Lost and Aggravated (open)

Without any hesitation Lash took out his rebar and hit Drevin across the side of the head, “Do that again an I’ll make sure you get more then a bump on the head you arrogant ass.” warned Lash, “I’m not about to look down upon from some pompous creature who doesn’t know squat about me. And you,” Lash turned to Gen, “Wake up. The world isn’t a nice place so stop pretending everything is all flowers and candy. I don’t care if it’s here or earth nothing has changed. Sure I’m surrounded by weirdoes and monsters but it is all the same but in a new wrapper so don’t try to feed me bull.”

Lash began to crack his neck feeling much more calmer after that little explanation. Still, these people were selfish through and through. They had no intension of helping him get back and refused to look at the whole picture. Their ability to comprehend how he felt and what he was going though was nonexistent. Even more they treated it as if it was no big deal leaving behind his home, friends, family, nearly everything he loved and cherished. That alone was the main cause for hi9s current aggravation.

“Sorry to disappoint you two but I acutely paid attention in my sociology, psychology, and philosophy class. So regardless of the place, time, and being I can guarantee that the similarities to this worlds social behavior are far more striking then the differences but I digress--I don’t want to be here! Why is that so damn hard for you two to understand?”

drevin was knocked down when lash hit him
he stood up with a glare

he grabbed genshuku's arm and started to walk off

Lash decided to smack Drevin in response. It wasn't surprising, so Gen took no action in response to that. What Lash said next had a few holes in it. Gen decided to pick them out.

"The world is not flowers and candy, I know too well. And I am referring to both when I say this: If it was, the flowers would be ugly and the candy would be poisonous. I never said this one was perfect, but it's better than the other one. And aren't these things you seem to be thinking about generally caused by other things that happen to not be present here?"

Had she heard the other explanation, she might have been able to agree with him in some areas. But as he never mentioned the family and friends, she couldn't say anything about it. She truely never understood that feeling though, lacking a good family and having no friends.

Drevin had been knocked back by the justified retaliation, and proceeded to grab hold of Gen's arm.

But, Gen would not budge. She wanted to find an actual reason from him before she would leave. Besides, Drevin seemed upset about the smack which he had earned.

"Leggo of me, I'm not done yet. And you can't be upset about the smack you received, you earned it by smacking him. When I'm done, I might tag along."

In reality, everyone looks at their own version of the whole picture when they look at the whole picture. Gen had an altered view, lacking the ties of family that Lash's picture had, among other things that just happened to be some of the main reasons he wanted to stay. Drevin probably had an entirely different picture to begin with, being a native and all.

Lash ruffled his own hair, “Yada, yada, yada, new place, new world, same BS.” he muttered, “Whatever, I’m not going to bother arguing since it isn’t getting me anywhere so what do you think I should be doing in this grand new world huh?”

In some ways Lash felt fairly defeated in trying to explain to them the situation he was in but it seemed futile. There was just far too much inconsistencies in their lives for any type of cross compatibility of emotions. Still, trying to force this notion into their heads wasn’t working and if anything doing it any more would probably blow up in his face. Lash’s typical analogy of “using a bigger hammer” wasn’t going to work this time. Instead he though maybe--maybe he’d corporate.

Lash looked up and stared at the sky “This isn’t exactly my forte, you know, the whole magical being thing. Not like I can even fulfill even my basic needs of the pyramid. “ he said half to himself half to Gen and Drevin.

he decided to take a different approach to this situation
"ra....lash......i understand you know nothing of this world...but since your here we might as well figure out what we can do"
he looked at genshuku for a moment
"we might be able to find out more about your past this way"
