPGs." Apparently the villain is supposed to have a tragic backstory and a reason to do the horrible things they do in order to make the audience feel something for them. That fits perfectly with her reason for putting her castle in the Forest of Magic since the lairs of most of the villains in these RPGs really do have their castle in a dark and scary place. Ozma also gave me another hint about why they were really doing this; she said and I quote "The answer will become clear to the curious ones." In other words, if I did a little bit of research I would quickly discover the answer. These "RPGs" really did explain everything. So, those of you from the outside world should help the people that are native to Gensokyo since you know more about these things than they do.
So, should everyone reading this give that goddess exactly what she's asked for? I say yes. While most good people would be against giving such a despicable person what she wants (even if it does make them feel better) I do not doubt that she really could destroy Gensokyo. She claims that if she gets what she wants she won't (have to) destroy Gensokyo. Even if she's lying it would be wrong to not try to save our home at least. So, everyone that is reading this should gather all of their strength, head for the Forest of Magic and beat up this goddess.
