Hikaru was already unconcious. He did nothing, kanda finally was able to stand up. He stood up and looked down at Hikaru in dismay. He thought, The weakest fighter out of the 3 of us... defeated that gatekeeper.... Incredible... I didn't think he was capable enough to do something like that... He could surpass me Kanda looked back at Yumi, he thought The girl saved my life... I guess its time I step in and do real work... The shard is nearby. Kanda's emotionless eyes looked up at the vampire Flandre Scarlet. His eyes shifted back down to Hikaru and the girl mourning him. He said to the girl "I wish I could understand... why you are crying... All beings have a life span, and they will die one day..."
Kanda bent down to Hikaru and touched his forehead. He said "He is alive."

Tsukiomi walked accross the lake and heard loud noises from back at the mansion that he just retreated from. Haru looked back and said "They must've been getting into a fight."
Tsukiomi said "I sense a shard of the sacred stone..."
Haru said "Really.... Where?"
Tsukiomi closed his eyes and then tracked down the exact location through the usage of energy. Tsukiomi said opening his eyes quickly "Inside a book, and the shard is moving at the moment. My guess, someone is holding a book and walking accross the mansion. What do you think we should do Haru?"
"Beats me," Haru shrugged "You decide."
Tsukiomi said with dark eyes "We are going back, hopefully that Agyel won't be as lucky as last time..."

Korochi was dumbfounded by the Agyel's apparent calmness. One of the most dangerous beings in Gensokyo was about to be unleashed upon them and Kanda was having a philosophical discussion? They wouldn't have been able to defeat Flandre if all of them were fresh and their chances were even slimmer with all the injuries they'd sustained, so talking was the least important thing they needed to be doing right now. Korochi called out to Kanda.
"Hey Kanda! You seem to have noticed that Vampire floating there but maybe you don't know how dangerous she is. Well, she's REALLY dangerous. If you spend too much time talking about life and death here our deaths will come pretty soon. You have to decide NOW if you'll run or if you'll fight. I'll help you whichever you choose but CHOOSE QUICKLY!"

"Karmaic Vengance: Taboo - Laevateinn!" Flandre shouted, holding up a spellcard between both her open palms. In a surge of heat and flame, it transformed into a longsword that blazed with pure unbridled fury, the fires intense enough that they could feel a large temperature difference just from where they were.
She grasped it with both hands, and as she did so, a pillar of fire shot forth from it, extending into the sky in what appeared to simply be a show of her massive power.
...of course, that would be too easy.
Flandre brought the sword down so that the piller of flame would land directly on Hikaru and Katrina's current location with enough force that small and large sized rocks and balls of flame shot everywhere like a danmaku barrage as it dug into the ground.
The resulting explosion threw up an even heaverier assult at the end for a split second, and Flandre buried herself in the smoke, using it to obscure any other attackers' vision while she sought out her prey to see if they had survived. She realized that she wasn't at full power somehow, and had relied on the power of her spellcard in order to cause such a powerful strike - her own destruction capabilitites were beyond her with this strange handicap.

Katrina looked up at Kanda.
"He's..alive?"
The mournful expression on her face faded into a slight smile.
Suddenly, a huge flame piller came down.. With her healing ability powerless, Katrina had no choice but to fight.
It didn't go so well. A pillar of flame was coming down at her and Hikaru. She quickly pushed him out of the way. He was unscathed for the time being, but her skirt caught on fire as the pillar hit her feet, and on instinct she ran to the lake and jumped in. That thwarted the fire, but she still had the other people to save.
She climbed out. There were balls of flame everywhere.
"Aurora Wind!"
Her finger was pointed straight at Flandre.

Kanda didn't even look at Korochi and understood the situation. Kanda in an instant grabbed Hikaru and dashed away from the raining flames. Fireballs hit the ground as Kanda's wings flew him away dodging most of the flames. Then a huge ball of fire was headed toward him. Kanda sent a super sonic wave of thunder with his palm causing the flame to disperse. However the flame exploded and Kanda's wing catched on fire. Kanda instantly flapped his wings through the air sending so fast that the sound waves produced by it was as loud as thunder. The sound wave caused the flameo n his wing to disintegrate and blow away. Kanda's emotionless eyes shifted to the person who used the fire balls. He charged energy through his spear as lightning became visible on his spear tip. Kand said "Korochi... you distract this vampire here while I prepare my technique. I'll end this with only one slash... I am sure of this..."
Tsukiomi was watching silently from the tree. He thought, Cocky much, no...? One slash, eh? Now is my chance to see what he is really made of.

Hong Meiling couldn't fight... For now... Her injuries were too great, and she couldn't muster up enough ki to put up a good fight. Best she could do for now was try to get out of the way. So she crawled. Crawled to the motionless maid who, just moments earlier, had been hit with a powerful stream of electricity. And there the two waited in perfect silence.
((No need to mind me in posting order, by the way. Both my cherries are out of the fight))

Korochi somehow managed to hear all of Kanda's instructions through the chaos of Flandre's attack. Part of her wanted to just grab the arrogant winged man and run him to safety but another part of her wanted to see if he could indeed tame the Scarlet monster with a single attack. She shouted her agreement.
First, though, she had to make sure that Hikaru and the other wounded were out of trouble. As quickly as she could she collected Hikaru, the girl who had been with Kanda and the small Youkai girl she'd defeated and flew them over to where the Mansion's gatekeeper and the maid were lying. Before they could react she tossed her barely living cargo onto the ground a scant few inches from them, then she immediately returned to the battlefield. Hopefully their proximity to Flandre's acquaintances would keep them safe from the raging Vampire.
Then as she dodged the fireballs she tried to think of something she could do that Flandre would even notice. If the Vampire had emerged before today's battles Korochi would have been able to bring at least two powerful magic beams to bear on her but at the moment she didn't think she could even manage one. A voice came from the direction of the lake and Korochi turned to see the human girl from earlier emerging from the water.
Water! That was it! She'd heard rumors that the Scarlet sisters were vulnerable to running water and spitting water was one thing her Orochi body could do quite well. Even if the rumors turned out to be false a violent enough torrent of water could kill a human and Flandre might at least dodge it on instinct, which would be the distraction Kanda needed.
As quickly as she could she flew over to the lake and plunged into the water, beginning a partial transformation even before she reached the surface. Her blood stained the water red as her Orochi form's many wounds opened again but she trusted that the excitement of battle would keep her in the fight even if she bled dry. Four massive reptilian heads emerged from the water and two of them immediately submerged again to gulp down the lake's contents at a phenomenal rate.
Rippling the muscles in one of her free necks Korochi pumped water up it and through its mouth at a staggering rate, resulting in a violent gush of liquid that was almost as wide as one of her regular magic beams and which reached almost as far. She couldn't see Flandre through the smoke that the Vampire's attack had generated but by sweeping her 'beam' of water through the cloud she hoped to flush the Scarlet girl out into the open. Her free head kept watch, waiting to zero in on Flandre and give the girl a good soaking if she emerged.

Flandre hit the deck as she heard it coming, the torrent of water sweeping over her, momentarily freezing up her movement as it passed overhead. She shook off the droplets the landed on her, scowling.
She hated water. And if this thing saw her, it'd get her wet. Meaning the best card to use was- "Taboo - Maze of Love!" Literal walls of danmaku spun outward from her, and aside from the occasional hole that spun through them, she was perfectly blocked from sight.

Hidden inside the Scarlet Devil Mansion's Library:
Rekainas looked up. His hiding was effective, what was that ruckus outside? He decided to leave, gently putting the book back. He wondered were Patchouli was, and for the moment, didn't care. He walked over to the entrance to see Hong Meiling down on the ground, with multiple fighters seperate, yet fighting one target. Flandre! He knew it would be bad if Flandre defeated the fighters, and joined in with the only vial of Darkflame he hed handy and nearby. His voice boomed out, seeing that the group outside had little time.
"Darkflame- Blissful Oblivion!!"
The familiar dark plumes of fire surged forth, fly towards Flandre in a rush of destruction. Rekainas had aimed well, no one else was in the flames' path of terror. He only hoped this might save the fighters.

Well, Katrina's attack seemed to have no effect at all. The water was effective, a bit of it, and Hikaru and the other wounded seemed to be safe. She thought she'd try again.
"Aurora Wind!"
This time, she was pointing to the middle of a lot of danmaku, some of which was headed straight for her. In such an event, Katrina jumped out of the way, but she still got hit. A lot, too. She decided to continue fighting, just at a "safe" point. Her point she chose happened to be the lake, and as soon as she jumped in she began throwing her light orbs.

Kanda dropped Hikaru next to Yumi, the next thing he saw was water. He said to Korochi "Perfect... Water is a strong conducter of electricity. Water will make my next move almost undodgeable unless a greater conducter of lightning is present."
The next wave of Danmaku was coming over, Kanda decided it was time he used his technique, his own danmaku. Kanda input a a great amount of energy into his spear Zues. The dense coat of energy was automatically composed into Lightning hence the spear blade itself was lightning base. Kanda is thunder based. By this point in time, black flames of hell appeared out of nowhere firing toward Flandre. Kanda didn't mind the black flames, because it wasn't going to get in the way of his next spell anyways. he would be more concerned if it were metal. Kanda then caught fgrom his cornia vision that Katrina was ready to fight. Kanda had already started his technique, it was too late to turn back now. He thought, My weapon is the electricity, I am the thunder. Together we are ture lightning. Behold my secret technique, a combination of Thunder strike and Lightning howl. I call it, Raikotsu Tenshiro... Kanda with extreme speed flew through the air dodging as many danmaku as he could. One peice sliced the edge of his wing. It didn't matter, this wasn't goign to stop Kanda from going on. Kanda spear with lightning charged through it started to howl like a wolf. Kanda's technique was now fully charged. As kanda neared Flandre, he unleashed the thunder strike creating a conbination between his two techniques to form the Raikotsu Tenshiro. Kanda sent a wave of lightning and thunder toward Flandre. The attack was devistating as lightning struck everwhere possible. The attack was a double edged sword. Kanda's own weakness was lightning, as the lightning lashed out like a whip, it struck one of Kanda's wings. Kanda thought This technique should work... Besides, I won't be able to fly anymore... kanda started to fall from the sky as the lightning and thunder continued toward Flandre at the speed of lightning.

Well, that went well, I guess....
Rekainas braced for impact, expecting a fearsome counterspell. It never came, and he guessed Flandre had bigger problems on her hands. A flash of lightning was heading towards Flandre, and Rekainas decided then and there to join in.
As if I haven't already...
He shot his needles of Alchemist's Fire flying towards Flandre. This battle was not over.

"...you all annoy me..." Flandre started. "SO MUCH!" Time seemed to slow down as the realization of the card she was holding dawned on anyone who could see it.
"BLACK HOLE - PORTAL TO THE SCARLET NETHERWORLD!"
There was a breif instant where there didn't seem to be anything.
And then, there was nothing.
Space itself tore apart into a swirling vortex that ate the attacks like it was nothing, sucking even the surrounding area towards it. Trees ripped out of the ground, the land lifting up and breaking away as it, too, was devoured by the small devil's rage.
And above all, the man who was falling through the sky, was no longer in a position where even his speed could get him out of the suction...
However, Flandre herself seemed to be gone, as well.

Korochi had abandoned her watery assault as soon as she'd felt herself being pulled towards the Vampire's vortex and she'd begun digging three of her heads and the two tails she'd managed to get out as deep into the ground as she could. Fortunately for her, two of her mouths found solid bedrock and she'd been able to anchor herself to it at the cost of a few teeth.
Even so, the attractive force of Flandre's spellcard was overwhelming and Korochi had to bite the bedrock with her remaining heads as well to keep from being pulled towards it. She felt her body and tails being lifted into the air by the power of the spellcard and soon almost all of her massive form was flapping in the air like a limp rag as mud from the lake rushed over her on its way to the hole in the sky.

The massive din woke Carmellia up again but she didn't have time to look around before she felt herself being lifted strongly into the air. In desperation she grabbed hold of the nearest thing she could see in an effort to keep herself from being pulled off the ground and when she could only get one of her arms to respond she wrenched herself forward and caught the thing with her teeth as well.
"The thing" happened to be the skirt of the Scarlet Devil Mansion's gatekeeper who had been lying next to her.

GOD DAMN IT!
A potal opened up. Another spellcard, perhaps? Rekainas trid to fly off, but it wasn't that easy. He was exausted trying to move anywhere but into the portal. He knew he had little to hold onto. If I could just reach those rocks...
He managed barely to reach the rocks, holding on for dear life as he came face-to-face with a large multi-headed THING.[/b]
Apart from being terrified, Rekainas was fine, and he could see this "thing" was much worse for wear.
Rekainas tried desperately to hold onto the rocks, with little success. He was tired, and being earlier cramped in a shelf did not help much. He only hoped it may stop soon....
--about 15 seconds later--
Rekainas was out of energy. He couldn't hold on anymore, and began to slip towards the void.. Damn, it was hard to struggle, and he knew this was a losing battle. 3 seconds later, he passed out from exaustion.
"wasn't....
strong enough....
I'm....
sorry...."
Rekainas was plunging towards the black void.
"Ah!"
Rekainas' eyes snapped open. He was falling, and fast. That thing wasn't going to go away until he died.
"Alchemist's Fire- Flame Ascention!!!!"
Jets of fire and wind flew behind Rekainas as he was lifted upward. He was getting out! But Rekainas couldn't hold it for much longer, and someone still needed to get Flandre. He was on his last legs, and though the Fire may injure Flandre, it wouldn't by much.
Damn it, I need help!!!
