Katrina's whisper was enough to wake Carmellia and the Youkai shot off the ground. After glancing to either side for threats she realized what had really happened and she gave the windmill girl a withering glare. "Just let me sleep already!"
Without waiting for a reply she flew over to the other side of the (former) house and lay down again. The sounds of the village were louder now and she couldn't fall asleep right away but she pulled the top of her gown up over her ears and curled herself up to wait until she did. Her irritation and haste kept her from understanding Katrina's words but at this point she didn't care at all. She just hoped the human wouldn't come looking for her again, at least for a few hours.

Hm...
Without a house, all Katrina could do was wander. That was it.
She packed up a travel bag and was all set to go, but she didn't know where to go or what to do.
She thought of getting a new house in the Human Village, but she didn't have the kind of money for another one. Then a thought occured to her as she looked over at the sleeping youkai.
A little bit scared this time, she walked over to Carmellia and tapped her on the shoulder again.
"Pssst!" she whispered. "I'm going to go off and wander. Would you like to come with me?"

Hikaru was sitting next to his tree like usual. He sat there alone. He noticed a girl and a Youkai. He looked at them and then looked up at the sky. He thought, Sky continents... Do they even exist....

Once again Carmellia jerked upright. This time she knew exactly who had disturbed her and she half-screamed her response. "WHAT NOW!? YOUR HOUSE AGAIN? FINE! I'LL FIX YOUR HOUSE!"
Muttering to herself, she got up and flew over to the remains of Katrina's home. The pieces were quite large so she figured that it wouldn't take too long to put everything back. How hard could it possibly be for someone so talented? The windmill would have to go, of course, but she figured that Katrina wouldn't need it any longer.
She decided to start with what looked like part of the wall but when she tried to lift it she found that it was too heavy. With an irritated sigh she broke it in two and placed the smaller bit where she thought it belonged, followed by the remainder of the piece.
At that point she began to think that it might take longer than she'd thought it would, but she went on anyway with the hope that she would finally be allowed to sleep in peace after she was done.

"Here, I'll help," Katrina said with a hint of relief to her voice.
She picked up a larger piece and fit it into the house like a puzzle. It stuck due to the magic that Gensokyans used to build.
She then proceded to fit the rest together, as fast as she could.
Then she stopped. The rest of the house was to tall for her. What to do?

Hikaru looked at them build a house. He thought, This place can really use some construction... So different from Tokyo... Hikaru was extremely observant. He noticed that the house was too tall for her to build. Hikaru at first ignored it but he felt as if he should help. Black fallen angel wings sprouted from Hikaru's back and Hikaru flew over to Katrina. He landed and the wings disappeared. He said "Hey... uhhh.... would you like a hand?"

Truth be told, Carmellia had been working much more slowly than Katrina as she didn't know where each piece went. She didn't care for the truth, though. It seemed to her that the windmill girl was mocking her ability by joining in, that the human found her slow and in need of help. The winged man's offer was the last straw and in her anger she slammed the piece she was holding onto the ground.
"STOP! JUST STOP! I can do this ON MY OWN! I DON'T NEED YOUR HELP! JUST GO AWAY!" She picked the piece up again but had to wipe the tears from her eyes before carrying it over to the house. Why did humans have to be so difficult?

Wow, so many shocks in one day! And to think that Katrina had woken up that very morning thinking nothing would change. Boy, had she been wrong!
Katrina walked toward Carmellia.
"It's okay," she said as she put her hand on the youkai's shoulder and wiped away her tears with a hankie.
"I'm right here," she said.

Hikaru had no idea trying to help caused such a big commotion. Hikaru swiftly turned arround and thought, What's that short girl's problem...? Hikaru silently walked away back to his tree.

Carmellia simply pouted and pulled away from Katrina. She didn't understand why humans had to be so dense sometimes. Didn't the windmill girl see that she wanted to be alone? Well, regardless of Katrina's motives Carmellia believed that the human would go home once her house was back up so she sped up her work. At least her tears had stopped and she could see properly again.

Katrina backed away. The girl probably wanted to be alone, but she didn't know why. And she couldn't for the life of her understand why she didn't want help.
Just then Katrina noticed the boy sitting in the tree.
"Hello?" she called up to him.

Hikaru looked up at the girl. His devistating eyes slowly shifting up to her. He said "Yes?... "
Hikaru eyes not looking away from her eyes. Hikaru lifted his head revealing the Scar on his eye. As his white hair blew across the wind.

Carmellia had only managed to move a few pieces since Katrina left her and she was getting tired. A third of the roof was in place but having to fly each piece up was rather exhausting. After making sure the two others wouldn't see her she silently dropped into the house and sat against the wall to catch her breath.
It would be easy to give up but that would prove the human right about her needing help, and her pride simply wouldn't allow that. She resolved to continue again as soon as she could, but even as that thought occurred her eyelids grew heavy and she fell asleep on the spot.

Oh dear...
"I'm sorry, I have to help this girl," Katrina said to Hikaru. "My name's Katrina, by the way."
She decided that Carmellia should not have to work if she was too tired. So Katrina picked up a house piece and...
...it was still too tall for her.
She ran back to Hikaru. "Hey?" she called up. "I could use a hand. Will you help me please?"

Hikaru closed his eyes and said "I will help you... Then..."
Hikaru turn his left hand into steel and then pulled out a hammer right out of his wrist. Wings came out of his back and he said "Where should I start?"
